Honestly not bad but not great!

I was so excited when I finally found out that there is a movie with just our cinnamon buns Wen Ning and Sizhui and dropped everything then and there and rushed in order to watch the movie and honestly it's not bad though not as great as I hoped it would be.

My only problem with this is Wen Ning feels OOC and asking Sizhui to not call him Shushu broke my heart. Come one it's cute when A Yuan calls him Shushu and I get that Wen Ning needs be strong here and he is strong and knowledgeable and he needs to look after Sizhui too and being a main character means he can't be the adorable side character he was but I just wish they didn't change him so much that he doesn't feel like Wen Ning anymore.

The Best Part of the movie for me is "everytime Sizhui used his Guqin". I just had a huge smile on my face, proud to see him so much stronger than he was in Untamed, bet his dads are proud of him especially Lan Zhan being all like "That's my boy!"

The Story is predictable and the acting is fine, the fights look good. All in all a fun watch and would recommend fans to at least watch it once, won't watch it again though.
Also the last lines of banter between the Sizhui and his Ning shushu were cute.

Wow expected only fantasy and got an amazing story of a family!

Oh my goodness. One of the best Kdramas I had the immense pleasure of watching.
It has everything a good story, a great atmosphere, good romance, great family moments, engaging episodes and a really good end to wrap it all off.
Such a satisfying ending truly. I love the fantasy elements, the supporting cast and especially the Main Characters and every scene they interacted with each other.
All the episodic cases are also both heartwarming and heartbreaking and the best part is how our MCs help these people move on or get their happiness, give them the push they need all the while relating to them and reveal a bit of the backstory related to those cases.
Truly well written. The Villain is good enough too.
Grim Reaper Chief is also a great supporting cast.

All in all Highly recommended if you like Fantasy, episodic cases, Found Family, Slice of type romance and happy endings. Get ready though to grab a couple of tissues to cry a little from both sadness and ultimately happiness.

The True Beauty of Traveling Stories

Traveling stories have always been a favourite of mine. The two main parts of these type of stories are the places shown and the characters who are on this trip and their stories (the past they are running from, the present that makes a change in them or makes them come to a decision and the future they will face after this trip and how it resonates with us. How it makes us watch the places in awe and feel what the characters are feeling is what makes this genre of stories entertaining to watch,

I am happy to say that this Kdrama succeeds in doing this very well. We grow attached to this group and their stories and all the endings are also satisfying and feel like what a normal person will do in their situation more or less and the best part no antagonists. This especially shown well in the Hero's story. Every person is shown as a human strong in their beliefs and fighting their own battles and I really like that.
Though there are a couple of eps where The Hero did annoy me and I didn't get satisfactory resolution but in the end it's alright. It's a minor part of the story I can forgive.

Seriously every character in this story is so relatable to us and our family and friends that we get invested in the whole journey pretty soon. All the emotions as we go through this journey with them is just so fulfilling.
The places shown are such a delight to see. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed all the sights shown and the history of the sights explained to us. Makes us feel part of the group and we feel like we are travelling with them.

All in all highly recommended!
P.S:- Also the best part of this Kdrama is how we are shown many times to not just assume about the lives the strangers we come across and judge them. We love to gossip and guess people's lives. The problem is when we assume some things about them and then realise that we really couldn't be far from the truth.

This Kdrama Shows Why Ghost Stories are lot less Terrifying!!

First of all I want to say that I thought this would be a Ghost Story and I had no idea what the synopsis is or what the manhwa is about and was so dang surprised that the situation the MC is in much much worse than I pictured.
This is a Kdrama which makes really feel creeped out and disgusted with the atmosphere itself. I literally had goosebumps and felt something was wrong so many times in the beginning itself. Though the violence in this is not hidden in any way we know exactly what is happening yet not shown too much. Even then I skipped through most of it.

The Acting is PHENOMENAL! Honestly every single person are so so perfect! Hat's off!!! Truly!!
We continuously root for the MC to survive and hope he doesn't get too affected by the people around him and the situation he is trapped in and helplessly watch as each episode becomes more and more twisted.
I must say one of the best Survival Horror stories I ever saw and just in 10 Eps of 1 Hr each! The pacing is well done, the editing, the Eden Studio itself, the atmosphere and just everything.

A Must Watch! Though this Kdrama may not be everyone's cup of tea.

If you are like me and postponed this Kdrama for 3 years then this Review is for you.

As I said in the title, I postponed Goblin for so long after my friend recommended it to me dozens of times. I just couldn't bring myself to watch it for two reasons:-

1) Is it really as good as everyone is saying or will I be very disappointed?

