Full of action without a soul!

Before I start my review, I want to say something, so people can understand why I think, this is just another below average Japanese adaption!

I LOVE Yu Yu Hakusho since I was 10! I still remember that every week when the new episode aired in my country, I recorded every episode on my VHS. Yes, I'm that old, I used a VCR.😅 Then I watched all the 112 episodes, over and over again. I've seen the anime at least 50 times. So, when I say, YYH is my favorite Anime, I'm not exaggerating at all. When I first saw the trailer for this adaptation, my first thought was that it looks cheap, like basically every Shounen Fight adaptation that was made in Japan. Even tho the casting looked good, and the best part in this adaptation is the cast and the acting, I don't think I can name other positives.

The worst thing in this show is not the fact that it's only 5 episodes. They literally adapted 66 episodes from the anime in 5 episodes! Okay, okay, technically this isn't true, because they left out some side-stories, not to mention important characters and backstories. The worst part is not this. The fact is, if you never watched the anime, I don't think you're going to feel anything towards the characters. Sometimes it made me emotional, BUT only because I know these characters already, and I know why those things happened. Also, why these characters acted like the way they did.

If you never watched the anime, maybe you'll feel that it was a fun, because it is action packed and there's no slowing down, not even for a second. Still, I don't think you will have any connection with the characters. This adaptation is like a recap of 66 episodes. You will know the basics, but what's the point watching a recap when you can watch the whole story with real emotions, and you can see the whole journey and character developments? Not to mention, you'll understand why these characters became friends. They completely left that out from the show. This is like when you play an online game with strangers. They're not your real friends, but it's still fun, except that you will forget about them after you closed the game. This show is exactly like that!

So, yeah, it's not bad, but you're going to forget everything and everyone after you finished it.
I don't see the point of having another recap season. The best part in this show is the fight scenes, the acting, and the fact it will make people watch the anime!

Lastly, I have to say that the OST (the songs and the score too) was boring. One of the best part of the anime is the score!
Also, the VFX is not always bad, but it wasn't anything special. It's a typical Japanese CGI anime adaptation.

REFRESHING!!!

First of all, let's just say, I'm surprised!!! Why? Because I thought that this is going to be a typical fairy tale drama, but no, it isn't!!! Let me say one thing for those who want to watch this show, and they have huge expectations. FORGET THEM ALL! It's not a typical love drama, and it's not even a feelgood drama. IF you watched 'Crash Landing on You', you will have almost the same experience, and it's not a coincidence because both show made by the same director! This is not a fantasy where everything is good and there are rainbows and cute puppies.😅 This drama is REAL as it gets. If you hate one or more characters because of their decisions, I'm not surprised. BUT if you ever loved someone, especially when you were young, you will understand why this show is a fantastic representation of “young love” and young people in general. Sure, we could say, Doona sometimes willful, violent or just don't care about anyone else but herself. That's only the surface! This drama showed us how fame can ruin a person's life, and not everything is as it seems, and maybe you want to watch TV shows because you want to escape from reality. If you want to do that, DON'T WATCH THIS DRAMA! Like I said, this isn't a fairy tale!

The characters are real, Doona too. The whole Idol part of the show just scratched the surface, to be honest, because being a celebrity is way worse than we have seen in this show. So, I'm not that surprised that the ending wasn't a typical Disney fairy tale. BTW, the ending. If you want happy ending, you have to pay attention!!! Again, YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION, because the director purposefully blended every scene together perfectly, so you have to think twice or even more if you want to know what happened, especially in the second half of the season. He sprinkled a LOT of info and little scenes in the intro and in the episodes where you can find clues how the show really ended! Honestly, I bow down for the director because in my lifetime (36 years) I didn't witness a creative directing like this too many times!

My only problem with the show, is that it's too short, 9 episode nothing. I could watch 9 more. I hope there will be a second season, because if we don't count the minor issues and the short season, this show could've been perfect.

Quantity over quality!

