What is annoying about the female lead is that she starts to like the boy because her friends kept insisting that he liked her. Then she confesses to the boy when he is going to the US to study like she is giving him such a gift and gets angry at the boy for not liking her back and she wallows in misery for years keeping in touch. He comes back for a visit and goes to see her and she confesses yet again and then she tells him she can't be friends at all because he has no feelings other than friendship with her and it is his fault she has not had a successful relationship. I found her to be pathetic, very mean and over the top with her anger at him. He was never anything but honest about just wanting her to be a friend. Words hurt and her constant response to him to leave and go away - how could she not know that they would hurt. The fact that she has never tried to empathize with his circumstances which makes me question her affection for him as she has no idea who he is inside. I did appreciate the acting and the characters chemistry with each other.

Love it

This has everything I love in a period piece drama. Lots of action, such wondrous martial arts that almost appears to be dancelike, beautiful and well written characters, a ML and FL that are confident and strong and of course romance. Am already looking forward to watching it again! Yang Yang and Zhao lu si have lots of chemistry together. It was great to watch them together.

Very Disappointing

The female lead was so irritating. She whines and is so over the top with everything that it becomes annoying and I wonder how any guy can stand it. I wish she would take off that ponytail from the top of her head - what is she 12? I know that "fallings" and being caught is supposed to be the romantic parts of these types of movies but it becomes annoying when all the women can't seem to be able walk at all without tripping. Also, I don't know if it was the version I watched had such a bad translation but the story had a lot of potential but it lost it for me with the constant use of the word stupid.

Worth watching again

I really enjoyed this show. The acting was superb. The chemistry among the actors was great. I loved how the relationships progressed among the characters. I loved how he sat at that seat watching his Ji Eun Tak and just fell in love. This show gave me everything I love in a good show, a great story, deep love, lots of drama, laughter and tears. I specifically loved the chemistry and friendship that develops between Goblin and the Grimm Reaper. I loved how they depicted fate and love and waiting.
