Peach Girl was a decent drama. I know there were some rather negative reviews on it, but I've seen much worse for dramas. The story's plot is rather addicting. My brother isn't one for chick flicks or girly shows, but he was hooked from the first episode just because of the main antagonist. You can't help but want to see how the story ends due to all the antagonist's scheming and all the bad scenarios that fall down on the main character. Overall I didn't care for the main character. She came off as kinda crabby and unfriendly throughout the series. If I were a guy, I wouldn't see why the two guys like her so much if it weren't for her true care and love for others. To me, her attitude would be unpleasant and uncomfortable to be around. But minus that, I thought the characters were played well. The music wasn't all too memorable, but I still found them enjoyable. This drama for some reason gets better and better every time I watch it. It doesn't get old to me. Overall, I didn't think this drama was nearly as bad as some of the previous reviews.

This drama was nothing like I had expected it to be. I thought it was going to be a very deep, romantic drama with a lot of emotional connection. However, I think the connection between the vampire and the main character was closer to a father-to-daughter adoration than anything else. When I hear the word 'vampire' I expect something entirely different than what's portrayed here. The acting wasn't bad. I don't think the actors were the problem. I think the drama was just lacking in major events or bonding. The drama felt half empty and I can't pinpoint why. I can't recall a single song from this drama, and I'd remember one if there had been something worth remembering. I have no intentions to watch this drama again because it left me rather disappointed from start to finish.

Story: Heartbreaking, but a story that needed to be told nonetheless. This goes to prove that justice isn't always served up as much as it should be. This will have you fighting with yourself whether or not to look at the screen, because it tugs at an area deep inside your heart. Have a box of tissues ready along with something to relieve your anger and frustrations on, because this is going to reach in and pull emotions out of you that can't be ignored. Be warned this is a movie meant for mature audiences because there are many scenes with graphic images and dark concepts not meant for the weak of heart.

Acting/Cast: Phenomenal acting and great cast. This must have been hard for the children to act out. It takes real skill to portray the emotions in the way these kids did without having actually experiencing such events. They were truly talented. Only thing I'm left wondering is if the people who portrayed the antagonists had to take breaks in between scenes due to the overall stress of the story. This had to have been hard on the actors as well due to the overall story.

Music: I only recall a couple songs being played in the movie, but the instrumentals and music were decent.

Rewatch Value: This was an emotionally hard video to watch, and to many it might be too hard to watch again. But I could see myself watching it again, and possibly trying to get a friend to watch it with me as well.

Overall, this was a great movie, but you better be emotionally prepared for what you're about to see. If you're expecting an ending where justice is served in full, you'll be very disappointed. I highly recommend this film to someone who wants their hearts to be truly touched and for someone who wants to see the darker realities that exist in today's world. To me, this is a must-see. In fact, I think this could have easily been drawn out to be turned into a minidrama series.

I ran across this drama one day and at first, I thought I was in for a real treat. But halfway throughout the drama I gradually started to lose interest. For some reason I started to feel each episode was rather repetitive. Not enough to keep me interested. There didn't seem to be enough 'fillers'. A lot of empty spaces that could have used more events, dialogue or character development and bonding. I had expected more connection between the main character and the doctor, but to me it felt like they kinda remained in that awkward friends-acquaintances stage, which left me feeling disappointed. I'll give it credit for being a real tearjerker at some points though, which I always love in a drama. The choice of actors and overall acting were great. The characters were great. The music was pretty and relaxing, but I can only recall hearing maybe 2 or 3 songs being played throughout the series. Kinda like the same ones were played over and over again. For being a family-based drama it was worth watching though. You'll learn some new family values and maybe discover more about yourself on the way. I may or may not watch the drama again. It's not on my priorities list though. Just a possibility.

For being a remake, I was really satisfied with this series. I was expecting quite the letdown, since I'm such an avid fan of the first one. However, I wasn't all that disappointed in this series like I thought I'd be. They did quite a few tweaks to the storyline, but if you pay close attention to the original, each of those new events in the new version are still mentioned via dialogue in the first one. In the remake, they just decided to focus on some of what was said, expanding it.. The only thing I kinda missed in this series compared to the original is the spontaneous and random bits of humor squeezed into each episode. Those moments that were so unexpected, unnecessary and just plain goofy, leaving you chuckling out of pure dombfoundedness and confusion in the original...that factor wasn't there nearly as much. The actors stayed true to the original characters' personalities. I wasn't disappointed in the least bit regarding the new Nakatsu, Ashiya, Sano or Nakao. But considering Sano is supposed to be quite the looker, I thought the actor's appearance was a little off. They did a great job nonetheless. From what I can recall, the music sounded pretty much like the original music, with a few tweaks and additions. I'd watch this again no questions asked. Overall, nothing can beat the original, but this wasn't a failure in the making. I think it was a success.