People say: Less is more. Now, Vincenzo is THE prime example of that! First, the ONLY thing that saved this show from being boring hot garbage is the acting and Inzaghi. He was the best character on the show.🤣 Jokes aside, I love mafia stories and Vincenzo had a huge potential to be a fantastic show, but it isn't! Why? Well, 20 episodes are too much, especially if every episode was just as long as a whole movie. If every episode had been 40 minute long, now that would make the show much better. Also, I really liked the action, and most of the drama parts of the story. The chemistry between the characters, not just the two main lead, were great. Some comedic scenes were funny, but most of them were over the top and totally unnecessary. Sometimes it felt like the show is more of a mafia genre parody. Where this show really shines is the action and the couple of dramatic scenes, like the stories with the parents. Song Joong Ki as Vincenzo is absolutely perfect, he was really charismatic, badass, funny, and he was great in the dramatic scenes too. Jeon Yeo Been as Cha Young was almost as good as Joong Ki, their chemistry was great, but because of the lazy writing her character felt too much sometimes. I liked the side characters too in the house, but like I said, they were the comedic side of the story and sadly, it was too much most of the time.

What irritates me the most is that they had more than 25 hours to wrap up the story, but they still managed to include like 3 or more different stories in one episode. I don't mind if they want to include the love story, I liked them together, but if you want them to be together, why do it in the last 5 minute? Makes zero sense. I could mention like 10+ plot holes, but it would take a day to write everything down. Honestly, sometimes I felt, they just wanted a show with cool action scenes, but they forgot to do something with the characters. Disappointing, really. This show is what I call OVERRATED!

8 hours, felt like 4!

I wanted to watch this Kdrama for a very long time. Now, I had some free time, and even tho, this is a fantastic show, it felt like they wanted a marathon, but eventually it became a sprint. The bases of the story are nothing special, to be honest. This is a typical revenge story. What makes it great is the acting!!! Han So Hee literally carried the whole show on her back. If you want to watch this show for the plot, just ignore it, because after 2 episode or so, you're going to figure out everything. Especially if this isn't your first crime/revenge drama.

The story is pretty simple, someone killed Ji Woon's dad, and she wants revenge. That's the whole story. This is like the female version of John Wick! Han So Hee's acting is absolutely phenomenal! You can tell that she's worked like crazy to make us feel, she's actually a badass fighter, and she is! Sure, sometimes fight scenes are weird because the camera movements are fast, and just like in John Wick the protagonist should've died a long time ago, and not just her. But if you can ignore this, and the average story, it's a really good, action packed 8 hours!

The big problem with this show is that it's too short, and I feel like the writer didn't really know what she wanted from this story. Sometimes Ji Woon wants revenge, but here comes the romance, if we can call it that, because it came from nowhere, it just happened. I don't know what was the point if they killed him in the process, just so we can have a big ass fight scene. They should've ignored the whole romance story, especially because I don't think the chemistry was there.

Also, the finale felt like they lost interest or didn't have enough money to finish it like they wanted to. We literally don't know anything about what happened with Ji Woon after she killed Moo Jin. How did she survive, why she's not in prison, etc?! It was like they cut out 30 minute.

For me: the best ending would've been Ji Woon kills Moo Jin, but she would've died in the process, because what now? She's going to live alone, without any punishment? Makes no sense. You can't just live a normal life after killing so many people.

So, yeah, this is a great drama overall, but it felt like a 1st season, and I don't think there's going to be a 2nd season, and I don't think we need another season, because she finished what she started. With 10 episode, this show would be perfect!

Why it's not perfect?

To answer to my own question, I have no idea!

How should I describe Castaway Diva in a simple way? It's a show about people whom are fighting for their family, their love, their dreams, and never give up! Mokha is probably the most inspiring character I've seen for a long time. Park Eun Bin and the whole cast and crew deserve every award! I don't know if I should've given 10/10 or 9/10 for this show. It feels like I'm nitpicking, but honestly, there were a couple of things in the story that could've been a LITTLE BIT better. IN MY HEART, THIS IS A PERFECT DRAMA, but as a more critical person, it's "ONLY" 9/10! It would be surprising if Park Eun Bin and the crew won't win anything next year. Amazing show, masterclass acting, one of the best written show in 2023, the entire production was top-notch, and probably had THE Best OST too. I don't even remember when was the last time a Kdrama had a perfect OST, not just the songs, but the score too.

