Both very low conflict feel good shows that focus mainly on romance during the transition period from university to the working world.

The tone of the two are similar but not, they're both comedic and slice-of-life like but in different ways. However at the core, they both do very well in exploring the lives of doctors and hospitals. Both shows focus on characters a lot, both the doctors who act as our main characters as well as the patient telling their stories in a very realistic and touching way.

Both dramas approach medical cases very similarly without over dramatising it and allow us to connect with the patients/family members that the doctors are tasked with saving.

Whereas for the doctors, Hospital Playlists tries to show a more holistic view of their lives, their families and their hobbies outside of work; while Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim focuses a lot more about the "why are you a medical professional" side to develop the characters. Both approaches has its virtues and makes for very strong characters that are a joy to follow along and watch.

Modern day fantasy stories, with ghosts hanging around. Both sets of characters deal with a muddy past. There are similarities in the cinematic directing, tone and overall feel of the two pieces.
