awesome!

this Drama is funny, romantic, dramatic and full of Surprises. you'll never get bored. the plot Is interesting and even thou the trope "enemies to lovers" has been explored many times, this drama does a good job at not falling into kitsch cliches. the acting is really good and by the end of it you'll even start thinking "what..another plot twist?". the romance is on point and the actors make a good job. highly rewatchable. there is something for everyone to enjoy. the only point I was kind of disappointed is that there is not really a "hot" scene between the main leads, but that's nothing new in the k dramas.
lots of real kisses thou. (not the usual still and stiff kisses you get in many dramas).

mmmm... not exciting.

from watching the first episodes I was anticipating something really spicy, scandalous. rich people with nothing to lose and lot of power to create scandals but I was quickly disappointed.
the drama really kicks in 3 episodes from the very end.
I ended up skipping a lot of scenes and flashbacks.
we all know the plot. bad guy tries to seduce an innocent girl because of a bet he made with his childhood friends but ends up falling in love with the girl.
nothing new but also nothing wrong with it. the fact is that I was expecting more depravity from these "tormented" characters but the story feels really teenager level of drama.
I wouldn't recommend it but I don't to bash it either.

slow start... but it gets better

this drama started off really.... boring!
I must admit that I was almost going to ditch it. the first 5,6 episode are sooooo boring but it gets better after.
the middle part was the most interesting. we get some adrenaline thanks to the whole kidnapping drama and we are able to follow the splitted life of Robin and go seo Jin.
I don't know how accurate the drama portraits the did sindrome but "drama wise" it was compelling and captivating. the main actor did a decent job at keeping the two characters separated from one another.

towards the end it gets pretty emotional. I cried during the last 2 episodes.
this drama is not extraordinary but if you don't have anything on your watch list, it is worth a watch.

downside: I didn't particularly like the main female protagonist. the actress was fine but nothing exceptional and the character didn't really have that much depth to it.
the main theme songs are pretty redundant.

if you like funny comedies that's definitely not one of them.

I don't get the high rating.

I was really excited to watch this drama. I heard many good things about it and the rating was super, but I was quickly disappointed.
this drama is really boring! I skipped so many scenes I was almost tempted to leave the drama halfway into it.

we follow the main leader which is born super strong due to a curse. she tried all her life to help people without letting the world know about her powers.

it could be a good premise but the curse is almost never addressed, only briefly, there is no depth to it.

in the first episodes we get introduced to whom will be the main leader's romantic interest. at first the series tries to imply a "love triangle", but this plot line is abandoned shortly after. the "friend" never gets a real chance even though boon su has been "madly" In love with him for years. no trace of doubts, not for a second.

the president of the ainsoft is kind of a "quirky" character which sometimes Is endearing but many times appears as caricature. he is so over the top. I skipped so many scenes where he basically talks to himself about how sweet his girl is, how cute she acts, even though boon su does literally nothing.

the secondary characters lack in personalities. her best friend, which we know nothing about except that she's from Busan; her brother , which has no depth and a "out of the blue" relationship with another forgettable character.

the whole gangster plot lines was totally unnecessary and frankly boring.

the jokes were corny as hell.
the Indian monk.... I don't even know what to say about that...

the main point of the drama should be the kidnapping case... but that also falls flat. we never get a real motive. the culprit liked a play...and that's it? no backstory, no motives..

let's not forget the "video game" stuff. maybe once in the drama boon su plays a video game, but we are supposed to know that she LOVES games and has always dreamed of creating one...

