BEST DRAMA EVER

Somewhere in 2017, I started a Korean drama called "Stranger" or also known as "Forest of secrets". The poster and title were so different and I just randomly clicked on episode one and just fell in love. The whole drama is so different, when I say different I mean it's rollercoaster of a nostalgic feeling. It made me feel like I was inside that drama. Episode one opens with Hwang Shi Mok (Jo Seung Woo) a character having some kind of brain surgery and he lacks emotion. He has zero emotions. Hwang Shi Mok starts working as a prosecutor and then the story begins with several cases being solved. This drama is so simple and well-directed. Later on, Han Yeo Jin (Bae Doo Na) joins him in several cases and their chemistry is good. There is no romance or sparks but their chemistry is everything to root for one. Each and every character in this drama have their own stories to tell and it all syncs up with the cases happening. I just love how deep every episode is. This drama is one of the best crime written dramas ever. No words can describe how good this drama is.

I remember listening to the OST's non-stop during my hard time, I love song by Richard Park "Without end". Sometimes I just randomly play "dust", "Shower" and "Like a monster", just lie down or while working. It lifts my mood. It makes me feel like I am inside Hwang Shi Mok's head.

I low-key tear up watching it sometimes, I cannot explain how beautiful and precious Han Yeo Jin is to me. If you closely analyze the whole drama you will be able to see how Han Yeo Jin slowly changes Hwang Shi Mok. There is one scene where he smiles. That smile is still stuck in my head, it's inescapable. I also love how she doodles randomly and gives it to Hwang Shi Mok.

I want to confess that I ship Hwang Shi Mok and Han Yeo Jin. I want them to fall in love, I want them to kiss, sex like monsters, and have babies. I love this drama so much. I am crying with happiness that season will air today. I am going to watch it now and hope for the best.

Kissable Lips is a HIT and a MISS

It's a good series and there is great chemistry between the leaders however, "Kissable Lips" is a HIT and a MISS. The Story is really good and had a lot of potentials. I enjoyed watching all the 8 episodes, it's fun and entertaining. However, I wish there was more, everything seemed to be rushed and there was such vampire stuff that was left without explanation. I am not kidding, This drama could be like in the TWLIght level but so much was missed.

Overall, It's a fun and entertaining drama. Not the best but I would definitely sit and watch again.

Every single episode is something to learn

I loved this drama so much! It's like a life lesson drama! Every single episode is something to learn. I also love how diverse this drama. It shows a struggling family, struggling relationship, struggling gay couple and married couple trying to have a child. Tonari no Kazoku wa Aoku Mieru is a very realistic drama! No rainbows and sunshine's, they made it look so real. I loved the gay couple so much, I was crying and laughing watch them, so beautiful. It's an amazing drama! Must watch! Cute, funny, real and it's worth all the time.

The School nurse files is beautifully weird

This is the weirdest Korean drama I have ever seen in my whole life. I had no clue what was happening in episode one and two, I am being so honest here I didn't even understand many parts but from episode three things get understandable and make more sense.

An Eun Young is a new nurse teacher at school. She has a special ability to see jelly-like monsters that are made from the residue of human desire and she can also eliminate these jellies. Hong In Pyo is a Chinese language teacher at the same school. He has a special energy. In order to protect the students, An Eun Young and Hong In Pyo work together to eradicate these jellies. I love Mr. Mackenzie (Yoo Teo), he appears from episode three, from then things get very interesting.

So the school was built on an ancient burial ground. There is a hole where the air flows. This place contains so many energies. The energies feed off children's laughter. As they are feeding on the energies, jelly-like monsters are created. The Grandfather who wanted to channel those energies the people were worried about Mr.Hong and safe happiness changing the world. Control the breathing hole and change the luck and you will have the power to rule the nation. That was the plan designed by Safe Happiness. To those who are strong, the place will appear normal. However, it draws in the who lack energy. That's why people keep jumping in

The CGI team did a great job in VFX. The jelly monsters looked so real and also the special effects and other graphics are excellent. It is something to be praised cause it's really good. Coming to the writing, The drama is very trippy, it's as if someone wrote this drama doing acid. It's quirk and fun. also, the music is really good. Lesbians! Lesbians are everywhere! Episode 6 is bloody the best episode in this drama. Must watch! It opens up social issues and I love it. We see a lesbian couple and we see a lot more crazy things happening in the school. My favorite episode is three and six.

