Sweets and almost romance

I decided to watch this because the comments and reviews said it's good.
Is it good? Kinda. I'm not disappointed with the ending because all my expectations were destroyed in the middle.
The last few episodes felt like a chore, I only enjoyed the opening song and that's one of the reasons why I finished this drama.

Story
It's a lot of things smashed together. Everything would be resolved if they talked to each other or stopped jumping to conclusions.
It starts out fun, I really liked the beginning and the characters but the more story went on, the more boring it became.
Some things would get repetitive and other things feel like they are there for the sake of drama and not the actual plot. Like the final conflict, why couldn't we get cute scenes with them working together and not a 'jumping to conclusions not letting the other person finish what they are saying break up'.
It's not all bad. The relationship between the sisters was cute and the romance was cute in the first four episodes.

I don't like Hinoyama, I didn't like him from the beginning to the end. He looks blank all the time. A big portion of the story was about him and Hina and I felt really frustrated watching them. She married him to run away but later she suddenly loves him, where did that come from? I have no clue why she started to like him, they didn't have one normal conversation. Their whole marriage is messy even though it's happy at the end. I feel like it's shallow and they don't like each other so the happy end didn't make sense to me.

Ken seems nice but he is also a messy character. He likes Arare and goes after her at the beginning but when she tells him her feelings he runs away and then rejects her. He has his reasons but he still hurt her a lot with his good intentions. And when they finally get together and are happy, something happens, they break up and get together in the last few minutes of the last episode.
Their bickering was funny and this couple was the most interesting one.

Hana and Iori, the third couple, they were cute but their story was fast paced and not fleshed out enough.

Almost every character made my blood boil at some point in the story.
Well, there were some fun and cute moments so there's balance.

The opening song slaps, if anything watch it for the opening and ending song. Soon you won't stop hearing You are beautiful on repeat in your brain.

The sweet making and the traditional part of the story were interesting, it would be cool if the story focused more on that.

Overall, it was a hot mess.
I have mixed feelings about this drama, it was good and bad and it made me frustrated and bored many times but I still watched the whole thing.
Would I recommend it? I don't know, it's up to different tastes.

The student voices should be heard

This was fun. It's fast paced and interesting. I started watching it randomly and I finished it in one day.

The story
It's a school story that revolves around different characters. Pretty much all of them are bad in some way and Teacher Onizuka changes them.
He does things on impulse but all of them turn out good at the end. There is a pattern in the story, something bad happens, Onizuka first doesn't care, then he does something random and the problem is solved and never addressed again.
Many things are glossed over, the fact he went to a love hotel with a student (even though he did nothing, it's wrong), he got stabbed and that was never mentioned again. He says he respects women but keeps looking up their shirts.
The fun part of the story are students problems and how they slowly start to trust Onizuka.

The characters
All of them suck. I guess that's what people are, bad and good at the same time but here the teachers did some disturbing things.
The kids were bitter and I understand that but I can't understand the teachers.

Uchiyamada - always plotting something and wanting to be a principal. He is annoying through the whole drama.

Nakamata - he wouldn't be that bad if there was not that one scene where a student accidentally sends him a love letter and he is happy to get it. He even imagines kissing the student. Yuck.

Kotani - always putting other women down. She keeps talking how women should marry and have kids like that's the only thing they should do. It got really annoying.

Hakamada - he seemed fishy from the beginning, he was always bubbly and a typical stereotype of PE teacher in anime but he is actually shallow. He wants the students to tell him their problems but when one said no, he beat him up. His whole personality was a facade.

Teshigawa - full of complexes. He puts sleeping pills in Fuyutsuki's drink and wants to sleep with her. He is a stalker and a creep. There is no excuse for his disgusting behavior.

Yes, these characters suck and I had to vent but watch the drama for the good characters (Onizuka, Fuyutsuki and the students). Also there are many heartwarming and cute moments.

Onizuka - he wants to help his students and to be a good teacher. Even though he does some stupid things and he doesn't think much about his actions, sometimes someone like that is needed.

Fuyutsuki - she is a good teacher, she tries her best even though she can't do much sometimes. It's sad to watch her be helpless when she wants to help the students and Onizuka. She is my favorite character.