I don't know why so many people liked it.

the actors are good but the story just isn't there.

lovely drama!!

the gumiho trop is nothing new but this love story was really sweet, well portrait and funny.

the main male lead is gumiho who has reached his 999th years of age. he has left just a year to become a human or he'd disappear from the earth.

the male female lead is a young history Student who accidentally bumps into our gumiho and shallows the gumiho marble, which he needs to gain energy.

they both agree to live together in order to take the marble out of her body and save her from death.

this forced living situation leads to a romantic relationship.

that's the basic premise of the story, but the real force of this drama is in the chemistry between the actors. the drama is full of sweet moment that really warm the heart. despite the "age gap" they are able to adjust to one another and grow together.

they are both likable in different ways. the gumiho may seem cold hearted but is really affectionate in his own way. he is charming and naive and the same time. the main female character is strong, unapologetic and isn't afraid to be her true self.

the side characters are nice and not shallow as they usually are. especially the other couple of this drama give us funny and sweet moments.

overall this is a story about overcoming struggles and give all our selves for the one we love.

the drama is full of romantic but also funny moments.
highly recommended

Boring

That's my first time ditching a drama 2 episodes from the very end.
The plot revolves around two childhood friends that reconnect in their adulthood.
The female lead is ashamed of how she became and when the male lead tries to meet her after years she asks a friend of hers to meet him instead lying about her true identity.
Our protagonist "undercover" starts working at the childhood friend office and tries to hide her true identity.
The "fake girl ends up catching feeling for the guy she is misleading and that creates some misunderstandings.
That's pretty much it.
Nothing new or innovative.
I don't get why Koreans are so obsessed by their childhood first love of when they were teenagers.
The main lead is an asshole towards our protagonist but she is madly in love with him. He ignores her colleague that loves her and is a much better fit for her.
He is the only highlight of the show.
The side stories are frankly boring.
Nothing particularly intriguing or romantic about this drama.

good start ..boring end

I saw many positive reviews so I decided to give it a chance.

the start was really good, nothing innovative, but a good story line.

the main female lead works as a secretary for the main male lead. she realises her whole life is committed to her work with little time left for her personal life.
when she communicates her will to leave the company the main lead slowly realises he cannot live without his precious secretary.

it could have been a good starting point, but forward in the story, it's clear that he was already in love with her from the very beginning. he hired her specifically because of their shared past. so, the whole "I don't know why I don't want to let her go" from the very first episodes doesn't make any sense.

the plot thickens when we discover that the protagonists were both held captive as kids by the same woman and developed an "obsession" for lack of better words, about finding the other kid that shared a traumatic experience with them.

after the first half of the series which includes the "kidnapped" plotline, the drama becomes really boring. nothing of substance really happens and the protagonists only talk about how much they love each other. the " slow motion falling into his arms scenes" are unnecessary copious.

the only good thing about this drama is that if you are a fan of the main actor, you won't be disappointed. he s undressed in many scenes, acts cute, talks how a "perfect romantic boyfriend " should talk.

if you are looking for a "cheesy drama" with lot of kisses this drama will do .

overall all is not "bad" but it drags out for too long.

I finished "crazy love" before this and It was much more fun and entertaining.

don't Miss IT... but don't overestimate IT.

short summary:
three friends run a guest house that is not really successful. one day they discover an "abandoned" baby in one of the rooms and decide to wait for the parents to show up before calling the police. when the mom does show up they find out that this girls has basically nowhere to go therefore they hire her as a "maid" and start living all together with some other friends.

i Saw Many excelent reviews about this Drama and was really exicted about it. don't get me wrong, I'm not disappointed but this is not the perfect drama that people want you to believe.
it is indeed funny, the gags are copious and cute but some episode were really hard to get through.
the sketches were highly predictable, not very ingenious and I've found myself skipping many scenes. overall it is a really good drama with good actors and and a cozy atmosphere.
the main issue lies in the main couple. their love story was really boring, not developed at all and the character of Yoon ah was frankly sooooo boring.
we never get to know why she left the baby in this guest house specifically.
the real star of the show is the character of Joon ki. he's the highlight of the whole series. his character is so funny and his scenes are unforgettable like the "gwenchana" scene with Rebecca the car.
if you are looking for a good laugh, cute moments, good chemistry between actors look no further.
I can't wait to start season 2

it has everything!!!