2)Heard it will make you cry a lot which I wanted to avoid at all costs because I absolutely don't like Tragic or Sad stories. Life is complex enough. Why should we watch dramas which are sad too?

For the above questions the answers I found are:-

1) Yes it really is as good as everyone is saying. I can truly see the magic of this Kdrama and why it so beloved by so many. This is one of those few Kdramas which is truly an experience to be felt and seen by all and I will highly recommend anyone who hasn't watch it yet to watch when it feels right or when you find the time. You will love it for the friendships all the people in this world share, the trials they faced and overcame, the beauty of their love, the tragedy in lives which will make us weep for them, the characters and the actors who played them, the music and even the end. IT IS ALL WORTH IT!

2)This is not just a sad drama for the sake of being sad. It truly is an experience and though I cried, I am also happy I got to experience the beauty of this drama. Also, it's not completely sad. Life is beautiful and it is shown in this drama. Also love the mini stories of the people the Grim Reaper sends to the afterlife. Don't be intimidated by the sad ending like I was when I heard of it.

All in all just give this Kdrama a chance like I did and Trust me you won't regret it. It has the perfect blend of happiness, comedy, heartfelt emotional scenes and sadness just like our lives but in a more fantasy setting.
Goblin truly is One of a Kind

One of the best Kdramas ever! Watch it for the thrills and the emotions.

Just trust me and watch the Kdrama. It hits everything just right. Especially the feels. I never loved two leads more than I love the FL and ML of this drama. They were so so good and the the daughter too. Oh man The couple goals, the suspense, the family goals, the investigation and the thrills eveything keeps you completely engaged and you end up bingewatching like I did despite having exams in a month. Gonna have to take a break from watching such entertaining Kdramas.
All the characters are well thought and well acted and have depth.
Don't read any spoilers and just dive in for an amazing ride.
Except for a little of Ep 13 I loved each and every episode. Ep 13 is the only one which annoyed me a little especially on the FL's part but she is under a lot of stress so It's alright.
It's a Happy ending so don't worry about that.

Short, Sweet and Heartwarming: A True Best Friends to Lovers

I did not expect this story to be this good.
The credit goes to the whole team who worked on this drama. The acting, the music, the likeable and mature characters, the heartwarming atmosphere are all the reasons I recommend this kdrama to anyone who just want to relax and watch a sweet kdrama.
I really love the main leads. Their friendship which always had that love is just too sweet and the supporting characters are also surprisingly well done.
A Short story when done right can manage to get everything just right and this kdrama is one such story.

A Good Drama fit for one time watch

Except for the last two episodes where the ending felt weak and rushed (less intelligent and less interesting) this story is good especially the first 10 episodes are phenomenal! I would recommend this to anyone who liked watching kdramas like Descendants of the Sun but don't expect a smart epic ending. Watch this for the friendships, the training shown and the strong villain and all details shown in investigations.
All 14 episodes made me want to watch and see what will happen next. How our heroes will deal with their training and then how they will deal with the Villain who hurt them and so many others and you will be on the edge of your seat wanting to binge watch the show till EP 15. The Romances are well developed, the Friendships are awesome, The Training shown is seriously amazing. The best ep is the Sports day in Ep 7 and 8 I think.

A Well done Kdrama that everyone should give a chance!

The Characters are so well done. I love them all and the way they were acted as well. Each character is fleshed out and no one is left out.
You really understand the characters and where they are coming from and why they are feeling what they are feeling and can't help but feel like you could do something about it somehow but in the end they will ok more than ok in fact. The journey they go through is so satisfying to watch that you can't help but feel proud of them.

The Love Triangle is not painful to watch or Overdramatic. I usually hate Love Triangle but the journey these 3 went through felt natural. This is one Love Triangle that is shown very well.
All in all I've enjoyed this story a lot and it's only 20 to 30 mins each so you can either binge watch it or watch it when you need a break from your stressful lives or thrilling suspenseful or drama filled dramas and also if Kdramas representing LGBTQ are anything like this drama I'm sure we will be getting some very good ones in the future preferably with 1 hr ep each

So Cute!

This story is so freaking cute and adorable. As soon as I finished watching the movie I wanted more and made sure to search more about it online.
If you want a fun time then this movie is highly recommended.
The Fl is the best part. The Actress played her to be so adorable and cute. I just wanna hug her in every scene she is in giving her all.
The Ml's good and though the story is predictable it has charm and that's what counts.
We really root for them to end up together and they leave us wanting more of their adorable relationship.

