The year begins with a good start even though the first part of this was released just before Christmas Eve. Reminds a bit of song of the bandits, but a few years later with fantasy elements. This is a very different hospital series with its Frankenstein inspired way. Also see similarities with the host and duty after school when it comes to monsters. Also better than expected, as I don't watch much sci-fi/fantasy. Can also find that Vincenzo has similarities to this one that I can see without mentioning any details. Surprising with its characteristics and plot twists during the course of the action.

For those of you who have seen Mouse, you can also say that this contains a philosophical and ethical thought experiment. Which is practiced practically in an impossibly good way. You can see and decide for yourself. No value is placed on this for you to experience and judge for yourself. However, much more extreme and inhuman in my opinion. Many well-known main roles and supporting roles that many of you have probably seen before. I was a little skeptical at first, but I can really say that it is good. Brave new Penthouse!!!!!

My absolute most anticipated series ever and the absolute best of the year in my opinion in all categories. However, want to warn sensitive viewers that this is absolutely not a quiet thriller. It basically has a very picaresque plot, which really feels extremely villainous and very nasty. This is a makjang in an even more extreme form, when you didn't think you could get more in The Penthouse incredibly. Builds on a revenge story in many stages that is anchored in various events. Wilder and crazier than ever, compared to what I've seen before.

These 7 different leads with different backgrounds, captured at the same time. There is a reason that is explained why over time. We find out their motives and backstory, how they are involved and what they have in common. The relationships between the characters, their lifestyles and secrets. Also their goals and life history.

Is there a common motive, what happened to the missing girl and what was the meaning of her. Since everyone is sneaky, there are no hero roles in this one. Everyone ambushes each other. Don't feel that everyone is honorable directly because of their moral choices. Romance is never in focus when it comes to this author's series, as there is more focus on family relationships instead. Family relationships are complicated when they are not united, much dividing their desires and goals. At the same time, there are a lot of families to keep an eye on. The family part is only one aspect of the plot.

A mammoth series that is extremely well made with very epic and grand soundtracks. Also has nice effects with its high production quality. Entertaining through and through and very exciting, there isn't a quiet minute before the next thing happens. Indescribable chaos from start to finish. Raw and crazy without hiding anything. The reason behind the title is revealed over time. Really like her way of writing, how she mixes family, music and thriller at a terrific pace. This year's favorite and my personal favorite along with The Penthouse. A magnificent masterpiece!!!!!!

A thrilling start!!

Now we get to start the year with a heavy series, a thriller in 2 parts. A series with a mix of detective stories and thrillers with a bit of revenge. Money has a big focus in this, as it is about how it is handled in different ways such as fraud, pyramid schemes and fraud. Many have been promised good promises of good investments in a short time and big returns with a small investment. It turns out not to be true, but everyone involved has been deceived. Just as the title of the series suggests, a good lure is needed to deceive its target audience.
In terms of plot, this is reminiscent of a mixture of Money heist and Through the darkness. As we have many deprived victims and at the same time a detective who is on the hunt for the fraudster. The detective at work is very thorough and a former lawyer. Very experienced and goal oriented who takes work seriously. He started with another case in the beginning but they seem to be related.
Cinematically and visually dark and well done. Good pace and there is a lot going on. There are many time parallels, switches between present and past often. Have the same goal in the end, the backstories are explained. You look at what has happened from both the detective's and the fraudster's point of view.
Many familiar faces, most of you probably recognize Heo Sung Tae, the con man who started it all. Jung Na Yeon(Lee Elijah) is also affected by the fraud and is looking for answers. Although not so clear about her motives from the beginning, but you feel for her. If you have seen Money Heist, you will also recognize other actors who are in it. There are also many other well-known actors as well.
If you want to see something in the same style, you should see Insider. Psychological thriller with many common threads, literally as in the intro. There are a lot of details to keep track of. Funny bunny & much more!!!

Thought I wouldn't see a romantic comedy I liked for a while. Glad I found an odd one and a not very talked about one. However, it may not be to everyone's taste, but I highly recommend it. As some have noticed, I've mostly reviewed thrillers because that's the genre I watch the most.

This one has a lot of office humor that is somewhat reminiscent of Gaus Electronics but much more mature. Especially when it comes to marketing, which is managed in different ways. Unlock my boss also has something in common in terms of office environment and various events. Lots of shenanigans going on between the walls and much more.

The characters stand out in different ways, she can be perceived as a bit cold at first. At the same time, she is very good at negotiating and determined and knows all the tricks to succeed. Gets his way easily in every way. He is the opposite, funny and very idealistic. Also more relaxed and stubborn in their ways. Besides these two, we have 2 others who are closely connected to the main roles who have their interests behind everything that happens. They also work at the company and have ideas about changing the business in their own way. The supporting cast are rather odd characters that fit well into the context. These really have quirky personalities. Not the usual types you often see, but they stand out a lot. Almost everyone has a very youthful clothing style with bright colors most of the time.

Didn't know what to expect at first when I tested an episode. But I got to see what I like to see in terms of relationships and events in between. This is probably the weirdest and most different series I've seen, which is very funny and hilarious in many ways. The soundtrack is perfectly gallant in the background and also visually well done. Makes my top list, not just for this year, has really become a favorite for this mix of genres. It is not only the funnest series since Gaus Electronics but also very exciting in my opinion. Shouldn't mention much more than this, it should above all be experienced. Finally, don't be fooled by the cute poster. I almost did. Magnificent and incredibly worth seeing!!!!!!!!!!!