Overall, The School nurse files is beautifully weird. It's very trippy and hard to understand, proceed with caution cause your in for some next level supreme existential crisis. I really loved, to

MAY OUR LORD MANXIN BE WITH YOU?

What if there is a fortune-telling application that can predict 96.3% accurately? The episode starts with A company called Pricon a fortune-telling program, The name of the fortune-telling program is Manxin. Almost everyone in South Korea is dependant on this app. No daily lives can go without people finding out how their day is going to be like. I love the opening song. It's a song by I MONSTER titled Daydream In Blue. It fits so well with the scene.

To Sun Wo (Lee Yeon Hee) lost her sister because of an accident and later finds out Manxin has something do with it. She starts looking for the creator of Manxin and finds out shocking things. Along with her Jung Da Ram (Lee Dong Hwi), A Manxin believer follows, He wants to find out who is the man behind Manxin. To Sun Wo doesn't believe in Manxin's predictions but Jung Da Ram is a hardcore believer. Together they go through a lot of shocking stuff to find out who Manxin is.

The acting was amazing. I love how raw Lee Yeon Hee's acting is. I really want her north star jacket. She looks damn good. Lee Dong Hwi's acting is a killer, his acting is flawless as usual. I loved his hairstyle, I need to get one like that. The story is complicated but it was directed very simple. I wanted more but there is not much room in the episode.

Manxin's ending was beautifully cremated. It doesn't end like how "The Prayer" ended. I couldn't predict the ending at all. I loved how smooth and simple it ended for a complicated story.

The film begins in Hong Kong 1934, Courtesan Fleur (Anita Mui) enters into a relationship with a pharmacist Chen-pang (Leslie Cheung). Their love story turns into a tragedy when Chen-pang’s wealthy family refuses their relationship. Later on, In 1987 Fleur appears to an Hong Kong newspaper officer, searching for the lover that abandoned her in a suicide pact more than five decades ago.

Rouge is directed by Stanley Kwan, The story is very simple and yet so brilliant. No words can describe, the fact that both Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui are not alive today, it hurts so much. The shift of the movie from the past to present to the past to present is a masterpiece. Loved this movie.

Edward Yang played with my emotions

This movie has so many layers to it, from family, relationships to society. Not to forget this is Edward Yang's debut movie, I am just amazed by the vision he had.

Every single character in this movie has so much depth to them. So, the movie is about two friends who haven't seen each other for thirteen years reuniting again but the magic is that the whole film doesn't just revolve around these two characters, it revolves around all that is surrounding them, and the character themselves. Throughout the movie, you will slowly witness how these characters have so much to say, and the reflection of their actions is seen.

The color tones of this movie set a whole new mood for this story, really brilliant, and also the camera angles are so interesting. Even, the soundtrack is so soothing. I love every single frame of this movie.

The ending of this movie is when it hit me, why the movie was titled "That Day, on the Beach", What really matters is that, who walked away from THAT DAY ON THE BEACH. Life is all about moving on, nothing is constant. Edward Yang played with my emotions. I don't know why...I felt the emotions.

Hani slayed it

Horror and Sci-Fi meet in this episode. The horror scenes are bloody good! Hani portrays as a gamer named Juno. She has to go through several stages of fear in the game.

During the game, the teacher explains Greek Mythology. Crows originally had beautiful white feathers. They were Apollo's messenger, but one day they came back late with a message. Because it wasn't focused on the task, Apollo asked why the crow was late. The Crow says Apollo's wife Coronis had an affair, which was a lie. Apollo believed the crow. So he kills Coronis. But he finds out the crow lied after he kills Coronis. Apollo gets so angry and he burns the crow to death. That is why the crow came to have black feathers.

