This drama is really a rollercoaster. At first, they don't get along, then they get along, then she leaves, then they argue, etc. It just a repeated pattern in the show. And of course, the cliche scenes. One thing that I really enjoyed about this drama is the ost. The best ost I've heard in a while!

I think the main actors did a good job of portraying their characters. But I agreed with a different review saying how the story drags on. The majority of episodes are more like fillers.

Though I did find some parts to be heartwarming especially near the end of the show. I'll rate this a solid 8.5

The show was ok. I like how it had a contract marriage in the show. Something about the show just didn’t click with me. I think the acting was fine. The script was about average there was nothing too special about what was written. There was no big plot twist that was great. The show is just average. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. It was boring to watch. But yet I was able to get through the show pretty quick in a way. The makeup, hair and outfits were nice looking. The translation was very well done. There was too much unneeded drama in this story for sure. I didn’t get how the friends could sell her house without the main girl knowing bout it.

Good To Pass Time!

Ji Eun, Young Jae, Min Hyuk and Hye Won.

Who goes to a foreign country for the first time for a few days with no money?!

Apparently, the female lead in this one does!

There is an awful lot of yelling and arguing from the first episode to the last one between the two main actors and it kind of grows tiresome early on.

I did like Ji Eun, Young Jae and Min Hyuk, but didn't find all the humour or dialogue lines funny or that great at times.

The story was good in parts, but even that dragged in certain episodes.

I didn't know the actor of Ji Eun was the same one in The Glory that just came out! Very versatile it seems.

I didn't enjoy the music, most of the fashion nor Ji Eun's hair style until the last few episodes.

There are a lot of moths and flies whether inside the home, the office or even in the car. In a few shots you can see the shadow of the camera man as well as the equipment and this noticeable glare in all of the actors eyes like they all wore contact lens or something and a light reflected off of them.

What is good is this is light hearted on the most part and it is interesting seeing four different people when it comes to love.

Young Jae, a famous actor, has loved Hye Won for years only it is unrequited love plus they treat each other as close friends. He won't tell her because he doesn't want to be rejected or to lose her.

Hye Won on the other hand loves Min Hyuk who is a lady's man and doesn't reciprocate her feelings at all.

At a party Hye Won embarrasses Young Jae by putting him on the spot about him being in love with her so instead he declares his love and upcoming marriage to Ji Eun to save face only Ji Eun and him hardly know each other.

Ji Eun and Young Jae are actually together as her home has been illigally sold behind her back to him so she is trying to pay off a debt to him as well as get the house back.

As for Min Hyuk...

On receiving some of her written work as a writer to review he actually starts to fall for Ji Eun.

So, we have all these different individuals in love - just not with a person that loves them back!

What happens with all of them unfolds through each episode to the very last.

I will say one thing - in reality if someone keeps standing you up over and over again for another person - don't wait. Seriously! Life is far too short to be waiting for another person who is in love with someone else for years.

This series isn't too bad (except all the screaming and yelling) and will pass the time for sure!

First korean drama that I watched and I watched it with the whole family. It was long time ago when I watched it. The first romcom that pave the way and made the korean drama known to the world. If you will watch it today you will say it's ridiculous and simple. But if you watch it back in the day the korean drama is just starting, you will say it is one of the best. Drama with high rating and adorable OTP. Rain is really goodn he is funny and his crying scene will melt your heart.Song Hye kyo as bubbly and dumb is perfect for the role too. I can say they are cute together. This classi drama is really recommended just don't mind their fashion as that was the trend when they did the drama. This will be my all time fave drama and will always have a place in my heart when it comes to korean drama. Because of this drama I became a Rain fan.

I wanna say this was the first K-drama that I watched as I was growing up. I still remember after watching this that o wanted to watch it again. Years later I was able to watch again and I can tell you I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline and acting are not the best I've seen in dramas as I look back but it's a fun show that made me laugh multiple times. Even now, 15 years later I watched it again and I still enjoyed it. There are parts of the writing that didn't seem strong or maybe the acting didn't portray parts in the best but it recovers quickly.

I don't get why the bad ratings about this one. I fucking liked it, way much more than some popular rom coms around that people rate 8 or 9.
The thing is, is quite rare me liking both of leads, the way I liked these both.
This is a lightheaded drama, this is not supposed to be heart throbbing romance, more like a comedy. And for that it was really good. I had so much fun watching this. No big dramas, tears and complications.
Like I said before, liked both leads. The female lead wasn't that typical crying around female lead, and the male lead at some point was that typical korean jerk, but as time goes by he reveals himself much more like a shy little boy than the jerk. I fucking loved it. Rain look like a little boy smiling, soo cute.
The only thing that may bother some people, is at some point it becomes dragging, but that happens only if you intend to watch everything in only one day. I got to a point, that I was like, fuck i'm tired of watching, them I'd wait some time and watch it again, and I kept having fun, just as much as before.

