A PERFECT ROM-COM drama.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will make you cry, laugh, scream, crazy, and smile. It's not just a drama, it's an emotion. This drama teaches you the values of life, how special is life, and how you should never give up. If I am ever re-born, I want to be born in this neighborhood. From episodes 1 to 16, I enjoyed every single episode. Must watch! Definitely one of the best 2021 Korean dramas. Such a heart-warming drama. Trust me you won't regret it at all. a perfect, all-kill ROM-COM drama.

The soundtrack, the cinematography, and the writing are so beautiful. I love every single frame of it. Acting from the cast is a masterpiece, not to forget all the child actors and the side characters, great acting. There are so many tear-jerking scenes, the performance from the side characters shines a lot in this drama. Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho, the dimple couples, the chemistry between them is so powerful

They chose violence

This movie definitely shows all the injustices happening in Philippines, and gives a somewhat cinematic poetic justice to all the injustices. The whole movie has a different kind of charm, A girl finds a gun and she chooses violence to find peace and gain respect, and on the other side we have teen trying to survive and a gun keeps him safe. Elijah Canlas and Janine's acting is so brilliant. There is so much meaning in the gun, this gun can mean violence, protection or anything but to the character's it's the only hope they hold.

Flower of Evil till the end

I don't even know where to start, I followed Flower of Evil since the day they announced the cast. I have been there since the day the launched the stills, teasers, and the trailer. I really cherished this drama. I ate this drama well. From episode one to sixteen, the whole drama was a perfection. The acting of Moon Chaewon and Lee Joongi was flawless. They looked like a perfect couple with the kid. I really wished there were more family scenes with Baek Eun-Ha (their kid).

Flower of Evil tells us the story of Cha Ji-Won (Moon Chae-Won), a detective who is married to Baek Hee-Sung (Lee Joon-Gi) and they have a daughter. Baek Hee-Sung is a devoted husband but he hides a dark secret from his past and is living under another person's identity. His wife has no clue about his past but here is a thrilling part, she is a detective. Cha Ji-Won discovers his secrets and chasing his past.

Overall, Flower of Evil is one of the best dramas of 2020 and it's to be treasured forever. It was not too much nor too little. The story could have been stronger I felt but they never missed giving us the thrilling feel. There are so many scenes that kept me on the hook and scared. The ending is beautiful.

Pleasure

Sometimes life is good and sometimes life is bad. Episode one starts with Ming running over a dog with her car. I thought it's going to be some dark stuff but it turns out to be, Former schoolmates Buck and Ming having no-strings-attached affair behind their partners' backs. Every episode they are just busy having affair and jealousy starts developing and story goes on and on. Pleasure on top of pleasure with jealousy. Noon was a great girlfriend. Never take anyone for granted, and if someone takes you for granted, then sometimes you need to just leave them. Never let anyone take you for granted. Sometimes you need t control it and Th reality is people's emotions and feelings are never easy to control.

Bond

Definitely not true love but bond. Nat is a runner, she meets her boyfriend's friend and starts having crush on him. Later, she finds out he is gay and she starts shipping him with her boyfriend. She starts doing all sort of things to make the guy like her but....It's all messy. If your here because your Bl addict, you might get heart attack and die. Lol. The ending was cute. There is no spice to the story, it's just a simple story. Nothing much to say about the story, it's simple and to be enjoyed with some tea.

No true but CONQUEST

No true but CONQUEST. Everyone in this drama are pure evil expect Jane and Mistress's boyfriend. This drama will boil your blood so badly, too much happening. The mistress and Pee's ex-wife are the biggest snake in Thailand. I feel bad for Jane, she driven mad till the end. She doesn't even give up on her trashy husband till the end. However, I finished the series. Please watch all Club Friday series, too much of realism. In the end...Jane had to accept the reality, That's what this drama is about.

A MASTERPIECE !

A classic! A must-watch! I swear this movie will haunt you till the day you die. I believe Raise the Red Lantern is one of the best films by Yi-Mou Zhang. He criticizes Capitalism, Patriarchy, Misogyny, and the power structures in society. Also, dammmn Gong Li is something else. When a man wished Songlian to live 100 years, she says, " Oh Please I don't want to live that long ".
I felt that...bro, I felt that deep down my body.

This movie will haunt me for sure. Classic! The cinematography, screenplay, music, color...every single aspect of it is to be lived for.

