Little heartwarming stories that will make you hungry

This drama was really a great fun activity when I wanted to rest after hard work.
Every episode consists of a different story, paired with the main character's favorite food. After a few episodes you will feel like a regular visitor of Shinya Shokudou and Master will make you hungry with display of his delicious food.
The stories themselves are heartwarming, sometimes surprising, sometimes showing how our lives can be cruel and nice at the same time.
Oh, how I wish I could visit this diner too!

Strong but sad story

Firstly I have to say I didn't know this movie is the last in the series, so I watched it as a first one, but I think it maybe doesn't matter, because it shows the story from the very beginning.
The story is quite straightforward I would say, but what makes it very good are all the little nuances, talking about ethics, thinking about different topics like if it's right to kill people for greater good etc. Then a little plot twist near the end and the ending itself makes the movie a tragedy which will move your heart with emotions.
I also liked the flow of the movie, which (even though there are lot of brutal scenes) felt very calm, combining it with the very fitting soundtrack.
The fight scenes were also very well done and quite naturalistic.
I can recommend this for anyone who likes "samurai movies" and to anyone who likes to be moved by emotions, even though they can be sad.

Original topic and story which warms your heart

Firstly I have to write I didn't read the manga.
When I first saw the title and description of this drama I just though this would be probably some stupid show with really strange plot and cringy acting.
I was totally wrong! The topic of keeping a human pet is really interesting one and it serves as a cause of several really funny situations - I laughed a lot watching this drama which doesn't happen very often. Also there were some situations where I felt bad, sad or angry and I love when some show makes me feel all these emotions. And I have to say until last 2 episodes I really couldn't imagine how this could end for everyone involved and I was surprised how all the personal stories were finished and in the end it gave me the best ending I could wish for.
The cast is very well chosen and I love acting of all the main cast, I really felt for the characters like they were my own friends and in the end I have to admit I cried a lot.
I don't see any negatives on this show, just go and give it a try, you won't regret! Especially if you like some cuddling moments and feelings of unconditional love.

Very interesting story that will make you cry

I came upon this quite randomly and while seeing the main topic of this movie I decided to watch.
The main plot is about a young kid who is both blind and deaf and an adult agent who takes care of her after her mother's death.
The first thing which I was interested in was how blind and deaf people even live? How they communicate? How they perceive the world around them? And it was really interesting to see lot of my questions being answered.
The kid actor Jung Seo Yeon playing the small Eun Hye was so good. Her performance was really top. You could easily believe she is blind and deaf. Also the main male character was played very well by Jin Goo. Their chemistry was something extra, almost like they were father and daughter.
I think the movie is really heartwarming and it will surely make you cry and sometimes it's just too cute, especially when Eun Hye is smiling. The only negative thing I can see is that the story was quite quick and it didn't tell us how some things continued or were solved in the end.
Watch if you are interested in how blind and deaf people can live their daily lives and if you want something to warm your heart to the core.

Very cute and funny drama

The main story is about a high schooler who suddenly turns into a tiny human and needs to overcome all struggles along the way. The theme is quite original, so ti immediately caught my attention.
Overally said I liked this drama quite a lot. The main characters are well portrayed and soon you will be cheering for them. Some situations are very funny and there are also some moments of tension.
Although I think I knew already from the first episode how the story will end, the ending was very satisfying for me and I was happy that it wasn't only one scene but it gave us a nice view of the characeters' future.
I don't see any big negatives about this, maybe sometimes the story is a bit silly and some side characters maybe unnecessarily weird, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the show.
I think this drama is not something extra special, but it will still have a warm place in my heart. I can recommend watching if you want a bit of cuteness and sweetness in your life or if you just want to relax watching something nice.

Very sad but beautiful story

This movie was a really nice watch for me. Although I cannot say it was something extra special, it was done nicely and with strong impact on your emotions.
The story begins with quite a bit of hapiness but tears your heart apart in the end, so be ready to have a lot of tissues ready.
The main characters are great, I really like their relationship, although some scenes could be done better and we could have a little bit more insight into their dating.
I didn't like the biggest decision of Misaki and I think it would be probably more interesting if she decided otherwise, but on the other hand I get it was necessary. But the scene with the cap - why? This was really heatbreaking and too cruel. The ending was as expected but at the same time I was not ready for it. I was just sitting, tears flowing down my face.
Overally the story is well written but with some bits I didn't like so that's why my rating is at 7,5, but you should definitely watch this if you'd like a bit of bittersweet romance and if you are ready to cry a lot.