Here comes the long part!😅

What I LOVED about the Castaway Diva, is that on the surface it's about a girl who idolize a singer, and she wants to be a singer too, just like her Idol. But if you watch the whole show, and you pay attention, you'll see, it's about finding your own path, finding happiness, and that's not fame or money, it's LOVE and FAMILY! Nowadays, these words became cliché, thanks to the souless movies. This show is about REAL PEOPLE with REAL STRUGGLES. Most Kdrama creator don't even dare to put half of what the Castaway Diva creators put in this show. In the past 6 weeks I saw so many comments from people, complaining, when will we see Mokha as an Idol. The sad part in this fandom is that most Kdrama fans aren't used to the real world stories. They want fantasy, and that's okay, but for me, there's nothing more important than learning something meaningful from a show, movie, or a book. A story can be fun, even if the story doesn't make sense at all. Marvel movies proved it for years, but if you're watching the same thing over and over, it will become boring eventually. This Kdrama showed everyone, you can write a fun show even if it's realistic and dealing with many real world problems like, domestic abuse, depression, alcoholism, toxicity, prejudice, or insecurity. Why is it so hard to be an Idol in Korea (especially if you're older than 30) or just being an average person who can't even ask help, because the Korean legal system is messed up so much. What I liked the most, is that there wasn't a single character who was one dimensional or boring.

I'm sure, for most of you, Mokha and Kiho were the best couple, and it's not like I don't love them. Easily one of the best romantic couple of all time, probably! They really fought for each other, especially Kiho, but like Park Eun Bin said in an interview: "That's a fantasy!"🤣 I love fantasy, but what I LOVE THE MOST is when two women don't hate each other, they're not perfect, and don't want to kill each other for the most ridiculous reason.

THE BEST PART in Castaway Diva were Mokha and Ranjoo's sisterhood. Even if some people didn't understand it sometimes, they fought for each other like real sisters, NEVER wanted to betray each other for fame or money. I honestly don't want anything else, but seeing Park Eun Bin and Kim Hyo Jin winning "The best couple" award, because this year, there's no one who deserve it more!

I don't think anyone can write a review about a show with Park Eun Bin being the main lead, without mentioning the fact that she proved over and over for more than 20 years now, her versatile skills as an actress. Every time she's on the screen, the viewer is either crying or laughing, or both.😅 I honestly think that there's nothing she can't do. She was a wife and mother who fought for her family in a Joseon dynasty in 'Hur Jun, the Origin Story'. She was a troubled young adult in 'Age of Youth', a fierce warrior "King" in the 'The King's Affection', and a brilliant lawyer with ASD in the 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', and now: She's literally debuted as an Idol, and proved to everyone that she can win a Grammy for her singing skills too. If someone only watched Castaway Diva from her, I'm 110% sure, they will think, Park Eun Bin was an Idol first and became an actress later.

I have to mention the other actors too, especially the two young actors: Moon Woo Jin (as the young Kiho) and Lee Re (as the young Mokha), because without them, I don't think this show would be this good. They're THE MAIN REASON the 1st episode was PERFECT! Having acting skills like they have at a young age is probably a talent they were born with. Being kid actors is always hard, especially in Kdramas, but being in the same level with the adults is a talent that not everyone has.👏

Chae Jong Hyeop and Cha Hak Yeon proved again, they're not just pretty boys. The nuances in their acting, not something you can learn easily. A writer can write the best script in the world, but if the actors are not good enough, it's going to be a disaster.
The same goes for Kim Hyo Jin and Kim Joo Heon. Like I said, the characters aren't one dimensional, that's why sometimes you can hate them and a couple of minutes later you love them again. Especially after you realize why they're doing what they're doing.

I'm glad Hyo Jin's Ranjoo wasn't just a simple mentor or a finished article who's jealous of Mokha or Eun Morae. There's a good reason, Ranjoo was my favorite character after Mokha. I love characters with flaws, with real problems, and Ranjoo had everything. She proved that she's not a finished article, she was the best mentor and friend that a real fan like Mokha could ask for. Her story with her mother and with her mentor, and to be honest, a second dad, was the cherry on the top. Like I said, masterclass acting and writing! I don't think I will forget the scene where Ranjoo singing for her mother.

If we say, Kiho is the best boy that a girl can ask for, or as kids say it nowadays, a walking green flag, Daddy Kang was a whole forest with his forest fairy, Song Ha Jung. 😅 Daddy Kang (Lee Joong Ok) and Song Ha Jung's (Seo Jung Yeon) love story could probably top even Mokha and Kiho's. I don't think there's too many people who can endure the amount of pain and misery that they had to deal with. Living in fear for more than 15 years, raising two kid, dealing with judgmental people and still love each other and don't run away, instead fighting for their family. There's nothing harder than that.

Lee Seung Joon as Jung Bong Wan won't go down as the best person in the history of Kdramas, but the fact is that he's one of the best written antagonist. He wasn't a typical evil person who would do everything to achieve his goal. I don't think there will be a single person who will sympathies with him, but his character is a great example, what happens when you have too much power and freedom to do whatever you want. Even tho, he loved his family in his own way, it was one of the best representation of a toxic relationship, and they showed us why is it hard to leave people like him, even after so many years.

