This drama was great though if you're a sucker for love interests like I am the ending will will dampen your previous high thoughts.

This drama has plenty of plot twists and it will keep you guessing. The actors performances are great and they are cast really well. I kid you not, every time the scary assassin for one of the shows bad guys was there I about had a heart attack. The guy's evil looking behind those Jonas brother bangs.

I also am now searching for the epic action/a fights going to happen music now. It was catchy.

There is something missing....

I admit that it certainly is well made action-packed thriller drama with romance....buuuut,
Something is missing...I was just wasn't able to go into characters and had sympathy for anyone...Idk what went wrong with me or drama?
It was more of a secret hitman type lead rather than a lead who fights...for me there were less moments of fight...guns and bullets were rarely used...and the fights were just with some local thugs type of people...
Also the ML seemed very confused during the whole time...at one moment he goes on his fetishes to protect everyone around him and when one person become hurt he start to push other people...
I mean, please decide whether you want to protect or not? whether you want to keep in touch or not?
moreover, I really disliked the dressing sense of ML...he was just not clean(no offence).
Even though it had the whole plot, cast, etc....I was just wasn't able to enjoy much....Cause for one, I really dislike the confused leads types...who changes their minds in just 30 minutes...at one moment they act all caring and sweet and then other moment they start acting all the jerk and cold type to push off other lead for the GREATER GOOD.
Also the adopted father was suffering from his own chunnibyo problems with lines like, 'This is our destiny'...bruhhhhh.
His comrade(ML's father) had already told him in his dying moments to take care of both his son and his wife, also he could take revenge on his own then, why the heck did he even involved his son? also he did not took care of ML's mother....hah~
As for other, FL was becoming M, and ML a S, can't they both just talk and tell to be away from each other for the time being?

I never thought that I would enjoy watching action drama before but I really love this drama !

The story is great and I love it when I read the summary. The story about revenge but also contain comedy love stories. Really makes you curious about the next episode and become addicted

The movie is well portrayed by the characters and it is made in a way that seems realistic.

It starts off with some fun action and then makes you think the rest of the drama will be the same, but then it becomes very political. BEWARE.

Ok so...
I finished this drama relatively fast...
Guess why? It captured me since the beginning of it, it was just that good.
The story was really really great, it was the kind of story that was getting better the closer we get to the ending cause a lot of complilations were happening.
The acting was MAGNIFICENT (as expected from Lee Min Ho hyung and Park Min-young noona!)
Not to disregard or say that the supporting characters are bad or anything, but Lee Min Ho never ceases to amaze me with his acting. (SO MUCH EMOTION)
The music was just oustanding, especially the Suddently, Love, Girls Cupid and last but not least, Lonely day, those OSTs are sitting nicely on my phone's music list.
I wont say anything about the rewatch value because i dont quite tend to rewatch dramas i previously finished, except for special occations, when i want to rewatch a great scene or something.
OVERALLY, 10 / 10, I LOVE YOU PARK MIN-YOUNG NOONA!

The drama in which I discovered Lee Min Ho and man do I not regret watching this one bit, in fact I've seen it multiple times now.

The action was phenomenal and LMH played his character with such intensity and heart and PMY was a worthy sidekick to him. I really liked that she was more than capable of handling her own, that she could kick ass with the best of them and that their connection was so genuine.

This had the right blend of romance, action, suspense and drama to keep me hooked all the way through.

The only reason I can't give it 10/10 is the fact that some story lines are not as strong and the romance ends on a rather flat note that I wish a second season could have explored.

Amazing acting
Masterful handling of story
Choreography of fight sequences were sublime
Emotional to the point of sobbing but also funny to the point of sobbing. Emotions will be confused.

Dislikes:
Why is a love song playing as he fights a randomer?
Kim Nana please invest in some more suitable work shoes. Platforms are not criminal chase friendly.

Hey look there is some more product placement for KFC. Pretty sure they all have clogged arteries by now.

This is the second show that i watched with lee min ho as a lead which makes me kind of appreciate him. The first one was the heir and it was a crap.

Anyway, This city hunter show could be done better.. of course i know it was made 5 years ago.. so i understand it.

I really like kim na na, she is such a strong woman, she doesn't get sad and soapy even though she gets that kind of crappy treatment from Yoon Sung.I really really like her, she is one of the best female characters that i have seen in K-drama.

