Sad Hyung, nice drama

Ooooh, I felt so bad for the hyung at the end of the first episode. I wonder how he lived his life all this years. But honestly speaking, he doesn't look very happy (although I find him really good looking, ehehe) and I wonder if he had to spend some time in prison or something (because I think he might have dine something reeeaallly bad to the reporters?!). But I feel really bad for him because he lost his whole family in such a short time.

All in all it was an awesome first episode. I am really glad that I gave it a try. Park Shin Hye's acting seems to have improved and Lee Jong Suk doesn't disappoint either. Moreover there are a lot of other great actors that I recognize from other dramas.

what should I say?

The last 10 minutes were so nerve-wracking. Empress Dowager and El Temur vis-à-vis is really something. Each one of them is really terrifying but when they're together or fighting each other that's like a natural disaster. They're really not easy to deal with. But it really would be a shame if there were something to happen to the Empress because then the Emperor would be alone in his fight against his father-in-law.

Hopefully the king of Goryeo will return soon after finishing off the Turks. That was a really cool fight. What I liked the most was the scene before the Goryeo people went to Turks camps and they raised their swords in a silent oath. The go with the intention to either win or die. Woah, this gave me goosebumps. The feeling of the whole thing. I loved everything about it. The music and simply all of it.

I wonder what exactly will happen in the next episode. [btw why does the preview not only show what will happen in the next episode but in the few next episodes?]

yes yes yes

What an absolute fabulous episode with a big cliffhanger. Oh, I am so looking forward to the next episode. I can't wait to see what will happen now that the Emperor has found out about Sungnyang. What will happen to the Emperor's concubine? I hope she won't be hurt. I really hate that stupid maid for being so materialistic and that she doens't have an ounce of loyalty. Always putting herself first.

What I am also looking forward to is the fight King/Batolu/Bayan. This is getting very interesting. I wonder what is going to happen. Anyway I don't think that this fight against the Turks will last much longer. I am sure the King will soon "return" to Sungnyang and then the whole love triangle thingy will start. Omo

happy ----> sad

This episode started out with a lot of fun. I really had to laugh a lot becasue of Kim Tan & CO. I think there was a lot of improvement in this episode.

We saw a whole new side to Young Do. He and Kim Tan don't seem to hate each other as much as before.

Now there's also some kind of friendship between Young Do and Eun Sang. Although I wonder how long this will last.

Also the relationship between Kim Tan and his mother changed a lot. I simply loved her in this episode.

The only person that didn't change in my opinion Is the Chairman. He's an annoying person. And such an awful father. I really couldn'T like him less.

I wonder what will happen next. Chingus, fighting!

P.S. Guys, is it just me or were there really no "Love is the moment"-moments in the last 2 episodes?

oho

OK, this was not what I expected. I thought this wouldbe some easygoing drama but I seem to have been mistaken. THis drama has actually some depth to it. And the first episode wasn't exactly romantic either and just subtly funny. I found this episode rather tragic, to be honest. But I liked it. It's definitely something to look forward to.

unexpected

This episode was absolute magnificient and gave me a lot of feelings!

I really hate and detest El-Temur, Dang Ki-Se and Yeom Byung-Soo.

El-Temur is such a cocky and thouroughly evil character. Yeom Byung-Soo is a freaked out traitor with a distinctive inferiority complex and Dang Ki-Se is just such a loathsome character That I don't even know what to say about him.

But on the other hand I am absolutely in love with Baek Ahn and Tal-Tal. They are both so cool and I believe that they really care for the Emperor. [Although it's sad that there was no other way to become Emperor than to betray Seung-Nyang]

THe scene were Seung-Nyang was with her father really made me tear up. It was so sad that they didn't have more time to spend together.

Anyway I am really looking forward to the next episode. I think it will be even better than this one was. With Tanasili, the Emperor, Seung-Nyang and stupid Dang Ki-Se.

Tan, fighting!

Wow, this episode. I don't even know what to say. It was so intense and many things happened.

Tan was great in this episode and Young Do as well (I know he is still a little annoying bastard, but I can't help loving him - at least he stopped bullying Eun Sang as he used to).

The ending was great. I loved the way Tan revealed everything for the sake of his biological mother. She deserves it. I actually like her a lot and hate to see her suffer. Although I think he is doing it for Eun Sang's as well. Becasue if he can't stand up for his mother how will he be able to stand up for his love? Great move. This way he's building up courage and facing his father with all he's got. Tan, fighting!

good

this episode had all the ingredients for a good episode and in a wider sense for a good drama.

This episode teached us about the relationship between some of the characters. And most importantly the relationship between Tan and Young Do. We now know why Young Do is the jerk he is and what made him destroy his friendship with Tan. He is a quite destroyed character.

I enjoy watching the relationship of Kim Tan'S biologigal mom and Eun Sang's mom. They're so cool together and never fail to make me laugh.

I also respected Tan a lot in this episode. In dramas rich guys usually assume that their relationship with the poor girl will work out some way and they run themselves into the relationship without further reflecting. But Tan promised Eun Sang that he'll figure out a way that both of them can date without her (or him) being hurt. So that they don't have to fear anyone. I really appreciated that. Furthermore I love his honesty.

