Piano Teacher, Good Wife, Trash Husband and Mistress

I watched this because the episodes are short and sometimes I like to watch dramas that get to the point. This one had many points. :")

Let me try to describe the plot: Wife and Trash Husband are married, he wants her to sleep with some creepy dude so creepy dude would invest in his company. She doesn't want that so he works with Piano Teacher to make it look like she's cheating on him and get divorce because he has a Mistress. Plot twist Mistress and Piano Teacher work together, plot twist Piano Teacher wants revenge, plot twist Piano Teacher now likes the Wife, plot twist Mistress now works against Piano Teacher... You get the point, it's like that till the end.

Honestly, it's entertaining. It's so bad it's good. The characters are fun. When you think that's the lowest they can go, they can go lower.

Wife:
- FL
- You think she is naive but she is not. She screwed them so nicely.
- She does have her stupid moments like going to see the Mistress alone but it's fine. She has more smart than stupid moments.
- I like how she didn't forgive the husband and she saw him for what he is, trash.
- When she told Mistress that she is now responsible for Trash Husband and his mother and they are her hell now, badass.
- If he treated me like that, what makes you think he will treat you differently? *Chefs kiss when she said that.

Trash Husband (let's just go though all the shitty stuff he did because he makes me so angry):
- Told his Wife to go and sleep with creepy dude so he would give him money.
- Set the Wife up that she is cheating so he could take the kid.
- Cheated on the Wife with the Mistress.
- Took the kid.
- Married said Mistress and called Wife to the wedding.
- Got into debt and pinned everything to Mistress.
- Beat up Mistress.
- Told Mistress to sleep with creepy guy so he could get money.
- Blackmailed Wife with their kid to sleep with creepy guy for money.
- He is also responsible for things in the past if what he did in the present isn't enough.
- I think I missed some stuff but every time he opens his mouth or even moves, he does something shitty.
- Ohhh, I remember the moment when he cemented himself as trash at the beginning. He said to his wife he can have ten years younger Mistress because he is the man and that will elevate his status but she can't have a younger guy because she is the mother of his child and that will ruin her image. He also said when the younger guy gets into his prime, he will leave her like he did. Wow, what trash.

Piano Teacher:
- ML
- Good? Bad? Anything is good next to Trash Husband, I will take it.
- He is first working with Trash Husband to make it like Wife is cheating.
- Later, we found out everything he did is for revenge.
- It's fine, even when he is working against Wife, he is helping her.
- He always saves her and he is cute.
- The funny thing is how he spawn's into scenes. Doors, what's that? There's a scene where he takes her home and then when Trash Husband opens the door, he is gone. How?????? The window????? I have no clue.
- Whenever Wife is in trouble, he appears out of thin air.
- He does leave out of the door so that's something.
- The angst with him and Wife was a nice spice to the story, I liked it.

Mistress:
- The definition of you reap what you sow.
- She married Trash Husband for money but ended up in debt.
- Obsessed with Piano Teacher when he doesn't even want to look her way.
- Asks for help from Wife but then betrays her instantly.
- Little less trashy than Trash Husband but just a little.

Overall, I recommended it if you want to watch something dramatic. Something where you will laugh even though it's not comedy.

Dream or reality???

Let's be honest, this is probably not a 9 drama (at this point I rate dramas on vibes). The production value is low and the acting is bad but there's something that pulled me to binge watch this drama. It's entertaining.

The story is a bit predictable but it works. Who is the killer? We find out in the last episode.

In this drama everyone is trash and when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. When you think they can't go lower, they can. The bar is below hell.

We have trio fantastico, the villains. Win's father, Feye's father and Suea's father. All three of them suck. I do like how it's shown they have things they care about and want to protect, they are also not evil just for the sake of being evil, they went through some messed up stuff. There are layers to them. I also like how the drama didn't use that to excuse their shitty actions. They choose to be shitty.

The mystery. There's not a lot to say about it. The whole story involves an Island with a bunch of shitty people and a group of young traumatized people trying to uncover the truth with the power of friendship.