Wholesome story which I fell in love with

There is only a few dramas which I will always love and remember forever. And I knew this is one of them already while watching the second episode of this show. If I should describe a perfect drama for my taste, it's definitely "In Time With You/I Don't love you yet". As I just wrote, it caught me already at the beginning and didn't let me go until the very end.
Overally I think the story is nothing extra special, no totally original ideas or something and I was almost 100% sure from the beginning how the end will look like. BUT! The acting, setting of the story, all the little moments and mainly the overall WHOLESOMENESS was something I was really longing for. The show will warm your heart in so many moments that it's totally amazing.
The main duo of Mitarai Yo and Ishida Ren has the best chemistry I have ever seen in a TV series and I would believe they are best friends also in real life. And I have to mention that I enjoyed especially Ren, not mentioning he's really, really handsome, but the actor was able to express all his emotions in a great way! But I have to also mention that I enjoyed ALL the side characters, which is usually very rare in this kind of shows. Yo's and Ren's families, Mizusawa Ryusei, all the people from their workplace or school, they all were really well acted and added a lot to the story. There were also some philosophical moments which made me think about life values, love, friendship and so on.
I also appreciated that the ending wasn't rushed or cut off and we could enjoy some nice additional scenes after the peak of the story.
Now when I finished watching "In Time With You" I feel like I will miss it a lot and I am sure I will rewatch in the future.
Don't hesitate to watch, you won't be disappointed, especially if you like lot of love, wholesome moments and oh... nice shoes. :)

Interesting idea, but I don't like the characters

This is a kind of drama with quite more adult topics and talking a lot openly about sex, although not in any offensive way, just in a way I am not used to in other Japanese dramas, so I kind of liked the more realistic side of this.
The main story is a little bit strange if you think about it - what kind of girl would do such things with her roommate like Terada did? But still it works somehow and it caught my attention, so I kind of enjoyed watching the whole series.
I have to say I like the character of Terada, she's kind of genuine girl and we can see all her emotions very clearly, so I think this was a very good acting. But other characters are just trash I think. Hongyo is cold, abusive and so strange that it seems like he has a kind of psychotic disorder and to me he looked scary all the time, so I don't understand Terada's behavior towards him. Hase is the opposite, too flegmatic, always smiling, even though it seems like a strange kind of mask and acting his feelings all the time, his behavior was also abusive and egoistic and I didn't like him. Another crazy character is Akari. If I lived with her she would scare me all the time. Like all in all, I would leave this sharehouse immediately, as it seemed like a house of horror to me.
The plus for me were some steamy scenes and how I already said, good psychology in case of Terada.
It probably won't be my favorite jdrama but it's definitely worth watching (not again though). But be prepared to think how strange this is.

Sweet and bitter, exactly as its name

This one won't be one of my favorite Japanese dramas, but still I think it deserves watching.
I think the acting is overally good, but what is the bitter part here is the story.
I know that in 10 episodes of around 24 minutes you can't portrait much but still it mostly failed for me.
The overall idea is the biggest cliché you could imagine - handsome, rich and confident man falling in love with poor, naive girl who thinks she's good for nothing. But I think even from this setting they could make more of a story. I think the biggest problems I had was that usually there was something hinted and I was looking forward to further explore the (usually dark) topic, but it was skipped and we did not know anything about it further. Also the complications that started at the beginning of the episode were usually solved right in the end of the episode and in the simplest (and usually very cringy) way possible. I can see almost no character development throughout the show. And what I really didn't like was the ML's often really too violent behaviour and FL's constant embarrasment about everything.
Despite of what I just wrote the drama still has some really good and sweet moments and I appreciate some of the "steamy" scenes out there which I haven't seen in any other j-drama yet.
If you don't want to watch anything complicated (because the story is quite straightforward), you should give this a chance, but prepare for some bitter taste to the overall sweetness of this drama.

