Money Flower is an extraordinary makjang, while A Beautiful Mind is medical drama meets murder mystery. Though these dramas feature different genres, they both star the very talented Jang Hyuk. In both, he portrays a complex protagonist where his aspirations and motives are continually coming into question. Jang Hyuk’s acting is in quit transfixing in both of these roles. Park Se Young plays a significant role in both of these dramas. It has been quite enjoyable to see how much her character differs between these drama. If you are looking for something a little different, give these dramas a try.

If you loved Oguri Shun in Hana Yori Dango, a natural progression is Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. Hana Kimi has a much lighter and quirky tone, but jdrama is by far my favorite adaption. Yes, I have watched the Taiwanese and Korean Dramas. Oguri Shun, Ikuta Toma and Horikita Maki make up a strong center cast! Ikuta steals the lime light!

Both of these dramas have a high business focus. Both male leads are working to establish their careers using questionable means. Will their commitment to their cause force them to give up the person they care about the most?

Both of these drama have a darker feel. They are based on popular seinen mangas. Each features lead characters that take justice into their own hands by dealing in the crime underworld.

Ayase Haruka stars in both of these dramas. She plays a woman in her late 20s - 30s discovering love for the first time. While Hotaru no Hikari is more of a rom-com, Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu has more of a realistic tone.

Both of these dramas center around college life and friendship. While Honey & Clover has a more slice of life feel, the friendship theme is still very strong. Both of these drama star Narimiya Hiroki as a supporting role. I like the realistic and subdued tone of both of these dramas.

Both of these dramas star young Johnny's idols. The dramas' leads are Arashi Members: Ninomiya Kazunari for Stand Up!! and Matsumoto Jun for Gokusen. Also, Oguri Shun and Narimiya Hiroki are in both supporting casts. They both center around high school life and troubled youth. It's really fun to see these actors' early works.