I have to mention the director and the writer too. Park Hye Ryun (writer) and Oh Choong Hwan (director) worked together once, but this time, in my humble opinion, they made something really SPECIAL that people won't forget for a very long time. I hope they will win something for their work, because they deserve it, BIG TIME!

I could talk about the Castaway Diva for a week, why everyone should watch it, but I don't want to waste your time with reading my novel, so just go, and watch Castaway Diva!😅

I'll end my review with my favorite line from the show. There were MANY, but this is probably the most meaningful of them all!

"- I guess it’s true that givers create takers. You were the one who was the giver, and I was the taker.
- Why are you a taker? You’re a gift."

A bit too much? Yes!

Honestly, I only watched this because I love Park Bo Young, but the first half of the season was funny and entertaining. Even tho it looked like it was made in the early 2000s.😅 The base of the story was great, but I was disappointed, because they didn't do anything with it. I mean, why she's so strong, where comes her power etc. The main characters, Bong Soon and Min Hyuk were great together. Bo Young and Hyung Sik had a great chemistry. It really is a feelgood show with some crime story in it. Nothing special, but overall, a decent drama. One of the most predictable drama too.

What I didn't liked, is the second part. The romance was good, but sometimes it was too childish, still it was funny. The biggest problem with this show is the writing. It was all over the place and over the top. One normal guy is smarter and tougher than anyone, basically. Also, this show should've been a 12 episode max. There were way too many filler episodes with the school kids and those mafia guys. I don't skip parts in anything, but this time I felt I have to because neither of those scenes added anything to the story. Not even the scene with Bong Soon's parents at the shop.

The love triangle was weird as hell, but I was happy that they didn't do the same cliché stuff, but I didn't like it when they started it again in the finale. It was 100% unnecessary, and also, childish.

Overall, it's a good, fun show, if you're not thinking about the plot too much. Park Bo Young is probably enough to carry the show until the finale.

Nothing is more dangerous than the delulu fangirls!

First of all, let's be clear! Not liking something is fine, but hate it for the SAME reason why you LOVED another show, is just DUMB as hell! You can read my review about Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, and you'll know what I mean.

All I can say, is that BOTH show is pretty much the same! Likable female leads, and basically every (mostly female) character is acting like a 5 year old. The ONLY thing that is better in Strong Girl Nam-Soon is the VFX! The story (in both) is the most basic thing you can see in your life. Predictable and sometimes too much and over the top. Especially in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. As much as I LOVE Park Bo Young, and Bong Soon with Min Hyuk, their romance was like it was written by a 12 year old girl. If I'm being honest, Nam Soon and Hee Shik's relationship was more mature. Not to mention, he wasn't a typical pretty boy, either. I'm honestly fed up with the same love stories where the girl is in love with a guy who's a GQ model. It's not realistic at all and boring. That being said, one of the best thing in SGNS was the 3rd episode with Bong Soon and Min Hyuk.

The reason I liked both show is that the main actors were great, and they carried the whole show. I could tear the story apart into pieces if I want to, because it was so dumb (again, in both show) I can't even describe it. But when the creators know that it's "bad" for a reason, it makes it better. Both show is like a parody. What makes SGNS story better is that the main villain is actually acting like a villain, and you can take him seriously. While in SWDBS he was a JOKE! Also, in Nam-Soon there wasn't too much filler either.

There's nothing much to say about this show, really, because it's fun if you're not thinking about the story at all, a typical guilty pleasure.

I don't want to offend anyone, but I read some review and comments, and most of them were said, it's so sad that they killed off Shi Oh, and he should've been with Nam Soon. Most of you only hate this show because you can't put aside your fangirl brain. The guy literally murdered hundreds of people, but you want him to be with Nam Soon, because you think he's a pretty boy? And people like those saying this a crap show.

So, in short, Strong Girl Nam-Soon, like its predecessor, it's a dumb show, but still fun if you won't take it seriously.
Lastly, I honestly think the creators should make a team-up in season 3 with Bong Soon and Nam-Soon, I didn't like that they made some random guy strong too.

If there's a typical SOAP OPERA style Kdrama, this is one of them.

This show is way too long for no reason, and the finale was irritating as hell. I hate when they're doing another totally unnecessary drama in the finale. The basic of the story was great, it had its potential, and even tho the acting was great, the writer should be ashamed of herself, honestly. Laziest writing every, probably. If this wouldn't be a show with Sejeong, I would've stopped watching it after episode 10 or so. Or even sooner.

