Unintentionally Funny

Ok, so maybe I'm not the target audience of this drama. I haven't read the source material and I'm 32 years old but this was so unintentionally hilarious. Also to preface I don't believe in Love at 1st sight, I find the whole concept childish and shallow. First of all I love the male lead. I think I might have rated it so high because dayumn! Anyway the female lead leads much to be desired. Maybe it's written in to the script to act like an 8 year old who is bewildered at all times and has no concept of what the real world is like but I think it was an acting choice. If I saw one more surprised Pikachu face from her when the kissed or hugged, something they did quite a lot I was going to scream. Also, is it not stalking if you're classically handsome, cause that man definitely stalked her. She'd be just walking down the street, or in school, or in a restaurant and bam, that man would show up. Does he have a GPS device on her, why is he always there? Why does she have no spine, isn't it hard to stand up? Why did she continue working for a man who sexually assaulted her? That's not normal, her letting her friend date her boyfriend too because she saw him on the street and said she fell for him, what a toxic friend she was! Actually all of her friends were a bit toxic, that one guy was her friend just because he was in love with her. I liked that she realized that she needed to change but ugh, too little too late. I had so many unintentional laughs while watching this. Their kiss in a closet where he smirked at a guy that was interested in her was hot. It just seemed somewhat wrong, their whole relationship because he was definitely an adult doing adult things with someone who acted like a child. So many of their actions were just inconceivable, they wouldn't happen. IDK I might watch again just to see the male lead's face but he pops up in a lot of jdramas so I don't even really need to. Yeah, this show was a mess!

Ughhhh!

I literally just finished watching this, oh sorry scratch that I didn't finish because the last idk 30 mins of the show are nowhere to be found I watched the last 3 infuriating mins via an unsubbed video on YouTube. So let's begin, grab some popcorn!

I'm gonna start off with the fact that the FL made some really strange and unexplained choices in this I prefer rando ideas to be explained especially when they make no sense whatsoever. Also the way she acted when she first got to Bangkok WTF? Ok, but she ended up being a good character in the end. The freaking Mary Sue ML self sacrificing bullshit son of a bitch though, can go step on a Lego or get attacked by a swarm of bees. Eff you and the horse you rode in on! I hated how he never put himself first and was portrayed as so perfect. You supposedly love this girl yet you continually side with her evil sister and you push her away in the most hurtful ways when you know she has feelings for you. Even going so far as marrying her sister to protect her because she is carrying another man's baby and after she tries to harm the woman you love for idk the millionth time you've finally had enough. I hope you die, you are self sacrificing to the point of making everyone around you miserable! The FL deserved better, the ML should've gotten over himself way before the last idk 15 mins of the show. I'm so mad. Honestly and why do people think he is so perfect he's not. You need to listen to BTS and Love yourself dude and stop being such a high and mighty pain in the ass to the woman you supposedly love but I doubt he does because if you love somebody you don't treat them like that.

I'm angry and I'm frustrated! They only kissed twice btw which is not satisfactory to me. I'm sad I wasted my time watching this and also wtf every English sub channel has the episodes all messed up I had to put google translate on and watch episode 10 in Vietnamese and this is after I realized I missed like 3 episodes because they were out of order I just thought they did a lot off screen . The revenge plots were to frequent and numerous and they added little to the show in the end. Best character was her perfect cousin and her aunt as they didn't completely suck and everything they said made a lot of sense. I hate the ML I really can't get over it. It's 5:40 am right now and I'm boiling with rage I can't sleep! So yeah I wouldn't start it'll leave you livid!

I liked it but it was missing things

Okay, it was cute, I normally really hate mafia stories. I mean, I guess as far as the 3 male leads they weren't bad people they just defended themselves when others would shoot at or attack them, I just find them a bit stupid, maybe cause I'd never date a criminal especially a murderer. The acting was good. Was the female lead wearing contacts to make her eyes lighter? Her eyes were beautiful. That head shot they have on this site is super unflattering and makes her look about 10 years older than she really is. Male lead was pretty as well, his hair was ridiculous, it looked like an ice cream cone or a swiss cake roll. But he's really cute, those lips, ugh! I liked the relationship between her friend and his assistant, IDK if they know this and I don't have a lot of experience myself, but you can move your lips and faces when you kiss. I don't mean go crazy and be all over each other it's just placing lips on top of each other is so weak, that's barely a kiss, I can make Barbies do that, left me wanting more. Watch the 2 leads they are actually kissing!