The only disturbing thing right now is Rachel. I really don'T like her and I wish she could just disappear.

uh-oh

it was another very good episode. But the ending was kind of heartbreaking. It's so confusing .. on the one hand I hate bullies and on the other hand Young Do is a bully, but I like him so so much! I really wish he could change his attitude. Then EUn Sang would definitely like him more and would be less afraid of him. Her being afraid of him is definitely not the right foundation for a sane relationship. I really have so much symapthy for most of the characters. (I only dislike Young Do's father. annoying fella)

good

Although there were some scenes in the first 2 episodes that made me feel really uncomfortable, these kinds of scenes are hopefully decreasing in the future (at least there weren't that many in this episode). And with uncomfortable I don't mean scenes that give me second hand embarrassment but the ones that show people make fun of Joo Eun because she is overweight.

All in all I liked this episode a lot. Especially the scenes were the 3 guys and Joo Eun trained together. Although the training seemed hard, Joon Sung and Ji Woong (aka fake John Kim) and Joo Eun seemed to enjoy themselves a little bit and I absolutely love how Ji Woong is like a puppy when he's with Joo Eun.

Now I'm soooo looking forward to seeing how Hoo Eun will react to real John Kim's confession. Will she believe him, or will she think that he's hoaxing her? I also want to know how these 2 knew each other from the past (I think I've read that somewhere).

I REALLY should've waited until it's completed ...

I don't know why I'm still surprised with every new episode that I watch, but this drama really keeps getting better and better which is awful because this makes me want to know what's going to happen next so so so badly and unfortunately I don't belong to those people who are very patient.

This episode was really interesting and I liked just everything about it. I loved how Hyeon and his mini-squad worked together to help find Ji An. Although it was also somehow really creepy at the same time because we know that Lawyer Jung (although I'm not 100% sure if he really is Min (even though it's most likely, I found the revelation to be too fast and too easy. I also believe that the writers intentionally make us believe that this keyboard guy (Eun Bok) may also be a potential Min, but I don't know about this ...)) is a murderer and we still don't really know about Jun Ho. Although I don't think that he's Lee Jun Yeong, I believe that he's some kind of creep (he may be a harmless creep but we can't eliminate the possibility of him being a very murderous creep) after seeing the way he communicated with the murderer's girlfriend. That really sent chills down my spine.

Anyway this whole drama makes me feel like a detective and I find myself rooting for the characters and loving them. Probably more than I should.

But what kind of surprises me is the fact that I'm honestly shipping Hyeon and Ji An although I believe that this drama is pretty good even without a romantic plotline. But I somehow reallyl want to see these 2 together, because their relationship is this great. It's a kind of silent affection that's between them and you know that they adore each other (even if one of them doesn't seem to know yet while the other is pretty much aware that she has feelings for him).

But the kiss at the ending actually caught me off guard. I didn't expect it. Like at all. And I'm not sure if I'm liking it because at this point I can't see them have a romantic relationship. Especially since Hyeon doesn't see her that way (yet). And I really don't want to see Ji An get hurt. She's my baby girl and I want her to be happy without feeling rejected.

But maybe that's for the best. This way Min won't want to kill her immediately if/when he finds out that she is dating his cherished hyung.

peak of sadness

I'm so emotional right now, you don't understand. Even though I know that it doesn't make any sense, but I found this episode to be a 100 times sadder than the 14th episode. I can't even explain why. But I was crying nearly throughout the whole first half of the episode and also at the very end. The scenes and the character's emotions got to me and I couldn't help but feeling the heartbreak they were probably going through. That was just too much. My heart wasn't able to bear all of this sadness.

Thank god the second half was less painful. It was so satisfying to see the evil guys blaming each other so that they can get out safe out of this whole mess. But at the end justice will serve and I can't wait to see all of these trashy people that can't even be counted as human beings being jailed.

awesome

This episode was really great. I loved everything about it. The cute moments and the sad moments. Everything was good. And again I was so grossed out by Gi Tae's father. He is a person with such an ugly personality and I think that he should be more than ashamed of hisself. I really hope that he'll get what he deserves.

The thing that I enjoyed most in this episode was the scene where Jang Mi and Gi Tae's mother shared some alcohol. Although they weren't exactly very friendly, the discussion was still kind of warm. They are like frenemies and I really like their relationship.

I also liked when Gi Tae called his mother and talked to her about his fears. For me that was really a surprise. Although he's right in thinking that Jang Mi wants acknowledgement, I don't think that she is like his mother. His mom wants to be acknowledged by anyone (I'm exaggerating here) while Jang Mi wants to be acknowledged by the people that are important to her or at least by people that matter. But don't we all? But I still understand that Gi Tae is afraid of leading a life similar to his parents.

Now then, I am going to watch the last episode ^_^

yaay

One of the best things in this episode was the encounter of Song Yi's dongsaeng and Min Joon. It was more than hilarious and I expect some more nice scenes with them.

But I am honstly afraid that Jae Kyung will hurt Hui Kyung. That would be too cruel. If/when he finds out that his little brother knows about him being a psychopath, he definitely will try to kill him. Ugh.

Well, let's see what will happen next.
