Masterpiece I tell ya!

This is a real OG magnifico, extraordinary show! I laughed, I had frights, felt all anger and I freaking bawled to the point I had to stop eating my dinner!

The story line is great, the music? great, cast? Terrific!
Acting? Spot on!

This started off as a drama that you'd expect to be either cliché or soft.
But the story line developed and so did my feelings for the show.

It had me in and out of my freaking feelings, stressed out and thirsty for war!

Just to get it across... I AM NOT SATISFIED THAT THE CROWN PRINCE DIED FROM HIS ILLNESS! I WANTED THEM TO BURN IS A$$ ALIVE!!!

The music (ost) was good too, i liked the piano instrumental (background music) the most to be honest, even though all of them was good.

I think the did good with this show, i'll have to go find something cute to watch to help me move on seriously.

The costumes were beautiful too & none of the mens' wigs looked overly fake and I liked that.

The fight scenes? spectacular! Very detailed and seemed real.


i salute this show *chef's freaking kiss* man!

But tbh I rewatch value for me? 4/10

I wish I could watch this again for the first time

This is a masterpiece! I love it so much this lived up to its name! It literally brings you on the battle field and you see everything! Unlike other dramas that barely show any fighting....
Normally in dramas i would develop a crush on the ML, set him for my screensavers search for his social media accounts and all that...he is awesome and handsome and yes i still went to search for him, but this time...this is the first time where I've fallen in love with the female lead instead!!!!
Shes just a badbitch! And also her sis inlaw and two wing women... Bad bitches all of them.

This is the best gender reversed show ever.

The castings ? Amazing
The story? Even better!

General Ye showed them nasty officials and the e tire kingdom that a woman doesn't need to always be tied down with just cooking, embroidery and having kids!
She proved to them that women can take charge and i freaking loved that!!!

So I saw this while looking for another drama that had girlfriend in it and I read the title and was like dang this is about to be a mom who is a monster to the son inlaw. Turns out she was a monster but wait it gets better.
I saw the one star rating no comments
I read the sypnosis and I was Hella wrong.
It doesn't list where to watch so I typed it in Google and yup this is a wack porn movie with a mother who is not to be a called one.
But it's porn what you expect? Porn has all these wack story lines but the thing is situations like these really happen in real life.

I wish for a season 2

Not going to lie... At first I was super annoyed with the FL, she was annoyingly selfish and never thought things through before acting and became a puppet for others. She had reasons but there were obvious ways around it.

The ML? I love him! He's the main reason I watched it anyway.

Anyways I loved the all cast, especially the Zombie (i wish she got to speak to piggy before)
I loved all the supernatural beings.
The story was okay as well
The ost is bomb, the songs are one of the reason i keep missing the show and cannot move on in peace. Lol.

The clothes were okay, the romance part, lived for it.

It was a slow romance but it was okay.

Bottom line I reccommend, I love it a lot
Hoping for a seaon two.

The ending is bitter sweet, you can either feel satisfied or want a continuation or both at the same time like me.

Go try it out and see what you think, you'll like it

At first I was like "WTF?!".....

Okay so I watched this drama only because of Ian and I saw it on his list of films and I clicked it and saw no reviews or proper comments for this film. So i took it upon myself to watch it and give a review just incase anyone else comes across it and wants to watch it.
First off its on youtube with subs so its available easily.

Okay so at first I thought what in the world am I watching? Lol it was weird at first I forced myself to continue in the begining. Even though its not a HUGE OF A DEAL movie I can say it was okay.

The main Dynasty of this drama was the qing hence the half shaved head and elaborate women hairstyles, then the female lead and her master seemed to be Han chinese so they dressed different and then some of the people in the village seem to be dressed like Ming dynasty (i think). Then it sort of had modern things in it too lol like showing peace signs, shades lol inventors.
It had a lot of different costumes going on but that didn't hurt the story lol
The monster costumes lmaooo they raided a teddybear factory but it was okay I liked how they were funny looking, most of the monsters were funny and had hearts and kind, not what people expected of them.
As the movie went on the plot sort of developed and in the end you saw clearly unexpected moments from the people you least expected.
I like the prince's family, they didn't show strict rules like you'd see in other imperial dramas, like the court and battle for the thrown. BS officials and shcolars nope it was about jokes, betrayal -ish, romance and stuff.

The emperor was funny too, loves his brother and sister even though the dowager is the true ruler she was a funny okay person too.

The music was quite mondern -ish you didn't get to hear those traditional tunes with a lot of flute and zither but it was okay.