I won't even bother to write more about it because it's frustrating and if the writer were lazy, why should I do more than her? All I can say: If you love Kim Sejeong, watch the show, she's great, but if you're not a fan of her, just skip it.

One of the most underrated shows on MDL!

No, I'm not exaggerating! I don't get why this show is disliked by so many people. It was an amazing feelgood, fun, slice of life drama about REAL PEOPLE with REAL STRUGGLES! Honestly, ONE OF THE BEST WRITTEN KDRAMA I'VE SEEN! Most people said, it's boring, nothing special and didn't had any romance at all. Why do you want to watch a show only for romance? Just because the main focus wasn't about romance, doesn't mean the drama is bad! The characters were fantastic and REAL! I know how it feels to pursue your dreams and most of the time fail. I wanted to be an athlete and later an artist. I still want to! Neither worked out so far, so I can understand the struggle. The show portrays PERFECTLY how it feels to lose your dream or just feel lost, alone. Also, it showed us why this industry is hard and most of the time companies only care about money. If you're an artist, or you had or have a dream, you're going to love this show, because it showed every aspect of the struggle that a person have when you try to achieve your goals.

Not to mention, that this drama is another one that portrays perfectly how toxic people can be, and they just want a new episode, but they don't even care about the artists. If they don't like something that they see, they will spread hate against them, and they don't care if they hurt them. They don't care how much work and time they put in their work, they think being toxic equals with fair criticism! Also, if some random person post lies about an artist online, people instantly believe it and they want to cancel them. That was so real, and I was so angry, because people are like that! So here's a quote from the Spider-Man movie that pretty much sums up this show and the so-called "fans"! They're hypocrites!

"THE ONE THING THEY LOVE MORE THAN A HERO IS TO SEE A HERO FAIL, FALL, DIE TRYING. IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE FOR THEM, EVENTUALLY, THEY WILL HATE YOU."

Kim Sejeong were absolutely perfect in this role!!! Even tho Ma Eum was strong in the outside she wasn't flawless, she was a real human. If you only like perfect people who never make mistakes, don't waste your time on this show. This show is for those who want to see a story about real people with real struggles, and Ma Eum was just one of them. Basically, every character on this show had their own problems that they had to deal with.

I saw someone said, Ma Eum didn't really care about Dae Ryuk. Well, all I can say is that you watched the show with the blindfold on. Ma Eum literally cared about everything and everyone! Especially her artists, and Dae Ryuk! He's story was unique and the way they wrote it was surprising even. I honestly didn't think it's going to be like that. His relationship with Ma Eum was PHENOMENAL! Everyone need a friend like her! I didn't read his Webtoon, we only see a glimpse of it and still, when we saw how his latest chapter ended, I was like Ma Eum! It felt like I was with him in his journey. There's not a lot of show that made me feel the same way.

My only problem with the show is that sometimes it felt like there's a love triangle, but they didn't do much with that. So it was weird.

I could mention like 5 other side-story, because the backstory of some side characters were amazing, but I don't want to write a whole book about it and spoil it for those who didn't see the show yet.

PS: This show screams for season 2 or even more, because this is the story that you can continue for a long time, and it's still feel fresh!

Another disappointment!

Honestly, it was a good show... until they ruined it. I mean, I don't mind if it's not a happy ending, but for the love of God, if you want to include fantasy elements like time travel, at least try to do something with it. Literally nothing was explained. It's like the whole show was a dream. This is the most irritating trope, honestly.

This show was like: "How not to write a show 101." I get that characters need obstacles so they can learn something and grow, but making the dumbest mistakes is just lazy writing. Honestly, I don't think I would've watch more than 10 episodes without IU and Lee Joon Gi.

Only average!

It started pretty well, but overall it's just average. I think 78 episodes is way too much. The acting is good, but the writing could've been better. There's like 3 or 4 characters who's actually good, but basically everyone makes dumb decisions. I think 40 episodes would've been enough. Also, the fight scenes, especially in the war scenes, are hard to watch because there are too many cuts. Most of the time it doesn't feel like a war, I didn't felt anything except when a main character did something. Overall, it's not a bad drama but without Chae Shi Ra, I don't think I would finish it. She's literally carrying the whole show. The music and the score aren't the best also. There were a couple of great score, but that's all, honestly.

A feelgood, fun show, but that's all!