Things I would've liked to see- They never addressed the fact that the MLs loved her because she looked like their 1st love. I'd be like you are interested in me because I look, sound, and act like someone else? I'm not her! I mean I do feel like they both truly fell in love with her, for her but I'd have some reservations if I were her like do they love me or Botan? They should have at least addressed it because that's a normal reaction. Uncool! I also felt like the ML, especially after breaking up with her, putting her in danger, almost marrying someone else, and trying to push her onto his best friend needed to say I'm sorry! I mean sure he got back with her and saved her life multiple times, but I still feel like an apology was in order, like sorry for making you upset for weeks and breaking your heart! Also, in the end he was like you can't live without me. you love me, I'd want some reciprocation on his end, cause that's all well and good but I'd want to here that he loves me and he can't live without me. The girl who he almost got married too as well, were they enemies in a past life? That would be the only reason I can think of as to why she might feel she needs to take 2 guys from the FL and upset her. She really had no cause, she was the other woman and stole her BF of 10 years, then when the FL moved on was like actually I've changed my mind I'll take him instead. In the words of the great philosopher, Cardi B, "What was the reason?!" Anyway I'm glad he and his mom saw through her in the end. Also his mom was the MVP! Honestly, I loved her, she could've done much better than his dad! I'm glad the evil lady got hers in the end and realized she needed to focus on herself and her job before getting into a relationship. I felt like it was showing that she started on the path to growth and that made me happy. Also the evil guy was defeated. I was happy the Male and Female lead were together in the end and that he had reconciled the 2 gangs and everything was peaceful and good. If it were me he'd have a bit of splaining to do and for a short bit I'd be wanting him to work towards making atoning for what he put me through.

Ugh!

What an irredeemable bastard, like honestly.... HONESTLY! Nobody would stick around for his clownery. I wanted the ending to be a eff around and find out and what he would find out is that she didn't love him after everything he put her through! Like yeah whatever she loved him but omg the bar is so low for men already stop continually lowering it! Let's go down a laundry list of his sins. Shall we? Starting from when they were kids- Called her duckling, as in ugly, cheated on her with her bully, continuously embarrassed her in front of her classmates, for what? Caring about you? Made her feel worthless and broke up with her in front of a large audience. Now as an adult- After she saved you, you blamed her and thought she was behind it, Basically called her a slut multiple times, hurt her physically, hurt her emotionally, cheated on her multiple times (Emotionally and physically), made her cry, put her in danger, her was never there for her when she needed him, The night she was attacked he jumped out of another woman's bed to help her but only because she was nearly killed, sure he didn't sleep with her but his shirt was off and he was making out with her in her bed (What would've happened had he not taken that call), continually ran into another woman's arms, never believed her, continued to call her duckling even though she was clearly a swan, continued to make the wrong choices and told her he didn't love her and hated her multiple times, Pretended he was gay to stop her from getting married to you (let's not talk about how this damages and already marginalized group of people, tone deaf much!), told his friend to go after her but ended up getting mad and running to his side piece every time she so much as looked at him. Made her feel like she was worthless, I mean I know I've forgotten things but what an utter asshole and he expected me to feel sorry for him? No way, go die! Honestly a waste of space of a person and character. He should've jumped out of that air balloon at the end. Or been stabbed or hit by a car Idc he's a bastard!

What did she do, her sins hmmmm...... Love him, be faithful, protect him, save his life multiple times, support him, I think her worst sin was marrying him to save her family's house but other than help her family and by doing so inadvertently protect him I don't know if she did anything wrong. Seriously, you deserve so much more! I think you should go through with your plan to castrate the man, he deserves worse!

I was engaged but mostly because I wanted bad things to happen to the ML! She forgave him much too fast. Well done, now he thinks he can treat you like a doormat and you'll just lie down and take it. He's the worst and she was cool for a while but accepting that loser back! NO, JUST NO! I'm so angry!

Also the little sister should've ended up with the 2nd ML's assistant they were mad adorable together. That dude was great and 2nd ML was obnoxious! He also complicated the relationship between the ML and FL too even causing some of the ML's behavior but honestly dude you've got free will! It was obvious who the villain was after you met all the main characters. Anyway so yeah, I honestly wish no ill will upon the actor who played the male lead but if I had the chance I'd grab the character he plays out of the TV and throw him down a flight of stairs. He deserves worse! Dang, I think I'm a grudge holder! I also really hate cheaters. Stay married for the year don't get involved with anyone, if you want to divorce, divorce, don't start dating while you are married even if you're not in love, uncool ass wipe! Uncool! Best character hands down though is her gay assistant. I wish you peace, love and prosperity, god speed gay man! Keep making the world a better place!

