A medical scam

Reminds me of some cheap isekai anime. Executed as a one and equally as garbage. Terrible writing from the get go. Poor storytelling and structure. Painfully underutilizing the generous long runtime. Filled with irrelevant nonsense that doesn't contribute to anything, not even for a side gag or filler. While the cast may not have been terrible, but they were definitely careless and under-performing. It's not like they had much to work with in the first place. The director doesn't seem to be helping in that regard either. I don't think this drama would have worked even if it was just a 2-hours movie.

Bummer at the end

I have watched many international dating shows and it was my first time watching a Korean dating show . The international dating shows are all about the physical attraction and lust. So what I liked most about the show was how they focused on getting to know each other slowly rather than jumping on each other right away.?
I liked how it started with expressing the first impression of the person and then matching for dates later. And cooking with each other was the best part as it gives a lot of time to interact with each other in a natural setting rather than going on fancy dates right away.

But what I didn’t liked was that how the new members joined soo late and they didn’t got the chance to built anything with anyone. And the worst part is tht all the couples who left together at the end are not together. Yes, not a single one of them are together. It all starts to look fake like how they shared beautiful moments and never dated in real is just soo weird to me.
Like what’s the purpose of these reality dating shows if no one sticks together or even tries to date after leaving the show. Makes it all pointless. I was hoping better from a Korean dating show.

wasted potential

what a shame this had so much potential to be amazing, the actors seemed to have great chemistry together it’s a shame they were stuck with such a terrible script. originally I thought the plot was good but they ruined it by adding unnecessary issues.

Anyway I enjoyed Lee Min Ki’s performance it’s was refreshing to see him play a character who’s playful and cute, I’ve only ever seen him play stern, emotionless characters before this. As for Nana she was amazing as ever, she’s the reason I watched this in the first place, ever since I watched her in “into the ring” I fell in awe for her. Since then it’s been my mission to support and watch all her movies/shows.

ok but not the best version of the show

I have watched the different version of this show and while this version is ok, it's far from being the best one. I liked that they brought some twists to the version of other countries. I liked that they removed the illness of the main character and removed the part of going in the wrong room (doesn't really work anymore) but they also turned Dylan in a forceful creep, killing the show for me. him trying to get Elaine to break up with xinyi was done in a bully's way. And the actor that plays Dylan is not great. I would also add that Elaine's transformation was weaker than in the other version of the show.

good, but one dumb thing.…

first of all i’d like to say that it was pretty good entertaining and a bit addictive, but there was SEVERAL dumb things that happened in this reality TV show. first why is sihun always going back to jia? like i think it was pretty abvious who she wanted to be with since day one because she wanted to pick only one man…HER PUPPY so why is he still trying…second, why did the 2 girls and 1 boy come SO EXTREMELY LATE?!?! they can’t get to know each other at that rate like you can’t call it a love show where they are getting to know each other?!? that’s absolute bullsh*t. THIRD. WHY ARENT YALL REALISING 2 EPISODES A DAY??? it’s so much better and it’s just killing time so much faster if you did! like i won’t watch one episode then the next day i’ll watch another then NEXT WEEK i’ll repeat? FOURTH and LAST. if season 3 isn’t better than this i’m leaving the WORST review ??‍♀️

Wholesome

Cherry Magic: 30 Years Of Virginity can Make You A Wizard is one of the most beautiful and wholesome series I've ever seen. Every single character was wonderful and unique in their own way. Green flags everywhere. Its one of those series that don't need sex scenes or kissing, the chemistry was enough. Also I love the workplace setting.

since the review needs to be 500 characters long I will just finish by mentioning the Thai adaptation because I have no idea what else to say. There's not enough words to compliment or show my love and appreciation for this series.

My understanding that there will be a Thai adaptation which will drop this Saturday (9.12
23) and I just know Newwie will bring so much Justice to Adachi and I just know Sing, Jan, Tay and the rest will bring so much Justice.

O primeiro BL que assisti

Tharntype foi o primeiro BL que assisti (isso lá em 2020, no seu auge). Eu reassiti recentemente e percebi muitas coisas que me incomodaram nessa segunda ou terceira vez. A cena do que o Tharn fez com o Type BÊBADO no primeiro episódio me chateou bastante, e a demora na evolução do pensamento do Type me dava nos nervos, além do fato de todas as coisas ruins que o Lhong fez e não recebeu nenhuma punição legal pelos seus atos. Sei que ele perdeu a amizade de Tharn, mas ele é um criminoso, e Tar não fez nada para prendê-lo!