It was nothing special, to be honest. Sure, there was some really good storyline, the whole X story was good and most characters were great too, but that's all. It doesn't want to be more than it is, and that sometimes isn't a bad thing, but if you include bullying, fraud and other important storylines, you have to do something with them. Honestly, the only story that was well written is the X story. They didn't do much with the bullying girls, for example. I liked that some bullies, like Bo Ra's friend, wasn't that bad, but still, I don't like that basically no one got the well deserved punishment. Poor girl had to endure so many sh*t and every bully just moved on? Why, because nobody cared. The policewoman was just there for romance purpose, basically. Also, the accident with the bus was really bad. I mean, everyone looked like if they crashed with a truck. Not to mention, when the girls were fighting, they didn't do much, and still they looked like MMA fighters after a match.😅 Lastly, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't a single kiss scene. I mean, I get that 18-year-olds maybe don't want to kiss, but what about the adults! They acted like teens, too.

Other than that, this is a good show, Eun Ho and Tae Woon were really great together, not a typical couple for sure.
Sejeong's obviously stole the whole show, and her aegyo is legendary for a reason.🤣

Like I said, it's nothing special, but still worth watching it. Sometimes it feels good to watch a random show that turns off your brain for 16 hours.

Cliché, BUT good!

'A Business Proposal' is THE prime example of how you should write a cliché story! I mean, this show didn't change the genre or the world, BUT the fact that every episode contained more cliché than other shows in 16 episode overall and still remained good, says a LOT about the writers! Only for this, it's worth a 6/10 rating. I didn't mention the fantastic acting, OST and the direction! The use of editing and VFX is one of the best I've seen so far! I don't want to speak too much about the story because it's a typical love story, and let's be honest, it's not good because of the story, it's good because of the way they made it. People who didn't watch it yet, will love it more if they will know most important thing about this show: It's basically a parody of the romcom genre!

My only complaint, as usual, is that the finale was a complete MESS! Never going to understand why they want to finish the story in almost every KDrama in the finale, when they obviously don't have enough time for that. Also, I'm not familiar with the Manhwa, but I know that the show didn't cover half of the story. That's why I'm still hoping that they will do a 2nd season someday, but they probably won't, because if they would want to, we would've heard about that now.

Cringe as hell!

I only watched this because I love Moon Chae Won. Honestly, people tend to give a better score than they should because they love the actors or something on the show is cute. This show has an average story, the writing is bad, the acting was average at best, thanks to the director, and I don't think I liked any of these characters. I don't give a damn about who's going to end up with whom. If your main focus is that, you don't care about the story, that simple. I only care about the story, and the main story started at episode 14 or so. This should've been a 2-hour-long movie! Every other episode was pointless to be honest. The story had a good potential, but they only did something with it in the final two episodes. The whole show was cringe as hell. Also, I know this is just a drama, and they didn't have a big budget, but if you don't have enough money, why are you even using these crappy looking CGI cats, dragons, tigers? They used CGI even when it wasn't necessary. I love comedy and all but 90% of the time it wasn't funny at all, just cringe. I literally skipped every scene with Ok Nam's 3 friend, because they were so bad and irritating. Not to mention the lab guys and that idiot Lee Ham Sook. Anyone who says this show should have a better rating, should be banned from this site, because they're the reason that 90% of the shows on MDL are overrated! Seriously, why are you guys giving higher score for shows just because you love the actors, or you think something or someone is cute?

One of the worst drama I watched so far.

Almost perfect?

Well, it's really hard to write anything about this drama at this moment because I just finished it, so my thoughts are all over the place. But one thing is fore sure: This show needs one or two simple fixes, and it would be perfect. The first half of the season was but slow and sometimes over the top, and I really needed some explanation, that I've got much later. Also, I felt the ending was a bit rushed. These two things aside, it's pretty much perfect. The writing, the OST, the directing, (except the weird look of the flashback scenes) and of course THE ACTING! Holy Mother of Jesus, the acting in this drama is something else. Sure, some people could say I'm a huge IU fan but man, if this drama would be an American show, she would've won an Emmy for her acting! Lee Sun Kyun and IU carried this show like it was nothing. Also, the supporting cast was amazing too. I really loved the brothers, even tho, sometimes I wanted to slap them so hard.😅 I don't think I will ever forget Lee Ji Ahn and her sweet relationship with her grandma. I was so angry when she died, but it was great to see everyone support and love Ji Ahn. After 21 YEARS, she can be happy finally!!! And thank God for the happy ending, even tho it was rushed, like I said.

This show is a MUST for everyone!!!