This myth drives the story deep. At the beginning of the episode, we find Juno's classmate commenting on her Live stream, a rumor on suicide. Juno believes it's all a lie, when she starts playing the game, she has to go through several stages of fear. In these stages, we see her past. Same school, same students, same setting with serious horror. Students turning to crows was really scary. I really loved the Crow reference.

In the end, The crow simply didn't want to be hated. Hence...I am not going to spoil it. In the end, she turns into... It's so beautiful.

A classic Taiwanese Movie. Very beautifully directed by Edward Yang. It's a new-wave movie. The most impressive aspect of the story is its visual style. The usage of unfurnished apartments, offices and alienated urban landscapes is a great illustration of emptiness embedding the protagonists. In his second feature, Edward Yang also appears to be a solid visual master showing great work with lights. The clarity of visual style, emotionally charged close-up and stylish looks and cuts are really impressive. The film might be not so moving, but the story is brilliant in its poignancy and bleakness.

Bitter-Sweet

Highly recommend. It's fun and emotional drama, the second-lead syndrome is like roller-coaster. Very painful to watch but the ending is bitter sweet. Let's talk about how this drama portrays the social issues, it's brilliant. Especially the dialogues on homosexuality and women mistreatment at work. Very brilliantly written. Hands off the music team, the background sound track is very fresh and interesting. The story at the first half of the series gets you hooked up and in the second half it becomes more realistic i would say. All I want to say is, story could have been better in the second half. There is so many rooms of for new plots but it was left closed. They gave us a very realistic ending. Overall, I am giving it a seven point five out of ten because they expressed the views on social issues, which is very big in the Korean drama. Thank you JTBC.

Cute, Heart-warming and amazing! Slay

Blueming is such a beautiful Korean Drama. From episode one to episode 11, pure art! I love the color tones, acting, story, and music too. If I have to point out a few mistakes, I would say the editing! Like there were a few scenes where the cuts were abrupt. so that's one thing. Overall, it's such a feel-good drama! You can watch it anytime, and feel so good! This BL is going down to the BEST BLS OF THE Century. Hwang Da Seul is such an amazing director! got to admit that.

I wish the episodes were longer, and the side characters had more screentime, there was some sort of mystery in the side characters. Like the Cha Si Yeong (sister of Cha Si Won) and Do Ba Woo (the nerdy guy). I also wanted to see more of Hyeong Da Un's family story. Blueming could have been longer and I feel like there could be a season 2 to fill these gaps.

Blink

Ji-Woo is a detective who trusts her sense and abilities over the judgment of AI. One fine day, Ji-Woo receives a new partner, but her partner is AI Seo-Nang (Ha-Joon). Together these two go around solving cases. Unlike the previous episodes (The Prayer, Joan's Galaxy, and Manxin), Blink is a very simple story. The concept is Ai's and Human intelligence. Ji Woo tries so hard to not question her intelligence over an Ai but certain things lead her to...

The main highlight of this episode is the fight scene in the end. It reminded me of the fight scene in the anime "Ghost in the Shell". I love how the Ai hacks the system and Ji Woo fights. My other favorite scene is the cameo scene of Jung Eui Soo, the kid who plays with drugs.

The ending is so cute. However I wish there was more depth to the story but the writers kept it simple and aistic.

Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae is breathtaking

The chemistry between Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae is breathtaking. I am obsessed with these two, Oh Hye Won and Lee Sun Jae. Moreover, the whole drama is an emotional rollercoaster. From Episode One to the sixteen, a crazy ride. My favorite parts are the secret love affair parts and the piano playing parts. The next thing is the Screenplay, cinematography, music, acting, editing, and directing! All of them out of this world. also, the ending is sad, wild, and crazy! I wish there was another episode, where the ending is a bit clearer and shows the future between Oh Hye Won and Lee Sun Jae.