Sequel to Mr Sunshine???

Is it the next Mr Sunshine?? Really feels like a sequel without being one. Set around the same time period where Mr. Sunshine ends. Here, it is the rebels who are trying to reclaim their country from the Japanese occupation. This series is based in the 1910s and beyond as they struggle to maintain their independence.

Shown is a dark story that is very tragic. The people suffer in great pain, when their own country is ruled by another empire. The Japanese imperialists run as they please in their order. Very clear with their political pressures. The land has become theirs, they rule on their terms. At the same time, there is a third party that is ruining it for everyone too, the gangs in the wilderness and in the villages. These gangs act a bit like bounty hunters, they don't bother the Japanese fully. When they are paid for their missions, they are no threat to the great power.

The male lead is a patriot with his own motives. He starts out as an ex-soldier with no particular background at all. His competence interests people who can imagine sacrificing themselves for the same goal. The special forces he commands have quite distinctive character traits. These have unique skills that are very bullet proof with their gear. Not much romance in focus at all, just team spirit and patriotism through and through. However, he encounters a counterpart with the same goal who does not want to cooperate with him. She follows her interests primarily as a real opportunist.

Musically, there are good soundtracks, however, the rock music changes the mood in certain moments and makes it feel more comical, strangely enough. There is a lot of action and fighting with some carnage delivered every now and then. It is very fast paced and fast paced. Lots of intense battles going on in full swing. Nice effects and well-made duels occasionally. Would describe this one as Mr. Sunshine on steroids, with a large overdose of violence. Many wild western environments and nice landscape pictures. Second better than one.

2 years later, the taxi company Rainbow Taxi is up again since the first season. After their absence, they have started the business. Vehicles and other equipment roll on as usual.

The group dynamic in the taxi company is fantastic. They cover for each other evenly and constantly. New challenges and problems. They sacrifice body, life and limb to achieve their goal and deliver a good result in every case. Kim Do Gi can be perceived as a bit cold and cool, he is not the hero here but the anti-hero. Who wants revenge because of his trauma. Kim Hui Sung deserves praise for the veteran actor he is. Here has a decision-making role even though their organization is flat. The mechanics are even more comical. The pragmatic and incredibly caring programmer also contributes a lot. The entire team at Rainbow taxi has a very good community. This season there has been a newcomer to the group. Whether the new employee fits into the group is up to you to decide, but I have my scepticism. He seems to stand out more from the group. His intentions may not be the same. The prosecutor who was hunting the gang is not in this season.

Cinematically, the series has evolved for the better. Even higher quality of everything like that. Referred to season 1 a lot, so you should watch it first. Like most of the rougher and more unexpected series that some of you may have noticed. A different one where terror and death reign within the school's corridors and walls. The social game mafia is lived out for real. You have to guess who is to blame for all the terrible events. Reminds a bit of the Squid game where it's everyone against everyone.

A thriller that is quite devastating at times with serious high tension. don't know what happens next. The feeling of dread never goes away. As far from romance as you can get in these contexts. Caring is the closest you can see. Otherwise, it is betrayal and false trust in each other that applies to being able to survive. The mafia against civilians, doctors and police according to the rules of the game. Except with the method of voting everyone is done on their own mobile phone instead of pointing someone out by hand. The biggest gain is to have life preserved, a lot that happens in between.

Discovered this series quite recently and thought this I must review. Thought I'd watch it first while I wait for others to come. In this one, there are many women in the lead roles. These women as mothers focus on their pre-school children. Who invests and wants the best for their children.

Social media and private secrets in focus, status hunting and celebrity at first. However, there is much more going on in private life than that. There are some similarities with Celebrity in terms of the amount of antagonists and part of the theme.
What lies beneath the surface behind their posts?
What do they want to show or hide?

The protagonist also works in banking & finance, which reminds me of one in Little women that I can see similarities with. Both series have some similarities but also some differences. She is perceived as an obstacle for the other women, even though she wants to know the truth because of an incident. I have to say that I like her tenacity very much, she never gives up. There are many and very many who turn against her. Which many are connected to and can relate to. Great fight between her antagonists.

This one is not very violent at all but intense, rather a light psychological thriller. No romantic love in focus. The men end up a little to the side. They help and do their part. Characters are mature, at the same time there are complex family situations and difficult problems. Which makes the series also reminiscent of Lies hidden in my garden fast with several families. Would also say this deeper too, maybe because the series is longer too. The intentions of this are not always obvious. As there is more focus on parenthood. Glad I discovered this a few days before the first episodes were released on Viki. A series out of the ordinary, not the typical romance and love that you often see. With it, a lot is about romance on a completely different level.
A series that talks openly about sexual counseling. Can say it's more some kind of foreplay. This goes more in depth and is more intimate. Which makes it stand out even more visually. For me it has been very educational. If you like Love and leashes, this one is a step further with no BSDM content. There will be some talk about sex toys and such as well. Just like Love and leashes and partly the love relationship in The law cafe, it is also about consent.
To talk about the roles and characters. So we start from the relationships of two girls. One has a long-term relationship that has its ups and downs. The other girl seeks more to be satisfied in her own way with everyone she meets. Their boss is very open about letting them do the podcast their way with a free hand at the book publisher they work for.
Would like to say that it is very mature and unexpected. It takes relationships to a different level than what you usually see. Funny and very touching at times. Is about both parties in the relationship being satisfied. It usually speaks from a woman's perspective in the relationship.
