What I really didn't like was the lack of intimate scenes (kisses, touches). I don't know if it had to do with the censorship, but there is really not much going on. And then there is the uncut version where we have sex scenes that makes you speechless. Watching the censored version your impression of this love will be completely different.
Overall it was a nice watch, the acting was okay, the music annoyed me several times. The filming was very amateurisch, but it gave the whole series a more realistic touch.
I can recommend "Like Love" if someone likes to see characters who are funny and behave (in a relationship) very differently. It's not the type of cute love with lots of shyness and insecurity you see in many boys love series. It's more a funny and straight forward approach with two strong minded characters.

Just lovely
I will make it short: The plot is not existent. I tried to read the manhwa at least five times because of it's popularity, and couldn't get into it. Creative out-going guy meets nerd that thinks and behaves like a computer. That's the whole story. They hate each other, then they fall in love. Never seen that before, right? So yeah ... not impressed. But why the high rating? The production was great, the soundtrack too, the non-existent plot worked surprisingly well, and THE LEADS WERE FANTASTIC! That's all you need to know about this series. Both did a good acting job, had incredible charisma, a very lovely chemistry, and were extremely good looking - not only individually, but also as a couple. Those two fit each other so well. Not to mention that they were capable of delivering a proper kiss. No akwardness, no shyness. Just cute. This is the type of series everyone can enjoy. Despite having two guys fall in love, it felt like a rather causal love story, and not your typical BL. It was not perfect and not really that out-standing, but it was sooooo lovely. I will give it 10 stars. I'm generous today. Was this review helpful to you?

So I put the spoiler tag. To make it short: The series is well done. From the very beginning it's obvious that this is really good. Good actors, good script, good dialogues, good production. Still it took me 2 episodes to get hooked, but then I was REALLY hooked. It got better and better - until the last two episodes which I didn't like at all. So my issues with the series: The character were not likable and the plot became strange at the end. Gyu-Ri was so sassy and cool, wasn't she? The girl messed up everything. If you think about it, the moment she got her hands on the Ji-soo's phone sh*t happened. All the blood that was shed was because of a new client she scouted. She didn't do it on purpose and it really looked like she was in love with Ji-soo and she later proved how far she was willing to go to save him, but still. The girl messed up EVERYTHING. I was constantly thinking *Just let the man do his business*. But the man became a wimp later on. The only character I was rooting for was Mr. Lee. And then he died. And then he didn't. And I'm not a fan of that kind of plot where a characters comes back just to die again. I liked Min Hee mostly because she was friends with Mr. Lee. But otherwise she was not very likable either. The main character had a very questionable personality to begin with. I mean, if you do that kind of business you sure are shady! But he proved that he was willing to risk his life to save Min Hee (he tried to hold back the bad guys so she and Mr. Lee could escape), just to let her die an episode later. It just made no sense. I don't know if you can call that "character development" or bad writing. The end felt strange to me. Like it was the end of a season and not the end of a series. I enjoy an open end if it's well done, but here it makes no sense. We don't know if Min Hee will live, die or survive with brain damage, we don't know if Ji-soo survived or not, we don't even know if Mr. Lee survived. The police officer never said clearly that he was dead. Everything was resolved more or less, but we don't know what happened to the characters. That was left completely open. So yeah, objectively speaking this series was very well done, very suspenseful (I had to hold my breath several times and binge-watched it in 2 days), but subjectively speaking I don't like the end, I don't like the characters, and I was in general very disappointed. So I'm conflicted about the rating. It's too good to rate it lower than 9, but I wished for a different end. I wished for the main character to die, honestly. I didn't hate him, but I thought his death would have been a better closure. I saw rumors about a season 2, so the end would make more sense considering there will be a continuation. Still I wonder how this season will look like. Ji-soo and Gyu-Ri have to flee, leave the country maybe, will we see new characters and a completely new story? Nothing is confirmed at this point, so well, whatever. Was this review helpful to you?

Lee Min Ki did a good job too. I didn't know him before, but he is very charismatic. I just hope he will eat something, because the actor was underweight in the series and looked really sick. I don't know if he had to lose weight for a different role, but it was horrifying.
Enough about the leads. The love story is touching and beautiful. But what I really appreciate about this drama was the message behind it. This was about the question what you do with your life and of course you make mistakes and are clueless, "because this is your first life". Marriage is something that is changing your life completely. Will you marry or not? Is it better to be alone or not? How will the environment react? Will you lose your friends, because you don't fit in anymore when you're not married? Or will you gain completely new friends? What I really appreciated how the mother was so desperate when she heard her daughter would marry. She wanted a different life for her. It was obvious that being married means (for a woman) to give up her dreams. Even though the end wasn't surprising (this is a Korean romance drama after all), I just loved how they showed us so many different ways how people find happiness and love. I really enjoyed the side couples so much. At the very end I was more interested in their story.
As a single woman in my 30s who doesn't plan to marry and have kids, I must say this was extremely enjoyable, smart and in a way comforting.
The acting, the storytelling, the production - it was great.

The story itself is weak. The boys lack personality. There are some background stories going on but even after watching two seasons I don't know much about the characters. It's only cute boys being in love and having some never ending problems. What surprised me the most (maybe it's the fault of the translation), but they did some soft and very cute kisses (my heart skipped a beat), it looks all innocent and beautiful and the actors are pretty young too. But then they talk about sex in a way ... I don't know. I somehow coudn't imagine this young boys "doing it" with each other. And it's better I ddin't imagine it! It just felt a bit out of place for me. Not so much for other couples, but Tee and Fuse ... it was strange.
Overall this series made some butterflies in my stomach flying around like crazy and that doesn't happen often. So I have to give it a good rating. I'm pretty sure I will not watch such boys love series in the future ever again. I really liked it somehow, but I know I'm too old for this.