As much as I love Yoon Sung, but towards the middle of the drama, he is just not that cool anymore. He hurts Na Na and he is inconsistent. He seems to want nana but he keeps asking nana to forget him WTF. Sometimes he verbally abuse nana too. At first it was fun since he likes to tease nana, but in the middle of the show, he tried to control nana's feeling and told her what to do and i don't like that. If the writer didn't write yoon sung's character like that, this show is a 9 for me.. I think it's outdated u know to write that kind of man, a man who loves to hurt his woman and never really consider his woman's feeling, i understand he does not want nana to be involved in his situation but i think it shld not been done in that kind of way.

I really hope the writer to make nana as a source of strength for yoon sung and they team up to face their problems... and not wasting time for that unnecessary soapy scenes about the abuse, the changing mind that want and don't want the girlfriend, keep repeating that kind of soapy love drama, talking to forget him blah blah, it was boring at that part and i skip all those boring scenes haha.

The prosecutor is also weird to be everywhere and want to know everything, what??? He is kind of slow too, he is like keep telling everybody about what's in his mind, he is not clever at all, he ruined most of the plans bcoz of his big mouth and he does not seem to appreciate city hunter's work.

Ok, most of the plot is fine, I would give a 9 or 9.5 if those that i mentioned above are not there. It's unexpected towards the ending too.
The first few episodes was so addictive, i binge watching it until about episode 13-14 then i get bored after that, in eps 16, i really cannot continue so i skipped it then I watch the last episode.. hahaha so yeah, the last 2 episodes are unpredictable.. shocking and good..

As for the acting, lee min ho's acting is good, park min young acting is also good :)

If i need to compare this with healer, i choose healer head over heels.. Healer's character is daebak, i like the lead male's character and also like the second lead male character hahaha

Sole reason for watching…

One name: Lee Min Ho.

Yep. A lot of netizens has been crazed over this drama because of the leading actor. I’m not saying I’m indifferent about this, because in truth, he’s also the reason why I started watching this drama. I’ve been making gifs out of this because I like Min Ho’s character whenever he fights. He uses whatever he finds as a weapon, i.e. a spoon, a file case folder and even a water bottle. So let me define cool.

Lee Yoon Sung. IS. COOL.

The chemistry of the two main characters is very amusing, it even leaves me breathless at times, because of the fact that both may not end up together in blissful happily ever after. I also have this tag line in my head in which I could never forget: Liking someone may not always mean happiness.

That was nicely said by Lee Yun Seong, Min Ho’s character – the city hunter.

To be honest the review is a bit uncomplete. I have only watched 1 episode and yet I find this so addictive. I had only watched 15 minutes of the first episode and I had cried so much!
Lee Min Ho is fantastic.
The drama portrays so much emotion it's hard not to feel as the characters do.
This is also my first KDrama, and I'm glad that I chose this one to watch first. I've always avoided KDramas but now I really don't get why I did! If you miss out on this you miss out on probably the most awesome drama ever.

I cannot wait to watch the next episode! XD

The story is alright, the idea behind it was good it just seems to have strayed creatively along the way. The actors were pretty good although I found a few to be distastefully annoying and it was probably just the character they were portraying but other than that, not bad. The music was not bad, I just didn't notice it too much except for a song here or there, I would most definitely not re-watch this but then again I don't I have ever re-watched any drama i've seen so far. One of my biggest peeves in general whether it's a kdrama or not, is a bad/confusing/ridiculous ending...it just doesn't sit well with me and while the ending for this drama wasn't the most terrible, it was certainly not the best either, throughout the story many things were said and answered all was fairly well until there was a point about midway towards the ending that started to raise questions that by the time the drama was done were left unanswered.

I just shrugged off the ending for the most part but I was annoyed that I ended up with more questions than answers by the end of the drama and the ending itself was a hot mess in it's own way which is probably one of the most parts that left many questions without an answer.

If you are looking to watch something that has action, revenge and some romance then this is not too bad of a watch although some of the plots don't really develop as you would be used to in other dramas like the romantic side of it, there is a lot of back and forth throughout the episodes about the revenge thing and the action scenes were not bad at all, a bit cliched but not terrible.