I've just finished and I'm livid! Urgh I'm so mad!

To start off with, despite the terrible dubbing and over the top acting, I was really into this story. I liked the plot line. The leads had good chemistry, albeit a slightly toxic relationship, and the progression of the story was good. That all changed in the latter 3rd of the drama. His half brother turns into a cartoonish villain and my new least favorite drama character. Buckle up folks, you're in for a rant!

So, the story starts out with FL's child going to the hospital after an accident. The over the top acting was wow, soap operaesque. Then there's the awkward revelation of the child's paternity. Seriously, why was it so awkward? She literally grabs this calm AF man and says you have to save our son because there's this over arching plot of them having a rare blood type (We'll come back to it). He's like wtf lady I don't even know you? Then after learning about the child's paternity ML sues the FL for full custody and wins, while basically calling her a gold digging tramp at every turn. You later find out that after the night they conceived their child, he told her to never speak of their relations that night and never speak to him again and paid her to leave. What right do you have to be angry? She went along with your wishes after you treated her like a prostitute and tossed her out like yesterday's garbage. She kept your child a secret from you because you told her to go away! Yeah, maybe she should've told you in the end but she had no idea how you would react.

So, FL, after losing custody of her child, in her depressed state starts hanging out with her lawyer, male lead's half brother (You don't find this out until much later but I thought it was obvious from the beginning). This man is the world's most awful person who is using her to get back at his brother. ML is in a relationship with an actress and she basically sucks. She broke up with his half brother for him, hence the wanting revenge. ML is a man who said he'd never marry you or have babies with you, why d you want that, you might be scheming and suck but you still deserve love, honestly you'd probably not be scheming or suck if you just actually went out there and found someone who reciprocated your feelings. ML is a real charmer. Anyway ML is jealous of FL's relationship with his brother and starts to realize maybe he has feelings for her. He begins to let her visit her child on occasion and gives up partial custody to her when he realizes how she's not the bad person he initially thought she was and it's also hurting his son that his mom, the woman he's spent every day with and who has raised him since he was born, isn't around. So, male lead, after treating FL like utter garbage, wants to get back together but not before dumping his scheming gf who basically tries to trap him in marriage and even after they break up they still are pretending to be in a relationship. She's really not a problem anymore though, in the grand scheme of things.

ML pursues FL but she (lies and) says she fell out of love with him when he stole her child away from her and was an utter douche canoe, honestly. Snaps for female lead although the delivery could've been more convincing. Then blah blah blah weeks pass, younger brother is fully in love with FL. I like how she never leads him on though and actively pushes him away, only saying I like you as a friend and wouldn't want to lose my best friend when he asks for more. So ML is continuing his pursuit of FL and one thing leads to another the relationship builds a bit before they smash one night at her house and they move in together with their son. IDK, although I liked it I felt like the ML's personality changes a bit too quickly after that night. Unless she has some magical vagina I just don't see it. His mom hates her, treats her horribly. and thinks she's a gold digging whore. Brother is being a prick and is always upset she chose his older brother, the father of her child who she's always been in love with. Stop acting like a toddler you're a grown a** adult! Then ML and FL get married but don't tell anyone, resulting in cuteness and sexy times.

FL tries to help his bio dad, who abandoned him, get the sons to stop fighting and hopefully find his way back into his son's life (ML). This man literally had nothing to do with you for 30 years, if it were me I'd write him off and never see him again, screw him! Honestly, there is such a heart breaking scene of his dad and his brother ignoring him and driving away from him when he was like 8 and came to their house to show his dad his good grades. I couldn't forgive him. (I've never forgiven Alex Rodriguez for promising to come back after showering and sign my 4 year old brother's baseball at a game, when he was in the minor leagues and never doing so, My brother is 33 now and doesn't even remember) Dad also needs a liver transplant and has that special blood type which ML also has (See, I told you we'd come back to it!). Anyway after some more clownery or maybe you'd class it as heartfelt discussion and apologies, he gives his dad a lobe of his liver and forgives him for 30 years of pain and heartbreak after a single conversation. No, sorry, doesn't track for me.