Short, Cute and Fun

Get ready to Fangirl and laugh your way through 8 episodes of Kdrama tropes. This Kdrama is perfect for some relaxation and break from Kdramas.
Try it out! My fav eps were Ep 4,5 and 7.
The FL was awesome and she looked great with all 7 of the MLs. This Kdrama is fun in a silly kind of way that still made me giggle and fangirl yet laugh my eyes while watching all the popular tropes cliches.
Especially Ok Taec Yeon's and Park Hae Jin's is the Kdrama trope which will always remain popular.
My opinion: Watch this when you just don't want too much drama and just need a break from all the heavy suspenseful stories of Kdramas.
Minor Spoilerish:- I just wish they showed her ending up with a guy in her normal day to day life instead of just leaving the Ep 8 like that with Lee Min Ho(as a Travel Writer)

Quirky, Eerie, Weird in a Good Way, Unique, Has Depth and is Fun to Watch

Seriously one of the most different and weird Kdrama I have ever watched. The way the Kdrama is shot and presented reminds me of Animes. The characters are interesting, the story is a little confusing at first but by Ep 3 you will get it.
Ep 3 onwards it was a binge watch material for me and I wish there was a 2nd season to it.
I highly recommend this drama if you want a change of pace from the usual tropes of Kdramas and you will have ton of fun watching and surprisingly there are also many moments which were about Feels especially Ep 5(Best Ep)
Wish this Kdrama was longer or at least will have a season 2.
Also the Theme song is so catchy!

A Good Drama to watch to just have fun and relax

After watching Boys Over Flowers though I didn't like the Drama much I really liked Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum so I watched this one for Lee Min Ho and honestly I recommend watching this over Boys Over Flower. I love Lee Min Ho in this and I also really like the the FL but who surprised me the most is the character "Chang Ryul" and also really liked the actor as well. He made me mad at him, curse him out but also understand him, he has the best character arc throughout the drama. I genuinely felt happy at the end to see him grow and mature as a person. The plot does feel a little dragging and boring at times but i just skipped few seconds whenever that happened and it doesn't happen too much and the soundtrack is good it suits the drama well and I do hum some of the Osts time to time.( Making Love by 4minute, Can't Believe it by Younha)
I like the romance, the comedy and just the fun the drama gave me while watching it. All in all 8/10, since it's the 2nd ever drama I watched and holds a special place in my heart otherwise a solid 7.5/10

This Kdrama is for those who love Books, and Office Relationships(Be it platonic or romantic)

I started watching this Drama for Lee Jong Suk but ended up staying not only for his character but also for the rest of the characters who are all so amazing and well written.
I am gonna miss this kdrama and every single character in this story. It's one of those stories that make you feel all those emotions in life and stays true to life as well.

One of the best part of this drama are the books and the love the characters and every single person who is behind this drama shows to the books and how much they impact people's lives.
The relationships are some of the best I have seen in Kdramas.
A Feel Good Kdrama that will make me smile as I remember it or rewatch it.

The ML is not a Knight in Shining Armour but a support to the FL like our family and close friends are to us in real life. He doesn't solve her problems for her but is there for her and tries to help her the best he can. I truly love that about their relationship.
Though there is a little love triangle it's nothing that will give second lead syndrome or make us feel bad for the 2nd FL. It's so well written.
My favourite is Hae Rin but every single character has depth and have their own stories that will be heartbreaking at times but will definitely make us laugh and smile with them.
Just give this Kdrama a shot if you love Books, Relationships, Practicality, stories which are Realistic and stories with Office characters and how their lives intertwine with other people and each other.

Nothing New or Phenomenol and a lot of wasted potential but still a Good Watch!

Let's start with the Acting. It is seriously so good! I just love every single actor's be it main or not in this. Also the Child actor he stole the show. Can find no faults in the characters at all. The budding relationship between the Priest and our MC is so sweet. You can see they mean a lot to one another and I wish we got to see more of it.

As expected since this is movie instead of a Drama it feels rushed. The ending also if only this movie was longer with more exorcisms and a bigger trail to the main villain it would have been perfect.

One other problem I have about this story is that a subplot of the Hero getting haunted was not properly closed. I think they wanted to show more of it but was scrapped or something. That's how it felt like.
Most of the movie is wrapped up nicely I just feel like this movie needs a sequel or more hours for it feel complete.

The one thing I did love about the story is the Priest's complete belief in God and also how even though our Hero says he doesn't believe in God, it's not that simple. Our Hero is angry and sad that God didn't save his dad and the way he keeps coming to help the Priest with the exorcisms even though he keeps saying he doesn't believe in God shows he is a good person and hence why God chose him and gave him a way to help others.