Onizuka solved some of the students problems through extreme measures thet could lead to disasters (but didn't) and I understand why everyone likes him. He pushes them forward.
There was parent drama, bullying, too smart for school, some fights, a lot of interesting stuff.
It wasn't really dark, there is a lot of comedy and funny faces.

Realistically there are a lot flaws in this drama, so why did I give it an 8?
Well, I liked it. It had a nice message. The student voices should be heard and the teachers should protect the students.

An unexpected hero

I had fun watching this.

Story
After all the torture they put him through I thought he would gladly take revenge but he didn't. He is one of those characters who have morals and conscience.
The story is not developed enough and the characters don't have personalities.
It's fun to watch as something where you turn off your brain.

Things I liked
- The music.
- Creativity in fight scenes. They can't die so it's interesting to watch them fight. There are no limits, they shot themselves and start again.
- The concept of Ajin.
- Cinematography, it's pretty.
- The ending. It's awesome.

That's it. It's a pretty movie without much story and depth.

Things that could have been better
- The characters are one dimensional. They have no personality or character development.
- Nagai starts as a confused and weak guy but by the end of the movie he can fight and he is a great strategist. When did that happen?
We see him train but it's short and not enough to convince us that he can take on Satou who has way more experience than him.
- The sister subplot just takes time and makes no sense. She didn't serve any purpose in the story.
- Why is the bodyguard on human side protecting the bad guy?
- That one scene where the guy dies and Nagai is super sad. Why? Just why? I don't care about that guy, why are you trying to make it emotional? Why should Nagai care about him when he was one of the guys who tortured him. Just kill him and move on, don't try to make it emotional.
- Satou's plan. Why couldn't he just take revenge on people who hurt him? At the end he didn't do anything and that made me sad. I wanted the glasses guy to suffer.

Overall, a cool movie. I think it's worth watching.
It would be nice if there is a sequel because there is so much potential in the story.

Why is it not raining?

I started watching this because the title is cool.

Story
The story is fun to watch. It focuses a lot on what humans did to earth, all the bad things.
The ending is technically happy but I felt something was missing. They are together and happy but it's my pet peeve when characters forget what happened to them and live a happy life. That makes me pissed off. I watched these characters grow and learn on their journey and now they don't remember any of that, how is it still them? It makes it seem like the journey was unnecessary and the bond they made is lost. It just doesn't feel right.

Thing's I liked
- The gods, they were the best part.
- The bromance between Orad and Li Pu Hui.
- Fali seems a little fruity.
- Toem and her backstory.
- Orad and his character development.
- The plot twists at the end.
- The stories at the beginning of every episode.
- Because I'm almighty I'm powerless. That quote stayed in my mind.
- OST is beautiful.
- Romance was slow burn and cute.
- To be honest I was more interested in the story about kawas than the romance.
- The reason why Kakarayan doesn't want to bless Earth anymore.
- What is real and what is fake?
- What happens when a lie is found out?
- Orad is my favorite character, he was cute whenever he smiled and made it rain.

Overall, I like this drama a lot even if it has it's flaws.

They are heroes

This was so cute, fun and serious at the same time.
This is the longest drama I watched and finished so I'm proud because I mostly can't watch long dramas, I get distracted or bored towards the end. Sometimes it seems like a big commitment so I don't even start them.

The beginning episodes were slow, the ones where they train, I was waiting for something interesting to happen. Then the middle was fun and I got bored around ep 32 where two evil sisters appear wanting to destroy our main characters happiness. I thought instead of that they should have put another case where they save lives.
The ending is happy and cute, a little rushed with a case that lasts one episode. I think it's there to show their growth and make things dramatic but they already went through so much, they deserve a little bit of happiness and peace.

Thing's I liked
- The characters, I liked everyone except two sisters that show up towards the end.
- The relationships between the characters, the friendship, it was so cute and heartwarming.
- Mi Ka and Ke Lei being a healthy couple that talks about their problem's.
- Shu Wen Bo and Qing Xia being a chaotic couple.
- Shao and Ke Yao slowly getting together.
- Ke Yao is cool as a sister and as a friend.
- The cases where they save lives, they were well done.
- Showing the importance of police and doctors.
- The comedy, I laughed so much watching this.

Overall, it's an okay story with great characters.

A curse or a gift, it's our choice

This was so fun to watch.
Some things were predictable but I still wanted to see how they would turn out.
It's not perfect but it got better with every episode.