Main characters rated by their coolness:
1. Aya - Can't differentiate dreams from reality, constantly tired and confused but never gives up.
2. Mo - First impression was jealous girlfriend but second impression was a badass. She is smart and she takes no shit from anyone. I like how she didn't let Win be in her way, she wanted to find out the truth and she found out the truth.
3. Not a main character but still a cool character, police officer Tle - He is cool headed and he helped Aya whenever she was in trouble. I kinda shipped them but I don't mind that there was no romance.
4. Suea - He is a guy that easily believes anyone. He wanted to be on Aya's side but he also wanted to believe in his father so things were complicated for him. I like that he was honest even when he was doing the wrong things.
5. Feye - First impression bitchy, second impression brave. She is a strong woman.
6. Win - I didn't like this dude at the beginning. Why? I don't have a good reason, I just didn't like him. He always seemed shady and like he will betray his friends at any moment.
7. Yok - I thought she is naive but she is not. I thought she would be easiest to blackmail but I forgot people can be selfish and do things for themselves.

The ending is satisfying but then the plot twist hits. I don't think there will be a second season but it's fine. The plot twist doesn't ruin the drama, it just proves everyone is indeed shitty.

Would I recommend it? Yes. It's a mess but it's an entertaining mess.

This love needs CPR

FL sucks and it's okay if a character sucks but she should get some character development. I'm not saying she didn't get character development, she did, but it was sudden and it didn't make sense.
She only cared about herself and she repented at the end, when everything escalated.

She also approached ML with ulterior motives but then she fell in love with him and forgot about that. Honestly, I'm glad she did because if she asked ML to sue the guy after they were together (in love and happy), I don't think a truck of character development could make anyone like her.

The romance was cute but rushed, one moment ML is thinking of his dead wife and crying and the next he is kissing the FL.

Then they break up at some point and after that, the movie became more stupid but also more entertaining. One example, a bunch of concrete fell on ML but he is completely fine after that and running around. A bunch of concrete never fell on me but I think that's unrealistic.

Also, what was the point of FL being sick. It did nothing except make her faint at very convenient times.

Despite the garbage plot, the leads kissing and being cute together made me smile. The side characters are also nice, no one was annoying.

Overall, it's an okay movie. There's some humor and cute romance at times.

Does true love exist?

That's the whole premise of the movie. The deities bet if it exists or not by cursing a random human child.

Sangui is adorable and you just want all the good things to happen to him but the poor guy is cursed and only trouble finds him. He wants to find his first love but he is scared because he thinks she thinks he is a freak so he first wants to break the curse.

On his journey, he meets this weird girl obsessed with wanting to find a cursed prince and becoming a princess. I genuinely though she might kill him at some point while she tries to break the curse. She took the break part quite literally. I liked how they resolved this, it was cute.

Then he meets a witch but she is not actually a witch, she just can't sleep. I loved their friendship and the way they helped each other. He helped her sleep and heal and she showed him his curse is not that bad.
Regret is also a curse. I loved that line.
Her story is beautifully heartbreaking.

I like how everything is connected in this movie with lines we might not notice immediately.

The whole movie has a soothing and warm vibe. The music is beautiful and fairytale like. I can't explain how much I like music in this movie.

This is not a romance movie, it's a movie about healing and finding yourself.

Overall, I recommend it. It's cute.

It's called forbidden zone for a reason

I watched this randomly, it's not bad. It's actually entertaining but I didn't like it. I didn't like the main character and I didn't like the story but I still watched the whole thing and I think it's decent.

The CGI is great and the fight scenes are interesting.

The main character is weak at the beginning and then suddenly he is over powered at the end.

There's this one scene where they try to stop the rock with swords and it reminds me of the scene in Guardians of the Galaxy where they try to stop the ship with the net made of robots. It kinda looked like that and it was funny for no reason.

It's a typical story, the main character is special but he doesn't see it until all of his friends die. I'm not joking all of them die (except one and you will know immediately who that one is). I actually started playing a game Who is going to die next? while I was watching. I managed to guess every time. Yay for me, nay for the characters.

My favorite character was the villain, the black haired one. I hate how he didn't get his cool moment and power at the end. I get the point, he was greedy and that destroyed him but I still wanted to see him kick the main characters ass.

The main character is as interesting as a broom. His power never works when someone is dying and at the end he annoyed me with how happy he was that he defeated the villain. I know, I'm slandering him a lot but I don't care. I don't like him.

Overall, it's meh. Watch it and you might (not) like it.

Once upon a (badly executed) crime

It's a good movie if you want to pass some time and have nothing better to do.

It starts out very slow and it picks up the pace around 30 min mark.

It's a classic Cinderella story with a twist, instead of a love story, we get a murder story and Red Hood is a detective.