I enjoyed this drama quite a bit. It didn't ever really get boring or old to me. There was enough going on to keep me watching. The acting was okay, but the main character did some things to her face that just seemed out of place or awkward at times, despite the drama having a hint of awkwardness throughout. I thought there was a memorable amount of overacting. Some characters just didn't seem realistic to me. Too cheezy or too weird. But you'll fall in love with them nonetheless. I don't recall many of the songs, besides the beginning theme song and one other one. It wasn't bad though. I'd watch this drama again down the road when I've forgotten a majority of what happened in the series. Overall, it wasn't my favorite drama, but I really enjoyed watching it.

This was one the first dramas I watched and is in fact what got me hooked on foreign dramas. I gave the story a rating of 8.5 because the overall plot is rather common in today's dramas...Good girl-bad boy accidentally fall in love. But despite that there is so much that happens throughout the drama that you'll forget about those overused themes. In fact, it can be quite the emotional rollercoaster. Just when things are starting to seem too good to be true, something else is thrown into the pot to keep it boiling and flavorful. But, what fun would a drama be per se without the 'drama?' I'll admit I really felt for Jandi and Gu Jun Pyo throughout the series. In fact, I was rather teary-eyed in countless scenes. One thing I didn't care for was where the drama ended. I felt like they could have and should have done more with the way they ended things. Considering everything the two main characters went through, I feel like I needed more for the ending to leave me feeling satisfied and hopeful. They could have had more to do with Ga Eul and Woo Bin, since we don't really get to know much about them throughout the drama. I gave the acting/cast a rating of 9. The acting and the cast was amazing in my opinion. Yeah, there are times where it seems to be a little too cheezy or unrelatable with some of the characters...but they remain the same throughout the drama. So maybe it wasn't overacting, but rather being very loyal to the people they portray. I gave the music a rating of 9. I really enjoyed the music. It was very catchy and pleasant to listen to. The only song I didn't particularly care for was the one at the beginning of each episode. Didn't impress me much to begin with and for some reason, where the song ended off at the beginning leaves me kinda hanging. I gave the rewatch value a rating of 10 because I immediately rewatched the drama after finishing it, and I'm on my third time watching it. Doesn't get old. Doesn't get boring. Overall I thought the show deserved a 10 because despite it's flaws, it was a great drama. I love the characters. I love the storyline. I love the music. I love the drama altogether!

This was an amazing drama and the special was not in the least bit disappointing. I first got to watch this in Japanese class, and the whole class was hooked from the first episode. The story has a lot going on, so you don't really get a chance to become bored with it. This series has such a strange sense of humor that I've not seen anywhere else before. Maybe it's just the perfect timing, but there were numerous points where I had to catch my breath out of laughter before continuing to watch. The acting was great. Yeah, there were some cheezy moments which were really overacted, but it made the characters more profound and realistic somehow. You can't help but like each and every character because they each have their own little quirks. The music was enjoyable, but not something you'll remember for years. It's definitely something you can watch again. Overall, a good series and an enjoyable time!

One of my least favorite dramas to watch. The idea of the story drew me in, but after getting about halfway through the drama, I had to push myself to finish it. I hate leaving things unfinished though and I had to know whether things would get better (or keep going downhill) in the series, so I forced myself to keep watching. The drama is a constant emotional rollercoaster that drags you along with it. Just when things look a little better, you find yourself going downhill again. You'll be left frustrated, angry, heartbroken and hurting for the main character and maybe even a little depressed despite knowing it's just a series. That and for being a romance drama, I expected more kissing, more deep emotions, more connection. Despite the actual movie, the actors were great choices and they did a great job throughout the series. Even shows with good actors can still be a disappointment if there isn't enough to keep the drama afloat. The music was mediocre. Nothing to write home about, but not intolerable either. Unfortunately the same songs are played over and over again, so you'll probably get them stuck in your head. I don't know if I can see myself watching it again because each episode left me more and more emotionally drained. That and overall there wasn't much to keep me drawn to the series. Overall, I wouldn't say this drama was horrible, but I'd prefer to put it on the back burner rather than watching it again any time soon.

The Pains of High School

I absolutely fell in love with the cast and the story. I was hooked from episode 1.

One thing I loved about this series was how you get a glimpse into the personal lives and struggles of so many of the characters. Not just the main character and antagonists.

The music is super catchy and conveys the right emotions for the right scenes.

The actors did great in this film. So much so that I could find myself sympathizing even with the least likeable of characters.

This drama made me cry more than I have ever cried watching anything. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good high-school based drama with all the common struggles that students face in their youth.

Let me start by saying this was such a unique idea for a movie! I decided to watch this not knowing what to think of the overall plot, but it turned out to be a good movie. The idea of having a transgender woman turn out to be a father to a son was a really creative twist. It's not something you hear about often in today's world and it made this movie distinct.

