Both shows have the same beautiful cinematography and relaxed, meditative pacing and calming vibe. Both have excellent acting from the leads and beautiful OSTs. Both are perfect for cuddling up in winter with a warm blanket and watching with a cup of coffee.

A story about forgiveness, healing, and love taking place around a small bookstore in the countryside. Hae Won is an ordinary woman with good character. She has played the cello since she was a child. Hae Won began her social life with her ability to play the cello, but during that time, she was hurt emotionally by others. Due to that, Hae Won does not trust people, and she has closed her heart to others. Hae Won becomes sick and tired of her life in Seoul and decides to move back to her hometown Bookhyun Village. There, Hae Won meets Eun Seob, who runs a bookshop named "Goodnight Bookstore." Eun Seob's daily life is simple; wake up, drink coffee, read a book, and write on his blog. However, Eun Seob's daily life begins to change after he meets Hae Won.

Ikeda Yoshimi, a 28-year-old editor of a literary magazine who loves otome games and loves good-looking guys, will be in charge of a gourmet magazine even though she is not good at eating with ultra-small meals. However, she notices that when she eats with good-looking men, her appetite increases, and she pursues "good-looking rice" to improve her small meals.

A very young He Lan Dou is playing a stellar role; someone to look out for! She was not even 20 yrs old at the time.

Both are high quality dramas with a decent mix between seriousness and comedy. Joy of life, i would say has better plot and is focused more on strategy / mind games whilst Journey to love has a better "slow" yet charming romance. Romance in Joy of life barely exist. Still both shows have the capacity to keep you hooked from start to end. The most important, both shows develop characters really well ( the ML and FL develpment in Journey to Love is very well done, even the " princess' " shows growth). What i like the most is that the "typical" annoying character you see in every historical show (typically a princess or some stupid MC) arent present in these shows. Both leads in journey to love are smart, and Fan Xian in JOL is charming indeed. Try one, if you saw the other :)

Both portray a submissive-dominant, master/servant relationship. The leads from both shows are flawed individuals who are not great at communicating their feelings to each other.

A drama that tells the story of a lighthearted friendship. I think these two dramas have the same plot, it's just that the setting is different.

Another school drama which focuses on life of students. Their exam pressure. Their growing stage.
Love the fact how each student has struggles, and everyone is trying to overcome it to certain extent.
The teachers have great work together. Maybe these teachers do not have a very significant role in dealing with students personal problem, but the students are very supportive of each other.
They, as classmates and friends are helping each other. The parents seem to be playing a good role too in dealing with their problems.
Overcoming their onset boundaries and striving for a practically better future with dreams, motivations, and happiness of being high school students!

At an empty house in a quiet residential area, 5 people gather outside to break into the home. The five people are Tanaka (Oji Suzuka), Misaki Kubo (Maika Yamamoto), Kenzo Ogawa (Ken Mitsuishi), Kanae Hara (Yumi Asou) and Toru Kuribayashi (Toshiki Ayata) and they each applied for the same illegal part-time job. As they move about in confusion to get inside, they seem like amateur burglars. Their goal is to open a safe in the house, but it isn't for them. As they get close to opening the safe, they then encounter a crisis. They all get into the van to flee from the area, but they hit a person. The group continue to leave the area after they hit the person. but a mysterious man witnesses these 5 people's escape. The 5 people are then blackmailed to act like a family to commit more crimes.