When they were discussing who is the murderer at the ball, it was so funny. He is the murderer because of that. She is the murderer because of that. One solid evidence and you are done even if you didn't do it. And at the end, the King just let them all go home even though they didn't catch the murderer.

What's the point of the story? Well, the story relies on this one plot twist at the end to carry the whole story. It's a good plot twist but something was lacking. The ending felt incomplete. Cinderella was bullied her whole life and then when she trusted one person, it turned out to be a creepy dude. I'm not saying what she did is not wrong but it should have been wrapped up differently. There was no message at the end, just a plot twist.

Beauty is not everything? If they wanted that to be a message, they did a really bad job.

Bum, plot twist, be surprised. They did decent with that.

Overall, it has some fun and interesting moments and the costumes are pretty.

Everyone is crazy

A little slow and confusing at the beginning (around 30 min) but after that it's a fast paced ride till the end.

I would lie if I said I liked this movie for the plot, it's interesting, it's fun but it's predictable. The heart thing, the son thing, I saw them coming early on. The real plot twist would be that the Nobleman is the real son but from what we saw, he is not (it was not shown or said).

Marco is your basic main character, he has no clue what's happening and he is just trying to survive. He has a sad backstory, he is strong, etc. Mostly, he is there to be chased and to move the plot forward.

The evil brother is crazy and evil. I first thought he wanted to kill the father (he probably would if he could) but he needed him for inheritance. He didn't really have much character depth except greed and craziness.

The Nobleman and my favorite character. He is doing things because he can. He is an expert (his words). He is a character with the most depth which is weird since he is the craziest of them all. Also, I like his smile even though it looks creepy as hell.

The action is top tier. Especially the scene at the end, the grand finale was extremely grand which is cool.

For such a dark and bloody movie, the ending was funny.

I hope they make a second movie but with the same vibe as the first one.

I would recommend this movie, it's pure action which is hard to find these days, nothing complicated, just fun.

No one is going to save you except yourself

The story is okay, the plot is convoluted at some places but the characters are 10/10. I love Sanyoung and Professor Yeom.

The police officer felt like a side character with too much screen time till episode 9, after that I could see his purpose. The trio was formed and the drama was a lot more fun.

Things I liked
- The whole vibe.
- The use of folklore and old stories.
- When they had one subplot story that lasts one or two episodes. (The village, the hungry ghost)
- The scene where Professor Yeom takes Sanyoungs hand and gets saved.
- The scene where the evil ghost goes after the detective and then after the professor.
- The scene where evil ghost hugs Sanyoung and begs to stay.
- The scene where Sanyoung saves herself at the end.
- The mystery about the evil ghost that's unveiling slowly till the end.
- The ending.

Things I thought could be better
- Sanyoungs mother was beyond annoying.
- How did the evil ghost get to Sanyoungs father. They never show that. We can assume it's because he touched the head piece (The same way Sanyoung got the evil ghost).
- Them looking for five things that could seal the evil ghost dragged.
- The older detective dying in the second part of the drama, I feel like it should have happened earlier or plot twist, what if the younger detective died? That would turn everything upside down.
- The younger detective just being there for half of the drama not believing in ghosts.
- Why do Professor Yeom and Sanyoung see ghosts? Is it because they were possessed?
- What happened to the ghost of Sanyoungs father that she saw in the village?
- I didn't like the whole plot where the younger detective has a crush on Sanyoung.

I feel like there's something missing in the story but I don't know what.

I have to say this, I love Professor Yeom and I could watch a whole drama of him going around and teaching about folklore and ghosts.

Overall, I liked it, I had fun watching it, it has a nice message, mystery, good characters and interesting vibes. I would recommend it.

I will kiss (stare at) you till you drop

I had a hard time rating this drama because I binge watched first 10 episodes and they were cute. Nothing too complicated but still entertaining.

Sarawat is cute with his flirting and jokes. Tine is a dumbass but he is a funny dumbass.

Then ep 11 happened and somehow it started going downhill and their lack of chemistry was more visible.

I understand that people show love in different ways but they were too awkward for two people in love. They seemed like very good friends and that's it, nothing more. They had more chemistry when they were chasing each other than when they were in a relationship.

When they moved in together, I stared at the screen and felt nothing.

Then we got the Pam plot because a girl in a bl must be evil. She disappeared as fast as she appeared so I don't see why adding her was necessary.