Story
I really like fantasy and this kind of world building. It's simple but interesting.
This part is the beginning where we see how it all started and it did it's job, it made me want to watch more.

Thing's I liked
- Eun Seom and Tanya, they are so cute together.
- The legend of their birth.
- The story went from super dark to cute to super dark again.
- How the heroes never gave up.
- The horse, even the horse was cool.
- I didn't like Tagon and I don't think I will like him till the end but he is an interesting character.
- The supporting characters are awesome and many of them became my favorite characters. Moo Baek showed up for a super short amount of time and I somehow ended up liking him, I hope he switches sides.
- Fight scenes.
- CGI and the world building.
- Costumes.
- Cinematography.
- How there are many villains, I feel like everyone on Saram side sucks. They will destroy themselves before any of the other characters get to take revenge.

Great watch for fantasy lovers.
I'm excited to watch the next part.

Are we just our DNA or something more?

It's a movie that makes you think. It's fast paced and interesting but I feel like the ending could have been better.

Thing's I liked
- The plot twist at the end, some people said they saw it coming but I didn't.
- Chase scenes.
- Detective actually being smart and trying to work with Kagura.
- The difference between Kagura and Ryu.
- The DNA aspect, nature vs nurture.

Thing's I thought could have been better
- The ending, I thought Kagura was kinda useless at the end.
- The villain, I predicted who it was, the big reveal wasn't really that big.
- The problem with DNA program, it was cliche, it's realistic but I expected something different.

Overall, an enjoyable movie, I liked it.

That one joke that made me laugh for way longer than I should

This is a comedy, not a crime mystery (a little bit of that). It was fun to watch.
The jokes in the first half of the movie didn't make me laugh but the second part was so funny. The jokes got better and their execution was done well.

Story
The story is predictable but enjoyable. It's hard to lose weight and that was shown through the characters. They don't need to change if they don't want to.
The important thing is that they are happy, healthy and able to do their job.
Side plot was catching the thieves, nothing was ever serious and even that was done in a comedic way.
But me being me, always looking for a deeper meaning tried to guess who is the villain for half of the movie. I wanted to laugh at myself after he was revealed.
My point is that there is no deeper meaning behind the villain, just enjoy the movie.

A fun fruit smoothie

The story of orange, banana and apple. It was hilarious how the story seemed to get more complicated the longer it went on.
I have to say, everyone in this drama is gorgeous, I could stare at them for the whole day.
Especially Qian Qian's mother, she slayed the look.

Story
I watched ep 1-10 in one night, ep 11-17 fast forward button and I became best friends and ep 18-24 were back on track without any boring moments.
I appreciate the writers for giving us a happy ending because they could have broken our hearts.
The story was fun to watch even though second hand embarrassment hit me sometimes. The characters were smart most of the time and they communicated with each other. The misunderstandings were resolved quickly and the solutions to problems were creative.
The strongest point of the whole story were the characters, everyone was likeable. Qian Qian's mother was supportive, Han Shuo's parents were hilarious, the servants Zi Rui and Bai Ji were the highlight of some scenes.

Characters
Qian Qian, always up to no good. Her plans are messy but somehow they work. When she lies, she doesn't lie small. When she makes a mess, she makes it so nobody could fix it. And I liked that and I liked her character, all those things are what makes her so fun to follow.
Han Shuo, a super patient man. He first gave her his heart and then everything else. He started out as a cold character but soon became the most soft and cute one.
Their relationship was complicated but at the end of the day, they trusted and loved each other and that helped them through tough times.
ChuChu, super selfish and entitled princess. She could have had it all but she destroyed it herself. Her true colors showed when the first real problem came up.
Pei Heng, dude, she's just not into you. I don't know how many times Qian Qian told him she wants them to be friends but it was more than once. He gave some cool advice though.

Things I liked
ChuChu slowly becoming evil.
Su Mu and Yuan Yuan's romance, her wishes.
The orange, banana and apple, that's golden in itself.
The storytellers wanting to kill characters, they were really consistent with that.
Han Shuo and Qian Qian trying to kill each other for half of the drama.
Lin Qi and Qian Qian becoming frenemies.
Han Shuo's mom holding divorce papers in her sleeve.
Meng Guo's letters when he followed Han Shuo.
Han Shuo and Qian Qian struggling to kiss, they struggled more for that than for their whole relationship.