Here is where this show goes off the rails and made me dislike the latter part of the drama. Brother, being the toddler who can't stand that he lost to his brother (Who BTW is much more unfortunate in the grand scheme of things than you) drugs FL and sexually assaults her. Oh and bonus, he also has it photographed. She wakes up in his apartment (fully clothed btw) in a daze not realizing she was possibly raped the night before (BTW they don't make it clear I think we're supposed to think she was just sexually assaulted which honestly not that much better) like wtf???? Anyway the pictures of the "affair" are shown to the ML and he kicks her out. Good riddance girl, you deserve better! But her bans her from seeing her child which is an awful thing to do, although I guess I can understand him doing so, he's hurt but that being said it's not your kid's fault. That makes brother start to feel a tinge of remorse and then he feels a lot more remorse when the FL finds out she's pregnant with ML's child again and has been abandoned all over again! History repeating itself. This still doesn't make the abuser come clean even though she repeatedly begs him to. That man would never rest if it were me I would ruin his life and be there at every turn telling him to come clean, I'd stalk him, he'd never rest, he'd do it to end the incessant torture! Not that at this point I'd want the ML back but I'd deserve to see my child and I'd deserve a clean name! She starts to neglect herself and gets really depressed after ML denies he's the baby's father. Dude, uncool, you know that kid is yours. She and brother get into a car together and while struggling over the wheel because she's hysterical and driving erratically they crash. She's injured and brother is in critical condition and comatose. ML tells her he'll take the fall, they try him for murder which like what, his brother is still alive! Who did he murder exactly? Brother runs into court at the last minute and saves ML from going to jail says it was an accident and that he was also at fault. Wow, thanks for finally doing the right thing months too late!

Then brother comes clean about the pictures and says he drugged the FL and made it look like they were together and he's sorry and ML just forgives him. That man assaulted your pregnant wife! Kill him or do something! This is not a hug it out scenario, that man belongs in jail or he at least should be handed a restraining order because he's clearly obsessed with your wife and has tried to rape her twice before! Anyway female lead has already run away. No one can find her. There are so many moments in this drama where people are lost or run away and they'll spend most of the episode searching for them. It's honestly a problem, go home, read a book, watch a movie, or a better drama than this, stop running away!

Long story short ML finds female lead who, even though it's been like 3 weeks in my estimation, is super preggo! She doesn't want to take him back (Snaps for female lead) but ends up taking him back in the end (Slaps for female lead) because he falls down after chasing her it was very strange and I don't get it. I mean I know she still has feelings for the guy but I think her forgiving him could've been for a different reason. She then forgives the man that sexually assaulted her, a man who she considered her best friend, someone she just wanted to have a better relationship with his brother. He betrayed her trust and took advantage of her. This man assaulted you when you were pregnant with his brother's child. He tried to ruin your life and made you go through your pregnancy alone because he wouldn't admit he did anything wrong. This man belongs in jail but not before you kick him in the cajones, he's obsessed with you get a restraining order, and never speak to him again, he's dead to you. No, she just forgives him. I'm so mad! HOW COULD YOU FORGIVE HIM???????? I'd kill him, but that's just me personally, you do you boo, except don't because you suck and you have no backbone and it's infuriating at this point. Then she has a difficult pregnancy and delivery and you think they are not going to put me through all of this torture only for things to basically be set right (except for judicially) only for her to die in the end! But she's fine and they have a daughter and all is well and good except WHY IS THAT MAN NOT IN PRISON? Why is he around you at all? Why are you taking family photos with him? He's evil! People forgive and forget in this drama way too easily! When I feel there are drama characters I don't like I imagine them in front of a big truck, barreling down the road, about to mow them down, Brother from this series has taken the lead in the queue, he will be casualty number 1 followed by the slimy half brother from Jao Sao Jum Yorm, the creepy chan sister from Guilty, and Secretary Kim's brother in law. They all didn't get adequately punished for their wrong doings and were forgiven too easily. Does this make me a sociopath? I don't mean the actors, they're probably fine people. I mean the fictional characters they play.

So yeah, I only gave it as many stars as I did because the first 30 or so episodes are alright but it was ruined for me. Dear writers how dare you, whoever dubbed this deserves to be put in the stocks, and tone down the acting folks we get it you're sad. stop wallowing in hysterical sorrow on the floor, calm down it'll be ok.