Enfim, de resto, é uma série muito boa, eu me diverti acompanhando o romance do casal se desenvolver e no final os dois ficarem muito bobinhos um pelo outro. Apesar da demora, é bom ver como Type mudou seu pensamento, pois ele é clara representação de muitos homofóbicos por aí, mas até aquele que diz odiar gays, pode mudar completamente o seu pensamento. Tharn é um personagem muito carismático, e a atuação do Mew só potencializou isso. Assim como a atuação do Gulf, que deu muitas camadas interessantes para seu personagem. Amo a comédia presente no enredo, alivia muito o clima de tensão que os episódios carregam. É uma boa comédia romântica com enemies to lovers e muito drama, que perde um pouco a mão na hora de abordar assuntos sensíveis, no mais, é muito boa! Um BL que dá aula no quesito "química" entre o casal. ??

Just an average drama

This drama is just okay, nothing too special. The two main leads give good performances, but the story feels kind of been-there-done-that. It's like they took bits and pieces from other Korean dramas and mashed them together. I mean, we've seen the whole "rich mom adopts an orphan" thing a million times before. And of course, her greedy biological kids only care about her money and pretend to be nice after she dies, but they're just trying to grab everything for themselves.


However, the adopted child, armed with determination and resilience, stands up against their nefarious actions, striving to protect what is rightfully theirs.


The problem is, even though it's only been five episodes, the drama is already getting repetitive. It's like they're just going in circles without adding anything new. The initial excitement has fizzled out, and it feels like a chore to keep watching.

I don't know about you, but I like dramas that bring something fresh to the table. Yeah, the performances are good, but that's not enough to save a drama that's stuck in the same old clichés. They need to take some risks and surprise us with something unexpected.

In short, this drama is just average. The performances are decent, but the story is lacking in originality. It's like a mixtape of overused plots and tropes. Hopefully, things pick up in the upcoming episodes and give us something to really get hooked on.

A DREAM ENDING FOR EVERYONE WHO HAVE ONE SIDED LOVE

I like the most is the story of this drama, it is more of reality, coz you can not always be liked back by the person you like right? As what dramas out there shows to us.
The story is simple and good actually, this drama is easy to love and understand and cute ! I like the character they built here, no confusion, it is what it is, the characters are also established like the progression is goo, Ryuji is such a green flag ! Love the actors, they are like the more you look at them the more they look handsome !
They just got a bit awkward on their kissing scene, but it is okay it is just enough for the story, just enough for everyone, and off course the romance is giving, I fluttered so much here literally gave me a good vibe !

A "Late to the Party" Review

Overall, not bad, lots of clever writing and stuff. But I have a few major gripes!

First of all, WHAT WAS THAT 180° TURN from the set up of Ahn Jae Hong's character as a kind of a hilarious, childish, blowhard to being mature, meek, and softhearted? His character went from fascinating and bold to bland and flavourless basically from episode 2 to episode 3.

I can't call it poorly done—the writing is clever; I enjoyed the meta-narrative of a drama about writing a drama, and the humour that came from that was pretty funny. I guess my main gripe is that, for slice of life, I didn't find the characters believable.

I think this was an intentional creative choice to complement the story-in-a-story? To make them exaggerated caricatures.

For example, the single mom's story made zero sense from the beginning... they didn't show how he wooed her at all, which would have fleshed out how she changed from seeing him as a creepy, annoying stalker to someone who she'd be open to having a baby with.

They couldn't even show him being funny? He was just a caricature of a trash-like man. Like, for a slice of life—show me what she saw, give me a peak at her heart.

It just made it hard to relate to them, for me personally.

Not a badly done show, just not my cup of tea, overall.

I’m not usually a fan of dark and suspenseful dramas. But the cast, acting and cinematography is great. Though the storyline and the way the film is shot is on the dark side, they wittily injected some humour through the characters and music and that balance out the heaviness of the drama for me. I like how many of the support characters back stories are very well developed , it gives the characters a lot more depth and the way it’s filmed and presented make the audience really feel for these characters. Even the “antagonists” the brothers of the ML… the wufeng guides…. you can’t bring yourself to hate them knowing all their back stories. Beautifully written, filmed, casted, acted and presented. The only reason why the rewatch value isn’t higher cos it’s a personal preference to rewatch more lighthearted dramas and a lot of the wow factor for this drama is in its unexpected plot twists. But overall I really like the drama.

A perfect contract marriage drama

Been waiting for this drama for a long time. One for the two main characters YM and XK, two eyes candies, no need to explain more. I thought it going to be a pluffy love story, but the storyline is very intriguing and refreshing! The surprise and fast pace of each case make me anticipate the next episodes. Waiting for the next day is torturing. Love QS strong women character and YH perfect husband chemistry! The only annoying part is the ex’s annoy fiancée that really need a life. Overall it is funny, heart warming and refreshing.

And for those who are complaining about last episode but in my opinion this is the best way for female lead to understand the meaning of marriage .