Things I didn't like
Surviving few slow episodes.
This is not really a super deep story and it doesn't present itself in that way so anyone who wants to watch it should have that in mind.

Leave the logic out of the door and enjoy the ride.

A warm blanket

I have seen this drama in recommended a few times but I always avoided it. Why? I don't know, it just looked complicated and not to my taste but I was wrong.
I watched it in two days and had fun.

Story
Small conflicts are introduced at the beginning of the episode and solved by the end, nothing dragged.
What connected all those small conflicts was an overarching story between Sumire and Momo.
You could say their relationship is weird but it was what they needed.
Momo needed someone who would tell him he is a good boy, who would show him warmth and Sumire needed someone to open up about her troubles and cry.
The progress of their relationship was nicely done. It was fluffy and I smiled a lot while watching it.

Characters
Sumire was my favorite character, she knows how to defend herself and she is strong but even if she is strong, it doesn't mean nothing bothers her. She overthinks and breaks down many times but she gets up and tries to do better.
Momo was so cute. My favorite parts were when we saw him as Takeshi, how differently he behaves. While watching you would think what would make him accept being someone's pet but after a while it's clear he wants to have a home and someone who sees him as he is. Not as someone perfect but as a person with flaws.
Hasumi was meh. I didn't like him but I didn't hate him. He felt like a male version of Sumire, good looks, school and income but he couldn't give her emotional support she needed and I think she felt that so she never really opened up to him. There was always a wall while they were together. She always felt exhausted after being with him.
I think even if Momo was not there, the two of them wouldn't last long.

Things I didn't like
Blatant misogyny, both men and women treated Sumire like trash because she was smart and independent, they made it seem like a bad thing.
Psychiatrist sometimes gave good advice and sometimes I wanted to hit him with a brick.
Sumire not getting rid of Momo while dating Hasumi or getting rid of Hasumi and staying with Momo. I understand she is bad at expressing her feeling and that it was done to show the difference between what she thinks is love and what was actually love but I still felt icky a few times.
Hasumi being super naive and pushy at times.
Fukushima being desperate and chasing after Hasumi after he said he doesn't like her.
But all of those were tiny parts of the story that could be skipped and ignored for the sake of enjoying the story.

I would rewatch this if I need something cute with fun story and characters.

Momo barking was definitely the funniest thing ever.

It was pink while it was someone else's but then it turned gray

I saw a comment where a person said this was their favorite movie and that's why I watched it.

Did it become my favorite movie? No.
Did I like it? Yes.

Story
I was a little confused at first but I understood it at the end.
First, I didn't like any of the characters, they are all bad in some way but I'm not saying that's bad. They have flaws, they do stupid things.
I liked the first part of the movie more than the second but both of them were great. I think the second part showed the characters as they are while the first part was more what they are supposed to be.
Since the first part was the story and the second part was the reality I wondered how much of the story was real and how much was fake.
The bromance was interesting, I thought the bl fan in me looked too much into it but some scenes looked like they will escalate into something more. They were close and the chemistry was there. Those were my favorite scenes because the emotions were the best then. Especially the one when they see each other again after a long time.
There was a lot of subtext, things were hinted but never actually said. I think the whole movie is open for interpretation and there could be many meanings.

And at the end I think everyone will find their answer.

Action with a sprinkle of family drama

I was bored and I went through the tv channels which I rarely do and I stopped at this movie.
It was a scene from the middle of the movie where they were running between cars and one dude attacked another but stopped because the other dude said - I'm your younger brother.
That interested me and I watched the whole movie.

Story
The story is simple, evil dudes want to put virus into the world so they could sell vaccines and get rich.
The funny thing is that our main characters didn't really want to fight the evil dudes, one wanted to find his brother while the other wanted to make money but everything went south.
It was pretty much two brothers against the world.
The action was awesome, they were running, fighting, shooting, everything is included and executed well.
The movie wasn't short on emotions, I liked how the brothers reunited and helped each other.

The first scene of the movie was my favorite scene and it sums up the feeling this movie gave me.
"These few years I keep having the same dream. I'm struggling in the water. It's so cold. But when I'm about to drown an arm reaches out to me and pulls me up. But I can never see who he is. I only feel the arm and its power. Somehow it feels close to my heart. I need to know who he is."