My favorite Thai Drama

Okay, yes the kidnappings were a bit much and I sort of didn't understand the motives of the villain but I really love this drama. I mean it could be the fact that I'm deeply in love with the male lead but I continue to go back and watch it. I think the 2 leads have good chemistry and I liked how steadfast the FL was in divorcing her cheating husband, you gave him multiple chances and he squandered them, leave him. I like how he asked her something to the effect of if you love me why are you leaving me and she replied with I love myself too and I was like yes, girl take care of you. He fucked around and found out. That being said I hated how he was obsessed with her through the rest of the drama even though he continued cheating on her. He was an absolute waste of oxygen. I like how the story connected the past and the present and how she was able to fix broken familial bonds. I liked how she was trying too finalize her divorce before getting too involved with the ML even though if we look, historically, he came first. The ending is slightly ambiguous as we are given a version of events that most likely happen but no one is sure. I choose to believe in a happier ending for the couple and in a way it's fine they left it so open for interpretation. Good kissing scenes and intimate moments, good acting, chemistry, costumes, pretty actresses and actors. I definitely recommend this drama. Oh bonus, no rape but there are attempted rapes, come on Thailand quit this shit it's tired and nobody gets adequately punished.

It was alright

No major spoilers included. I just always mark spoilers included cause I hate when shows are ruined for me.

So, I watched this show a while ago but after watching a clip on YouTube felt like I should add my 2 cents on this site. I thought this show was really good at first. I thought they were a cute couple, it was a little cliche and a bit overacted, mostly on the FL’s part (I normally notice this less if I’m reading subtitles), but it was average run of the mill contract marriage story. From the start though I started to see things I just didn’t understand

The FL’s chosen career- maybe it is just me but is anyone else annoyed by how, seemingly more than not, like 75% of the time FLs in cdramas want to be either a web toon writer/animator or a manga artist. I have a degree in art, I get loving to draw but, and maybe I’m wrong, is every Chinese woman an amazing artist and writer and do they all want to become animators? There’s this show, Feel at Ease mr Ling, Be with You, A love so beautiful, there are more but I’m having trouble thinking of them any time I see this trope I’m like she’s gonna use the ML as inspiration and they’ll fall in love. Wow! What happened to careers like teacher, doctor, grocery store clerk?, curator, mechanic, secretary, maid, lawyer, banker, the list goes on I’m so sick of this trope!

The set up- She doesn’t want to take over her dad’s business ok whatever but it seemed like part of the reason was she was ashamed he got rich from making lingerie and was made fun of for it. Do you know how popular I would’ve been had I had a rich parent who made clothes, so many people would want to be my friend just in case they could get a discount or free stuff,

The FL is awkward and selfish- she expects that everyone will cater to her will and change for her but does none of that herself. Like I can get that she is inexperienced in love and she’s using the ML as inspiration for her story but omg the scenarios and things she does are so cringe although he seems to like some of it. That whole set up makes me feel like she is using him. She also never takes other people’s feelings into consideration and keeps doing what is best for her despite the cost and with very little consequences. Also the 2nd ML I would’ve liked a scene where she straight up told him no and to stop pursuing her because he was clearly interested and messing up her relationship. Even when the ML asked her not to hang out with him she still continued. I’d understand her not listening if he was at all domineering and jealous but he wasn’t, she had other male friends and the ML didn’t care. Even if she had no feelings towards the 2nd ML he clearly needed to be told and if he didn’t respect her feelings she should’ve stayed away. They try to make her look really nice but she has really selfish tendencies,
And nobody ever tells her she needs to check her privilege.

It’s a sort of cliche and easy drama. The FL is irritating, selfish, and immature and the ML I found, looks wise cute at first but on further inspection a little creepy, idk why and yeah it’s a little shallow. Lacks depth, creativity, and I’ll probably never rewatch more than the occasional YouTube clip. I’d go elsewhere if looking for a good drama to watch.