For the sake of drama? Well, the drama wasn't entertaining.

And the worst of all, they break up in the last episode, get together and give us a half baked happy ending. It's happy but I stopped caring.

We also have characters disappearing for a long time, to the point I forget they are in the story. One example - Green, they started fake dating because of him but he suddenly disappears in the middle of the story.

I hated the plot with Mil and Phukong, it feels like Phukong is a replacement for Tine. Also, why would you like your brothers enemy that's chasing his boyfriend. Have some self respect. I liked when Phukong took revenge for Sarawat but that didn't last long since he continued to chase Mil later.

Overall, it started cute with a lot of potential but ended leaving a bland taste in my mouth. I can't even say this drama is bad, it's just meh.

Do you have to become a monster to fight a monster?

I started watching this drama randomly, I don't even know why.

I thought I would binge watch it but it was heavy, I had to take a break around ep 8 but I finally finished it and I think it's worth it. It's a really dark twisted drama that leaves an impression.

Hwang Min is a murderer but I still couldn't hate him as much as I hate his bullies. Jong Suk is a hypocrite, he turned out to be the same as the bullies. I guess all he wanted to do was to protect himself, I can't blame him for that, his life was hell, but he still sucks like everyone else even if he tries to put on the perfect policeman mask.

I like how we start out thinking Hwang Min is the bad guy and Jong Suk is the good guy but the more story goes, we see nothing is black and white. Both of them are equally bad.

Hwang Min took the dark path of revenge while Jong Suk never repented for what he did, he just forgot it and that hurts because it's like it never happened. I don't like how it was never revealed what he did but I understand why, if Hwang Min wanted to reveal it, it would be revealed.

My favorite scene was definitely when Jong Suk and Cheol are talking after Cheol decides he wants to live.
JS - You are the God. God has to save the weak.
C - What are you talking about? Who do I save? I couldn't even save my dad. I'm just a middle school student.
I feel like Jong Suk was more obsessed with Cheol's ideology than being his friend. He put Cheol on a pedestal and when Cheol no longer wanted to be on that pedestal, he did something extreme.

In a way Cheol indirectly made Jong Suk a monster and his ideology that you need to be a monster to fight a monster stuck with Jong Suk till the very end. Even if he forgot Cheol, he never let go of that.

The scene where all three of them are laying down actually made me tear up because they were finally together. If they weren't bullied, how would their lives go? They would live long lives and be friends but that was taken away from them.

The ending scene is what really got me, them smiling and then you remember how they ended up. It's just sad.

I recommend this drama but keep in mind, it got really dark, real fast.

Stupid heart wants what it wants

I tried to watch the short version a while ago but I couldn't get through the first episode. I somehow didn't like anything about that drama. This comes out and I completely ignore it with the intention to never watch it and that's the reason I watched it.

I thought I would hate watch it but I was so wrong.

There are many messed up things with this drama. The beginning, the cheating, the bets, Vee being hurt by Ploy cheating when he cheated himself, I could go into details but I won't.

So why did I give it a high rating?

I enjoyed the mess. It was awesome.
Vee is my favorite character and I loved seeing him suffer.

Two of my favorite scenes are:
1. Ploy hugging Vee at the balcony begging him not to leave her, Vee looks towards Marks balcony and Mark just stands there watching them. That's when Vee started crying hard.
That scene lives in my mind rent free.
2. Ton comes to ask Ploy to be together again, Vee leaves them and goes to the balcony, turns towards Marks balcony only to see Nuea and Mark smiling, turns towards the door, Ploy and Ton are hugging.
Karma really said it's my time to shine.

Vee definitely suffered his share of pain for everything he did to Mark.

Mark took his revenge but in the process he hurt himself too. It starts to get obvious he loves Vee too much.

I hate cheating but the story wouldn't be so spicy without it.

The angst was so good and then the sweet moments were even better because you know what they had to go through to get there.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who likes very dramatic and messy dramas and can look past all the red flags.
Put the red glasses on and enjoy.

White umbrella

This is a cute movie. You watch it and time flies by.

Things I liked:
- No annoying second female lead, she knew when to walk off.
- DJ and Writers chemistry.
- You can see DJ likes her from the beginning and it's cute.
- I like how he tried to understand her, he read her articles and her book.
- You can see she tries to be tough but she is a softie.
- Her running home to listen to his radio show.
- Two of them dissing each other.
- Her article about lost love and white umbrella, so beautiful.
- The song he dedicated to her.
- Their smiles at the end, I melted.