It was so forgettable it made me question my memory

I watched this movie three times. Why? Because I completely forgot about it.

I watched it the first time. Okay movie. Completely erased it from my mind until it was on tv again and it looked interesting so I put it on. I didn't remember I actually watched it but it seemed familiar like a plot of a movie I watched and then I realized it was the same movie.
Some time passed and it was on tv again, I forgot about it again, realized I watched it halfway through the movie.

And I think I have a good memory. Not when it comes to this movie.
I can't say I hate it because that would mean I feel something towards this movie which I don't.

Story
Murders happen, they try to solve it. There is a lot of comedy in this movie, some jokes were good, some not.
Action was fine, but when the fights start to get good something interrupts them and that was a little bit irritating.

Actors
I will be honest, I watched this because I like Jet Li but there are definitely better movies to watch him.
I think all of the cast did a great job with what they had to work with.

I guess the rewatch value I put is wrong because I watched this movie so many times. I finally remembered it but at what cost?

Who is the monster?

I think this is the first time where I liked every character.

Story
It's unpredictable till the end. I even wanted to look up spoilers but I stopped myself and I'm glad I did.
I predicted who sent the letters and who was the killer but those were easy things, what I didn't see coming was the ending.
I don't know what to say about it. I kinda liked it and I kinda didn't. For all that amazing build up it could have been better.
And that one gigantic plot hole at the end... It didn't ruin the story but it didn't make it better.
First seven episodes are a 10 and the last one is an 8 but I still liked the drama.
It's definitely worth watching and even though the ending could be better it's not disappointing. It gets a satisfying conclusion.
The part about everything being an experiment and the question: Are monsters made or born?
The sins of the kids weren't big, you can't even call those things sins.
So I would say the experiment failed and they are not monsters.
Someone might say they are, maybe it depends on how much we like the characters.
I liked the cinematography and the music, it made the story even better.
Every dialogue and scene is important.
The characters are three dimensional with flaws.
The best thing, there is a bunch of plot twists that make sense, they are not there for the sake of surprising the watcher.
Another thing is that we find out everything with the characters, we are never given more information than them. That means we solve the mystery with them.

The characters
- Moo Yul - the leader. At the beginning he is someone perfect, other's rely on him, they think he will solve everything but soon we see he is not perfect. I liked how even though he was desperate and it was hard, he still helped others when he could just choose to save himself. He has a hero syndrome as the annoying psychologist would say.

- Chi Hoon - the smart guy. At the beginning he seems cold and arrogant, it looks like he doesn't care about others but later we see he is a nice guy. He just thinks logically.
If he was the killer, they would have all been dead in one episode.

The whole group has two braincells and it's those two.

- Young Jae, the bully. He annoyed me the most. He jumps to conclusions and doesn't want to listen to others. He would solve every problem by beating people up. He pretends to be strong and scary when he is not. But he broke down and we saw he was weak, he just wanted to protect himself.
Still not an excuse for his shitty behavior.
The line - It's okay when others hate me but it's different when I hate myself. - That's when I started to kinda like him. Just a little bit.

- Yoon Soo, the quiet guy. His past is messy and his memory is messy. He sees a monster in the corner. He carries a lot of trauma that he didn't properly deal with. He follows what others do and just drops random clues about things.

- Eun Sung, the only girl. She is not happy anymore and she doesn't know why. She first wants to die but then does everything to survive. She is broken and scared but she still flights.

- Jae Kyu, the invisible guy. At the beginning he didn't stand out like the others. He just blended with the background but the more we saw him, the more we found out about him. At the end he was very visible and important.
At some point he looked kinda insane (that scene was amazing) but he came to his senses.

- Kang Mo, the weak guy. At the beginning he seems weak, he gets bullied and suspected by others. In reality he is not weak, he is strong and brave. He makes mistakes but never gives up.

- Mi Reu, the scary guy. I see a pattern, they are shown as something in the first episode but we see their real colors later. This guy is not scary. He is smart and funny.

- Psychologist, I could write an essay about him but I don't like him so I won't.

This drama is awesome. I recommend it for anyone who likes character driven stories and psychology. It's dark and maybe disturbing to some but I liked it.
It will probably stay in my mind for a very long time.