I was unprepared

I had been thinking about watching this movie for a while before I finally got around to it. I read multiple plot synopsis's on different websites to decide but 1 day I was looking for something to watch and up popped this movie in my mind. Now, after reading about it you'd think someone would mention that it's a freaking musical but nowhere in the cliffnotes did anyone deign to mention to me that yeah, they randomly break out into song about whatever really, or maybe I missed it, I tend to skim things because ADHD is really something. I mean they weren't bad songs but I believe my face was something to the effect of Shrek and Donkey's faces while watching that Welcome to Duloc song while I was watching the first song play out in front of my eyes. Why did no one tell me? I was completely blindsided! It was a cute movie in the end but you should warn a girl first. I am warning you now, turn away if you're not in the mood for a musical. The acting and singing were good, I wish she was a bit more open to him overall. Also, there was a tap dancing number with the actor Takumi Saitoh, who I call "The Professor" for reasons and I don't think I'll ever look at him the same after. I thought we had a good thing going professor, I found you extremely attractive in Hirugao and you do this to me. I have collected all the things you've left at my house and put them in a box, call me when you want to pick them up. I shouldn't be writing reviews on no sleep but here we are. Oh, the movie I'd say it's worth a watch though.

Just finished

I just finished watching this and it was good. I don't know, I expected more romance from it after reading the plot synopsis. Where was the romance folks? Besides a kiss on the fore head there was nothing. It's really tragic at the end honestly but it's not so sad that I can't go about my day like Moon Lovers or something (Who hurt that script writer?). It was overall good. I wish they had a happy ending though. I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I don't know how they would've done it, like maybe he got off the bus right before it crashed or something and surprised her when she saw the cherry blossoms at the end. Let them be happy even though she was 18 and he'd be 56 at that point, just to know he's alive is enough. Although if he was gonna die anyway why can't he just be transported back to the future with her? Wouldn't that be cool. Japanese movies are always so sad man.

Watch the Japanese Version

I will preface my review with, I'm not an EXO-L so I feel like I have some objectivity about the male lead. Okay, so ugh, he was such a jerk in this! Alot of male leads have face blindness, you'd think it was more common than it actually is. IDK who told the writers that we'd want to see the male lead treat the female lead like absolute garbage until the very end but they were misguided. Who told them we wanted him to be in a relationship and even kiss the second female lead like 100 times before he kissed the female lead, which was once and at the very end, WTF? Also the way he would brag about it to the female lead. like dude WTF? He knew she liked him too which made it worse. He was just mean! The second male lead was annoying too. Why would he blow up an entire corporation for a girl who was interested in someone else. It became cartoonish at the end. The second female lead had some misplaced confidence too, she was alright looking but she acted like she was god's gift. I did like the female lead though, she did let people mistreat her quite a bit but still she was an overall good person who followed her heart and did what she felt was right. I did like the side story of her friend and that programmer too. Anyway, that all being said, the Japanese version was overall better, acting, storyline, everything. I normally prefer the Korean version but this was the exception. I really didn't like the male lead. What was his problem?

I dropped this show before the end. Too many cdrama tropes and, by the time I dropped it, I was like everything has happened to this woman, even multiple times, besides being kidnapped but seeing as there were like 9 episodes left there is still time. It started off really strong and, having an art degree aka being a certified art nerd myself, I thought maybe I’d like it but you know how some dramas face that mid drama slump and manage to crawl out of it? It might’ve gotten slow in the middle to stretch out the run time but in the end when it’s over you’re like yeah, ok, that was a good drama! To try and avoid that, this drama tried to pull every trick in the book. But you could really just see it as a cheap way to draw the number of episodes out. If you don’t have enough material for 39 episodes make it 20 or 30, tell a good story, we don’t need all the tropes, every trope like cheating, shootings, assassination attempts, injuries, Hospital stays, random surprise pregnancies, fake pregnancies, crazy exes, kidnappings, etc (Some of those things are in this drama)! While dramas aren’t supposed to be based 100% on real life because, life is non linear and doesn’t make narrative sense, dramas are supposed to mirror aspects of real life and be set basically in reality, unless it’s a fantasy drama but still the characters interactions, motives, and actions are still based firmly in reality even if they can fly. These people are some of the most unfortunate people ever or it’s unrealistic to the point that it breaks the immersive experience it is supposed to be. Btw, most of the misunderstandings could’ve been solved after a few episodes had the main guy just not been a jerk and been honest with his feelings/ kept in contact with main girl over the years and woo hoo a 10 episode or so drama. If they wanted to draw it out to like 20 he could be trying to woo her in the next episodes. In my opinion it’s not worth the watch but folks, if you have the time and like all of those drama tropes/annoying and mostly unnecessary plot building devices have at her. I’m just warning you in advance if you’d like to watch something else. After watching the 1st 30 episodes, maybe more I'm not sure, I was like meh, I wish I just watched Her Private Life again, both the girls are museum curators but HPL is a much better story overall.