Things I didn't like:
- Her current boyfriend, he is never supportive and she pretty much just tolerates him.
- Her first love, he took advantage of her while she was vulnerable. I liked how she asked him why they broke up and he didn't know why.
- The glasses girl and guy. I didn't like anything about that plot. If they erased it and gave that time to main leads this movie would be better.
- I want more of the story, I wanted to see their life after they got together. At least one date or her moving in with him. Literally just one scene would be enough.

Overall, a weird cute movie.

Good lawyer, bad lawyer

I watched this drama every week and I had fun. I will miss it.

This drama is slow, it doesn't have mind-blowing plot twists or characters doing some extravagant things. It's not makjang which I'm glad. It's pretty realistic.

The story builds up slowly, it gives hints here and there what will happen and it's on the viewer to connect the dots. I like that we aren't always told things but we are shown. It's more interesting that way.

There's a lot of small cases connected to one big case. All of them were interesting.

The whole plot about serial murders was written in a smart way. It makes us doubt who is the murderer but it reveals everything in a logical way, it doesn't drag or become boring. Everything makes sense at the end.

The characters are not good or bad, everyone is gray.
The villains suck but they show their good side sometimes, are they pretending? Probably, but they are pretty darn good at it.

Chakhee and Sibaek make a good team. This is not a romance drama but there are a lot of good moments between the leads.

The best episode of the whole drama is definitely ep 10. It left me feeling a lot of feelings.

The ending is satisfying and happy.

Jang Gido is officially a clown.

How did the murder happen?

That's the question every episode.

This drama is fun to watch, the episodes and cases are not connected so there is no big story or a villain to defeat at the end. It's two students solving murder mysteries.
I like those kind of stories where the main characters are not detectives (in this drama Kindaichi is a grandson of a detective but he is a student so technically he has nothing to do with solving murder cases) yet wherever they go, murder is there.
They go on vacation, murder happens.
They go on a treasure hunt, murder happens.
They go somewhere with school, murder happens.
They are in school, murder happens.

I understand that it's the plot but it's funny to see how will murder find them.

A few patterns between episodes I noticed:
- Every episode, it's revenge. Someone killed a person they cared about and now they are back for revenge with an overly complicated plan.
- Not even one murderer or a bad person went to jail because they all die at the end. I might be wrong but I don't remember even one villain that survived.
- At least three people die in an episode.
- Kindaichi and Miyuki can't have one normal vacation.

This drama is dark and messed up.

The fact they went crazy with blood and special effects didn't help but I applaud them for that, the gore makes the drama better.

Some things are disgusting (not murder but some parts of the story) but I still enjoyed the drama because the point of the episodes is to find out how the murder happened and who is the murderer.

Overall, I recommend it to people who like weird murder mysteries.

Someone had too much catnip while writing this

Honestly, it's not bad but it's not good.
My attention span in three in the morning is not the best and I don't want to commit to a long drama so this three minute format is great for me.

The story
It's weird, leave the logic out of the door. She is in a coma but her soul is in the cat so technically she is a cat now and ML adopts her (takes her away from the evil lady).

When I do reviews I will put things I like and things I didn't like but here, everything is in the middle. It's meh.

The evil lady is insane, she kidnapped the FL, blackmailed the ML, tried to murder FL, tried to murder the cat multiple times (as a cat person that one is unforgivable). Overall, she is over the top with her evilness and in a desperate need of some jail time.

ML is in unrequited love with FL, she is blind to his every attempt but when she becomes a cat she starts to see he is cute.

It's weird because he kisses her and hugs her as a cat and he doesn't know she is a cat. I don't know if I should laugh or question my choices in dramas.

He also wants to give her a bath, she tried to poop on a toilet but he explained that she has a litter box, he feeds her cat food... the list goes on, it's weird but it's before he realized the cat is FL.

How did he realize?
I have no clue. I would like to know his train of thoughts that led to that conclusion.

There are some cute moments between ML and FL but every single time my brain is like: She is a cat. She is a cat. She is a cat. She is a cat. And that is kinda weird.

Overall, it's okay. Watch it if you have time for something cat-astrophic.

Update.
It's been a while since I watched this drama and the more I think about it the more I think it's dumb.