Bottom line the relationships were good, I reccommend watching it if you happen to have a bowl of popcorn and you just want to watch something, extremely light, sort of funny but okay at the same time.

This won't stress you out, takes your mind off of those chaotic ones that has you hooked but stressed and depressed at the same time lol!

The ending would be explained as what people may say a bitter sweet moment.

Anyways guys you can watch it for yourself, it really was an okay film to watch.

Karma had a field Day Period

This drama was good, the story started off interesting, the female lead she was good but after eveything that happened to her, her husband cheated, kick her and their child out the house then married his mistress who just had his baby.
In the end he suffered and I was here for his beautiful and well deserved downfall.

The mistress had it coming too. Such a pawn!
The acting was great they did well, the ML's character is such a sweet heart, he was golden and They deserved each other.

The film was kind of low buget, it annoyed the the hell out of me how the instrumentals weren't good and how their costumes were repeated.
Lmao, the FL had like one rippes jeans and three tops the entire show.
And it was unrealistic since she was a lady of leisure

The ML is always in a suit and tie even on a picnic outing lol.

It annoyed me.
They had nice cars to use though, and different settings like house and offices, restaraunts were good too .
So it wasn't really that low budget.

The plot was good, it was refreshing to see something 90% realistic.
And I should know because I've seen a situation like this unfold first hand.
This drama reminded me so much.

So even though the clothes, the songs etc. Weren't good.... The somewhat realistic plot will let you turn a blind eye to it.

Their acting? Good

Basically you can give it a try and see how you like it.

They did well

I watched it on youtube, the subtitles were shit. The subtitles were automatic so it was all over the place, saying irelevant stuff, I had to basically read between the lines majority of the time to get and understand some stuff.

But I still understood and got the whole feel of the drama, otherwise other than where drama life listed you could watch this drama, or you wanna try bouncing it on youtube, I didn't see anywhere else that made it available.
Your choice, but give it a try....

In the End, karma had a field day and goodness prevailed!

Wasn't what I expected

The budget was obviously low for this film. But I don't care. I FREAKING LOVED IT!
People keep comparing it to the remake and I'm like come on give this one credit because it was done well.
It was like a parody with a great storyline that actually made sense and got me hooked.

This film made me laugh a lot.
The ending was my favorite, even though I got a little bit emotional.

I loved the Fl dresses, i'd wear them right this instant, wish I could steal them through the screen.

The costumes for her, the maids and concubines aren't like traditional ones people are use to.
But I want to wear them all.

I love all the princes and the general's son too (mr.Fiction).

I especially loved the thing between the FL & the ML.
I loved how the Fl male dominance was shown, how she went crazy for ladies especially with big tiddes lol

Don't mind the comparisons, give this original a shot!
It has its own unique identity and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Truth about this drama

Okay I advice people to watch this themselves.
A lot of comments were about how the female lead became a dansel in distress and that there were too much scheming towards the FL.

If I had followed anybody i wouldn't have bothered with this show.

Let me just say this. IMO it's a good drama I laughed, i cried, i felt excitement and disappointment I felt every stress and pain I felt satisfactions when the villains suffer.

The female lead did change after the 30th episode I'm not gonna lie to you, but trust me don't follow anything else, in fact she changed for the better that's how I analyzed it.

At first the FL was hot headed ready to chop off anybody's head She wanted. she was thirsty for revenge and I'm not gonna lie... I live for a bad bitch moment!

But she changed for the better now hear me out why I said so, instead of acting on impulse and just thinking about straight killing, she started to really sit and analyze her moves more than she use to.

A bad bitch isn't just one who will chop a head off easily, she became a slayer with her words.

She realized that her actions will get her killed so instead of using weapons to kill and destroy, she uses her words and carefully thought out plans.

Her change of attitude towards how she goes about getting revenge got her favour from all the right people to carry out the killing for her all she had to do was utter a word.
She became a chess player instead of a player on the board.

And that's why she came out triumphant and being the baddest bitch in the end.

The ending tore me to pieces, i won't give spoilers but it also hyped me up when I saw her walking in like the queen she is.

So you see her attitude didn't just change it improved.
Also mentioning many schemes against her? Yes there were so many, she suffered but trust me each scheme is important and with each scheme they don't even realize they were turning her into a even stronger smarter woman. The schemes unintentionally helped her climbed back to the top to clear her birth kingdom's reputation and save the one she came to destroy.

The ML did a damn good job, the villians did their homework in other words they crushed their roles.

The second leads and support leads, i give them a full 10.