Short and sweet romance, but little bit annoying FL

Personally this kind of drama has just hit the right tone for me, as I was in the best mood to watch this kind of show. It is not very fast paced, full of sweetness, the music adds to the mood as well.
I think that what (or who) I liked the most about this show was definitely Riichi. Omg, so sweet, romantic guy, full of unconditional love, always waiting for Hanai no matter what. I think Eiji Akaso is really handsome, I should watch more dramas with him and I really felt in love with his adorable voice.
But the main character of Hanai Ao was sometimes so annoying! Girl, you should be happy with a boyfriend like that, caressing him, cherishing him, doing whatever he wants. But no! She irritated me so much when he was so sweet to her and she was constantly stopping him, falling asleep, asking him to leave or completely forgetting about his existence. But the thing is they understand each other, so I suppose they are ok with it.
I really liked the thing that they were showing the same scenes from the point of view of both main characters. This is something I am missing in some dramas very much!
If you want to see some heartwarming love story, especially with a sweet romantic guy, you should definitely watch it, but I hope you won't be annoyed with th FL.

Little light drama full of sweet moments

Love Is Phantom is not the best drama out there, but it's definitely worth watching, especially when you just want to relax, not thinking about complicated stories and just enjoying a little bit of sweetness.
The episodes are a little bit shorter, around 24 minutes, so 10 episodes feels like very short time to tell a complicated story, which is true. The plot is quite straightforward but full of kissing and warm love moments that will make your heart flutter.
The main cast is chosen really well, I like both characters, the manly and sweet side of Hase-san, and nice and cute Momoko. Their chemistry just works especially well.
The thing I regret is that I thought some of the side characters will play a bigger role in the plot, but these were just merely short episodes when they interacted with the duo and nothing much happened, but sure, the time was very short for it.
I really liked it and can recommend watching it to everyone who just wants to sit and relax with coffee (most of the scenes are taking place in a café so I always wanted to drink coffee during watching), likes heartwarming moments and lot of kissing scenes.

Amazing visuals with gradually raising quality

I have to admit that for a first few episodes I was not very enjoying the story. It was just plain for me and I just enjoyed the spectacular visuals - the work with colors in this drama should really get some award! Really great...
In the middle of the series I noticed I am starting to enjoy all the characters and their stories and at the end... Especially with the final speech... I was just amazed and couldn't stop my tears... It was fantastic...
So if you are bored at the beginning, don't stop watching this series, because you will be rewarded later.
I suggest to watch this if you like great visuals and stories about strong women in this mad world dominated by social media.

Funny love story with really great cast

I really enjoyed watching this drama! Especially I really love the main chracter of Sakura, sometimes I see myself in her, haha. And the chemistry she has with her friends and Tachibana is just awesome! And I should also mention Miura Haruma's (Hiroto) acting, which is also great, I will really miss his acting skills. :( Generally the cast was the most awesome thing on this drama!
The story is well written too and I like that almost no topic is taboo in this show.
I laughed a lot and until the end I was thinking I won't have the ending I wished for, but in the end it fulfilled all my wishes and I was really satisfied with the ending!
Don't hesitate to watch if you want more "adult" love story with lot of fun.

Unexpected emotional story

I didn't have high expectations of this show but I was proved wrong.
I was just expecting some comedy, especially after watching the first episode, and nothing more. But little did I know back then. Yes, I have to say this drama made me laugh so many times like almost no other ever.
But the main thing was that it played with my emotions like on a rollercoaster and I must admit that I cried during the whole last episode, so if you wanna watch, prepare some tissues in advance, I guarantee you will cry too.
The story was really nice, in general researching question of what is love and who is capable of it, how can love have many forms and who is able to feel it. I also really did not expect the ending, so I was really surprised by the story.

Average movie with some plot holes

I watched this movie mainly because of Kento Yamazaki and I have to say this wasn't his strongest role.
The movie in general has really nice costumes, locations and scenes, but the overall story is a little bit strange (at least).
There were too many scenes that were lacking some logic for me (almost all of them at the end, in the palace) which killed my high expectations. Some characters were also really strange and I didn't understand their purpose (for example the character of General Ouki).
This is not a trash, no, it's a nice movie when you just want to relax, but don't expect anything special or you will be dissapointed.
