Germany
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable must be the truth.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes)

Hi there, welcome!

Here are some things to know about me:

I'm from a small town in Germany, but it's no place you would know. It's surrounded by woods and fields and it's one of the places with only a few people living on a large area.

I like to call it the German outback.^^

So when I startet college I moved to a bigger city. But if I had a choice I would live in a village or suburb. I'm just no party girl :P

My Drama journey!

If you take a look at my list you may notice that there are a lot of JDramas. That's because I ended up here in 2009 after watching Anime and realizing there is a thing called „live-action“.

So my first Drama was Hana Kimi. -you know the good old japanese version, completely over the top and hilarious to no end. And it still holds a special place in my heart <3

So because my main focus was Jdramas it was a bit strenuous for me to watch a 20/24 episodes long Kdrama. And it still is to this day. Just WHY OH WHY do they fill a perfectly fine storyline with family conflicts which are ridiculous, amnesia, dumb break-ups, etc, I thought. And still do. But it's all about getting used to it. I also got used to the big black hole in my molar…….but you still love your molar

(Ok, bad simile….)

Another problem was their language and clothes in historical Dramas. So ugly! But that's also just another hole in the molar. Someday it stops hurting^^

(Ooooh, good simile!!)

And as I never stopped watching they must be awesome molars.

(Ok, it definitely IS a weird simile……)

Me outside/ in the REAL world:

Softball (women's baseball)

That's my sport. I don't care about the football championship. When all my neighbours create a big riot about football I couldn't care less.

But psssssss! never say it out aloud. As a German you could get crucified for that……....

But I don't watch softball/baseball on TV. It looks so boring if I don't do it myself :P

SHERLOCK HOLMES <3

Whether it's the books or the BBC show I just LOVE him. Cranky, snotty, conceited and genius…..well he is my bad boy XD

Apart from that I also like watching Doctor Who over and over and over and over again^^

Maybe because there are some similarities between the geniuses??!

I basically LOVE nature.

It's been a big part of my life as I've lived very closely to the woods and my family loves biking tours, hiking and so on.

The first sunny days in spring get me so excited I literally feel my heart pounding when I'm outside bathing in the sun.

I've been a scout ever since I started walking.

Now as I take leadership in the group I try to lure the kids out into the nature. And I love it when they get all muddy from top to toe. ^^

In my freetime I do Geocaching.

„Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.“

And it's so much fun as there are millions out there. And especially in Germany. The idea that I walk past hundrets of little boxes I don't know about fascinates me!

So what the heck am I doing here if I love nature? - you may ask

Well I love Dramas just as much….....

Lastly…..

This may shock you, as religion is out of fashion nowadays.

I'm christian and my number one is neither Lee Seung Gi nor Song Joong Ki .

It's Jesus Christ PERIOD