The story was what originally drew me in, and after the credits rolled I thought it was worth the watch. In my opinion it wasn't over the top and remained emotionally mellow throughout the film. It was cute, heartwarming and left me feeling emotions I couldn't even really think of words for. It was a change from my recent choices in melodramatic movies and dramas. For once I didn't need to have a box of tissues handy. It had me giggling a couple times which is always good.

Overall the cast was ok for me. Only a couple faces really stood out for me that I recognize from previous films and dramas. Son Ji-Hyeon's character irritated me a little bit in the sense that she clearly has feelings for Jun-Seo but denies those feelings when with him. In fact, she seemed rather cold and insensitve when around him. Whether that was due to her own emotional turmoil (loving him, but fearing his reaction upon discovering she was originally a man upon confession) or other reasons I just think it wouldn't have hurt the film for her to be more affectionate towards him. I really enjoyed Kim Ji Suk's role in this movie since the last thing I saw him in was Personal Taste. It was a nice change from being a shallow, selfish character to a loving, openly expressive man who doesn't hide his feelings. His role was sweet and loveable. Other than Kim Ji Suk nobody really left a mark in my memory, but that could just be because it was a mild film.

Overall, the music didn't really stand out to me all that much. I don't recall any of the songs from the film.

When I'm home alone and just want a relaxing movie, I might watch this again. It was enjoyable and I felt good after watching it.

This was an amazing drama and the special was not in the least bit disappointing. It stayed true to the previous episodes and all the feelings are still there. The sense of humor, bittersweet heartache, and vibe were all still there. The acting was just as good. It left me feeling a lot better since the ending of the last episode was definitely more of a cliff-hanger. I don't know what more to say other than you shouldn't be disappointed because the special stayed true to the series.

Watched this movie having doubts, because it's not every day you see a movie about a sex doll who came to life. I don't know what I expected to go on in the story, but something a tad bit deeper would have made it more memorable for me. The concept of the story was what drew me in, but upon finishing the movie I was left feeling like something was still missing and incomplete. Perhaps a continuation or a sequel?

The cast I thought did a good job, especially the main protagonist. She managed to find that border line between having the physicality of a plastic doll versus having one of a robot. Many others who would have tried, but only needed up looking like the latter. I loved her childish inncence, joy, appreciation and curiosity for all that she experienced. The acting was decent, but I feel like there could have been more depth on all the characters .

The music for me wasn't anything particularly memorable. But it fit the movie... laid - back and unrushed.

I don't think I would consider re-watching this. It's one of those movies where you feel like you saw everything there was to see the first time. Nothing too memorable. Maybe some good truthful quotes, but nothing eye-opening. gives us a peek into people's lives, how empty they can be, and also gives us a peek into some of their true colors.

Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed with the plot. So much more could have been done throughout, while some of the less insignificant scenes done without. I've seen worse, but I've also seen better.

I thought this was a great movie. The story was very interesting and had a little bit of everything you'd expect in this type of film. The acting was just as I would have expected from such a movie. I don't recall any poor acting or overacting whatsoever. The music was beautiful and seemed to fit perfectly. This kind of film doesn't seem to get old or boring because you become emotionally connected to the story. Overall, I think this is a good film if you don't mind bittersweet endings.

Let me start by saying, if you are looking for a happy ending for a drama, keep scrolling because this won't do it for you. However, if you don't mind bittersweet or heart-wrenching dramas, feel free to give this one a go. The storyline is great. Love triangles, frenemies, misunderstandings,etc...everything you'd come to expect in a drama. The storyline didn't seem to get boring for me. But the ending made me wait a week before considering to start a new drama. I became emotionally attached to the characters and it was hard to let them go from my mind. The acting was overall pretty decent, but there were times where I couldn't exactly interpret what emotions the character Xiao Fei was supposed to be expressing. Sometimes it felt like her facial expressions were emotionally stiff and unrealistic. I love Gu Hye Sun's work, but her acting wasn't my favorite in this series. Another thing to keep in mind in this drama is that Gu Hye Sun is Korean, (and from what I could tell, not fluent in Taiwanese) so she is lip-syncing throughout the series. I couldn't tell if she was trying to lip sync in Taiwanese or if she was allowed to lip sync in her native language...Korean. All I know is it threw me off constantly and I had to eventually find a way to tune it out in order to not go crazy. Plus, another note, it appears they used two different version of a voice recording to replace Gu Hye Sun's voice. One is worse than the other and extremely annoying at times. I absolutely loved the character Lei Wu Wu. The actor did a phenomenal job portraying a creepy, fashionably weird, overly-excited, goofy, and loveable character all at once. I couldn't help but fall in love with him. Every time I saw him I couldn't resist a smile. I think you'll find something likeable in most of the characters. The music was great. I liked it so much I bought the soundtrack (which cost about 30 bucks). I can definitely see myself watching this again down the road once I've forgotten a majority of the plot. Overall, an okay series if you can tune out occasional awkward acting and lip-syncing.