this drama is just so good. it is funny, entertaining, has sad parts, some tense moments, fight scene, cooking.. basically everything you could ask for.
the entire cast is just so good and you'll inevitably root for them.
a quick synopsis:
the chef of the Korean president conducts a very alpha male life. he's good-looking, talented, women love him. one day at work he falls victim of a collegue's trap and ends up chased by the police. while running away he falls into a pool and due to a time slip he ends up in the joseon era in the body of the queen!!!
he is shocked at first and tries to go back to his life but when he realizes that he cannot go back as soon as he wants and that his mind and the "real" queen emotions and memories are mingling he decides to live at the palace trying to survive th scheming and plotting of the real court.

really recommend this drama. the main actress is just so good.

absolutely LOVELY!!!

this drama has everything: friendship, romance, coming of age, struggle, heart breaking story and comedic moments.
the characters are all endearing in their way . they struggle but are able to overcome their hardships in the end.
this drama depicts people's dream in a very realistic way, not presented through pink lenses.
the main male character had to sacrifice his entire future because of his family circumstances but is able to get some "revenge" at the end.
the female leader has her struggles as well when it comes to fulfilling one's dream of success.
she is the very protagonist when it come to perform "aegyou". I discovered that these scenes are very popular among drama lovers and rightfully so.
the other couple shows us a relatable picture of what having a long term story can mean and the misunderstanding that sometimes happen between people who love each other.
the theme song "fight my way" is a banger I cannot stop singing it.

I laughed, I cried, basically I couldn't ask for more.
I really recommend it.

a waist of time

the drama starts with a good premise.
the two main leads meet because of unfortunate circumstances and they agree to share a house and get married and make the best out 9f the situation.

the drama starts pretty well. the first episodes are engaging and we follow the leads around in their messy living situation.
it becomes pretty clear that they like each others but due to lingering feelings towards other people don't get a chance to live happily.

after 7 episodes the drama gets frankly really boring. nothing of substance ever happens. we basically watch them bickering over dumm stuff and cleaning the house for hours.
the characters are childish and frustrating. they constantly yell at other and say dumm stuff because o their own ego.

at a certain point they decide to break up the marriage and part ways but I still don't know why exactly.
the drama drags out for another 9 episode where basically the same old dynamics take place. they fight, they yell, they hold grudge, they clean the house and so on so forth.

I kept watching just to see how the writers will wrap things up... let me tell you, you LL have to wait until the second part of the last episode to see them getting together.

tis should be light ROM com, but the ROM part is nowhere to found. in 15episodes we don't see a kiss not even a hug between any of the characters , not even the side ones.
you'll get to see a kiss an the last episode and that's it.

I am kin of disappointed because I heard good thing about it.

the actors aregoo thou and the music is fine, just. but repetitive.

a different slow paced drama

I was really curious about this drama because I didn't watch many others mixed up with animation characters and from that point of view I wasn't disappointed.

Yumi's cells is a drama centered around the protagonist' love Life. we follow her around and see what happens inside of her during all the important or emotional relevant experience throughout life.

the little cells that control Yumi are really well characterized. they have a peculiar personality and style and are by far my favourite part of this drama.
I sometimes loved the animated part more over the "real life" ones.

to be honest, the main protagonist is kinda bland. she's not that interesting and does not have any peculiarity. her interaction with other characters are full of meaningless things, she's the quiet one and doesn't say anything of substance, but miraculously her friends all adore her.

the male leader was slightly better. he had a better defined personality and traits. but he was also annoying at times.

what I didn't like about this drama is that even though the portrait of a love relationship was pretty realistic, many of the conflicts between the protagonists were easily solvable. It was a frustrating experience watching them struggle through easy and light issues.

the drama is slow paced and lacks a strong " plot line". it a nice tell of a love story filled with reality.

overall I liked. the ending was fine and realistic.
if you like plot twist and tension that's not he drama for you, but if you enjoy sweet moments, more realistic portraits of life, Yumi's cell is definitely your cup of tea.

the cell animation is hilarious.
