One of the best costume dramas in 2023
For me, this is one of the best costume dramas in 2023. Below are my points of view about the drama:Pros:
* Great acting. Ma Tian Yu, Angelababy and other cast are all good choice for their roles. They portrayed their roles very well. Especially, Ma Tian Yu used to successfully play a similar complex character like Ji Rou Chen so he is perfect in playing his role in this drama.
* Great story, exciting plots, no dragging scenes with unnecessary characters or details.
* Wonderful chemistry between the two main leads, lovely and passionate romantic scenes.
Cons:
* Not a high budget invested drama so the CGI, costumes and cinematography are not as good as high budget dramas.
* The male lead, Ji Rou Chen, is an anti-routine character so the audience can easily misunderstand him as a bad character in the beginning. Patient and non-judgment/bias are needed to watch and enjoy this drama till the end.

A masterpiece
I have just watched this movie on Netflix. This is one of the best Chinese movies I have ever watched. The casts, story, production, CG and music are all wonderful. Beyond the two leads, I was surprised that Wang Duo was also in this movie. I knew him from drama Ice Fantasy in the role of Prince Huang Tuo who is very kind and gentle. However, his role in this movie is totally different and his acting impresses me a lot. I think he should be considered as a male lead as well. The best Xianxia drama in 2022
Before watching this drama I didn’t know the main casts so I was hesitated to watch the drama. However, after trying to watch the first 2 episodes, I became addicted. The more episodes I watched, the more I like the drama. It’s been a long time that I enjoy such a beautiful and amazing Xianxia drama like this. There’re moments of laughing and also crying. I usually don’t like watching dramas that make me unnecessarily feel emotional but this drama is an exception because the story is very touching to me! The OSTs and soundtracks are wonderful which help make the important scenes more memorial or enjoyable. Although the main casts are young artists, they portray their roles well. I also like the costumes and styling which are not only beautiful but also unique and different from other Xianxia dramas. A lovely romantic drama
In my opinion, this is one of the best dramas in 2020. When I watched this drama, I was hesitate because I hadn't known any cast in this drama. However, I was not dissappointed after watching this. The story is great, surprising and shows how true love is. All the casts performed their characters very well. I feel the strong emotion and connection between the two main characters. There're many beautiful romantic scenes which I love and CG in this drama is very good. I recommend this drama to those who like romantic and costume drama.Was this review helpful to you?
One of my favourite dramas
I have begun watching Chinese dramas for about 9 months and this is one of my favourite dramas. I chose to watch this drama first because it's poster on Netflix is eye-catching. I was deeply impressed by the main character Ying Kong Shi performed by Ma Tian Yu. He is not only good-looking but also expresses the character's emotion very well. Other casts including supporting roles are also great and beautiful. I like the costumes and OST in this drama as well. The story line is attractive and some scenes are very touching which kept me re-watching. However, the ending is too sad and somehow unreasonable so that I rate the story for 9 point instead of 10 point. In my point of view, the ending can be more reasonable and happier.Was this review helpful to you?
A perfect drama
This is one of the best Chinese dramas I have every watched. The casts, story, production, costumes, music are all wonderful. I don't read the novel so I had to watch many ananlysis of the story and charaters on Youtube and re-watch the drama up to the 4th times to fully understand the story and the meaning of many scenes in the drama. Yet I never feel tired of re-watching this drama. The story is very touching and reminds me of the meaning of true love no matter it is between family members or friends. All the characters are expressed very well through the great acting of the whole casts. I like Lan Zhan who is peformed by Wang Yibo the most. He is one of the most elegant and gorgeous characters I have ever seen and Wang Yibo perfectly expressed Lan Zhan's personalities and emotions throughout the story. I also love the OST of this drama. Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Final Transmutation

A great adaptation from anime
When watching the 3 movies of Fullmetal Alchemist, I didn’t know that they were live-action (adaption from anime) so I can’t tell how good they are as compared to the anime. However, in my point of view the 3 movies are the best Japanese live-action that I have ever seen. The cast not only portray their roles pretty well but also good looking. I was impressed with Yamada Ryosuke in the role of Edward the most. The plots are interesting and surprise me at some points. The CGI, costumes and styling are great and attractive. I enjoyed watching this live action and have re-watched it a few times.Was this review helpful to you?
The best Wuxia drama
I have just finished watching this drama and felt very satisfied. The story is attractive and does not have unnecessary long conversations like most of other dramas. The cast acts very good especially the two leads. Gong Jun surprises me in the role of Wen Kexing who has many "faces". I knew him from the drama Lost Love In Time in the role of a nice and faithful Prince but this role did not impress me much. Wen Kexing seems to be a good role for Gong Jun to fully show his talent and his beauty. The costumes and make up are beautiful which shows the natural beauty of each cast. Although costumes of Wen Kexing are colorful, they are impressive and look gorgeous with Gong Jun. I really like and enjoy watching this drama which is the best martial art drama I have ever known in recent years!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Romantic and hilarious drama
During the time waiting for the new episodes of drama Word of Honor to be aired, I watched this drama to know more about Gong Jun who is also one of the leads in Word of Honor. The first thing that impresses me about this drama is that it made me laugh a lot. The female lead is really a talent. The role of Gong Jun in this drama is not complicated so his talent is not fully expressed. I prefer his role as Wen Kexing in Word of Honor. The story is rather simple but it shows the real meaning of true love which is the sacrifice for each other. The end of the story in the game is touching. In general, this drama is hilarious, romantic and can be watched to relax during free time.Was this review helpful to you?