This is an art film. There are not much dialogues in this film but the acting speaks it all. Very deep. It interprets life, death, after world and suicide. There are like 5-6 stories and they are shot in Mongolia, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. The Mongolia story was bit dark and I felt like these stories are all connected in someway. It's very hard to understand this movie but if you understand then your a genius, the meaning behind the stories are too deep. This movie was directed by Scud. His movies are always artistic.

Loletta Lee and the aesthetics of Hong Kong

Well, Girls Unbutton is so Pornographic/Sex comedy. the plot is not strong at all, it's about Jenny trying to find a perfect man to love her. I watched it for Loletta Lee and the aesthetics of Hong Kong only. However, I feel like the genre of this movie itself makes the movie raunchy and not much in a strong narrative. It's boring and very silly at times. However, there is a lot of explicit scenes. if you are into it then this movie is a visual treat for your eyes.

The movie is all about HOW TO MEET AN Ideal man, Jenny trying to figure it and explore many means to get a man

The trick is a light touch.

I saw this comment on Letterboxd and it explains the beauty of this film

There’s a value in simplicity, a happy-sad acceptance of basic pleasures as pleasures nonetheless. Ozu uses his own light touch to make this much obvious in his peppering of choice little movements, a repeated note or a symmetry in the rhythm to really drive home the cadence of his bittersweet melody. Parallels of the old and the new strike a complementary tone to the content and the indifference, as reflection of the past blend visions of what could be, and even empty corridors round out a harmony heard half-way, in happy-hushed hallways. It’s almost too easy to label this approach the same unassuming, gentle compromise as the very dish it's named after. As a figuration for marriage itself, The Flavor of Green Tea Over Rice is as sound as they come. It’s the taste of simplicity, yes, but also a gesture of their meeting in the middle, a soft-spoken pact that love can come at last sight.

As an exercise in melodrama, I’m less convinced. Ozu was never afraid to bare teeth, and the dynamics at play give him plenty to chew on. Certain scenes had me sold on the belief that this was his social satire as disguised in clothing of the home family drama, in its challenges of culture divides and exposing of societal hypocrisies, warts and all. And yet, there’s one too many smiles to make the bite ever truly sting, as the piece contorts from seeming damnation to gentle epiphanies, while gentle jabs at human frailties are balanced by a soothing sympathy for human conduct. As mirrored in the slightest of camera-tilts, Ozu manages a soft-blow knockout in the most unassuming of digressions, minor-key enjoyment epitomized and granted wings. With a grace note so abrupt it left me gasping for air, it’s as if we’re reminded that the smallest moments are often the simplest pleasures.

I am crying

When my love blooms. It's one of the best romantic Korean drama of 2020. If I have to describe this drama then I would say it's heart-warming, painful and full of hopes for a new beginning. The story has so much depth and emotions. The soundtrack, acting and the story is so beautiful. Overall, the drama is very slow, you either fall in love or get bored. But for me, I enjoyed it very much. I was in tears watching it. The performance of Lee Bo Young and Yoo Ji Tae got me so emotional. Jeon So Nee, Park Jin Young and all of the cast members deserved to be praised.

Everything is a lie!

Imagine the pain of losing your child and an abusive husband, also going to jail for the crime you didn't commit. Lies of Lies is a drama that will take you on one hell of a ride. Such a great drama! The story is full of lies and plot twists. I really loved each and every episode. Great job Channel A.

Each episode is lies of lies, it keeps building up. Then in the end it breaks down. This drama is like a modern day makjang. There are times, my body is full of chills, there are scenes that will drive you super crazy. The evil mother-in-law tortures her daughter-in-law to death but again there are lies and lies...Oh god, I swear this drama is crazy. The last two episodes are so satisfying.

I LOVE SEMANTIC ERROR

One of the best Korean BL ever to be made. Love the drama and the webtoon. Not even a single ERROR can be spotted. O so loved it from episode one to the eighth. I give it a 10/10 peace!! The chemistry between Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan is so good, and they nailed the scenes! Just like the webtoon, the acting was spot on. Now, coming to the technical aspects, the sound is brilliant, I love the song "Romantic devil" so much. Then the cinematography was okay, loved the opening scene of episode 1 and the ending scene of the last episode. there were so many great elements in this drama. Even though there have been many Korean dramas that have created huge impacts, I believe Semantic Error is the actual beginning of the reign of Korean Bls. There will be a huge to shift to Korean BL, starting from this drama.