Full House is a great kinda short series to watch. If you like rich guy/ poor girl then this series is great to watch. It's a cute love story.
Acting/Cast: The actors and actresses are all amazing with their characters. The characters have interesting traits about themselves.
Music: I didn't pay much attention to.
Re-watch Value: It's a great short series time killer if you're wanting to watch something when bored.
Overall: It was a cute story I loved the characters and would watch it again.
Where to watch it: Dramanice or Kocowa

Classic

It was interesting to watch such an old series- the clothes certainly dated it!loved seeing a young Rain and he did play the petulant lead so well. However his constant yelling and bullying did begin to wear on me. As did the premise of his promise to protect the 2cnd female lead as a 9 year old and his constant love for such a passive aggressive character. Which brings me to 2cnd ml - he was so mature and kind and I wish she had fallen for him!
So the FL is a great actress who showed such great hurt without going over the top - I felt her pain. However as a character, with almost constant acquisence to his petty demands of cleaning and cooking, seen most awfully in the 14th episode just infuriated me. Also she did seem to string the 2ml along - he was nothing but loving and patient and she knew she loved the ml so why not tell him clearly he was just a friend to her? Also with the ml the fact he wanted her and yet still ran to the 2fl on demand made me lose my liking for him- he hurt her again and again and it all just dragged on repetitively beyond even the belief of a romcom. He seemed to both want his cake and eat it! I really couldnt see qhy she fellnin love with him as for the most part he wasnt that nice to her!
The humor left me cold- maybe its the age of the film, my age or the cultute clash ( I'm English!) Also despite emotive performances there were no real heart fluttering scenes between the two - not even a hand hold! The first and only kiss was not even lukewarm- most unconvincing kiss I've ever seen!
So overall a light watch that would have been better if cut to less episode's given the repetitive scenes and simple plot , and lack of any real physical affection apart from when one or other of them was sleeping or ill!

I have a love/hate relationship with this show.

Oh boy, I just finished Full House and MINOR SPOILERS about character development incoming…(no plot details)

The thing that repeatedly made me think about dropping this show was the fact that the Male Lead was (for the most part) a childish jerk all the way until halfway through the last episode. When the FL admitted to having feelings for him I was baffled. Usually in these shows with the “mean/jerk male lead” trope there is enough there to explain why the FL has fallen for him. I can’t say I ever understood it on her side. He had moments(rare moments) when he would treat the female lead like a fellow human who deserved respect. Those moments slightly(and I mean by like 1 or 2 percent) increased as the episodes went on. Those moments(really until halfway through the last episode) were never enough to make me convinced of their shared love. I was openly rooting against him which brings me to why I kept watching.

The second male lead, I have no memory of hearing about full house in context of SLS, but man I had it bad in this show. The second male lead was the most charming and charismatic character in the entire show. I loved almost every scene he was in. His acting was brilliant and I also appreciated that he wasn’t the completely pathetic SML that just silently stands by and supports the FL. he fights for her, which is my favorite kind of SML.

The SFL was also great, at first I thought I would hate her, but I thought her arc was handled perfectly and pitched just right. She seemed like a real human.

The FL’s terrible “friends” were really funny IMO, although they were sometimes annoying.

The last characters I want to mention are the ML’s family. I loved his grandma, she was so funny and her relationship with the FL became so so sweet. I wished there had been more development of the plot/relationship between the ML and his dad, they seemed to set it up as this major thing only to barely wrap it up in the end, which was disappointing.

The only reason why I rated this show overall as high as I did was because the chemistry between the ML and FL is really strong, so despite me not being convinced of why she falls for him, it’s obvious on the screen that they are in love and happy when they are together. It works too well to deny it.

One last note that doesn’t fit anywhere else in my review. The OST for the show was good, I enjoyed it, but there were some covers of some English songs that were really weird and bad and distracting, so that’s why I rated music so low.
I won’t be rewatching this. I do rewatch my favorites, but watching Rain be a childish jerk for over 16 hours just isn’t an experience worth repeating.

Full House started with a lame plot. Who would let friends cheat you like that? But, you would start warming up to the story within no time. Rain as Lee Young-jae, his innocent smile, Song Hye-kyo as Han Ji-eun and her beauty, and their chemistry would make you fall in love with this drama. But, the fashion sense in this drama is really bad.

I'm one f the biggest fan of (rain) but i have to admit i was so disappointed after watching this
i had a great expectations after seeing everyone was talking about how much this drama is amazing
if i watched this at the beginning of my KD's watching journey
i think i would like it
but after a years of watching KD's i think i can judge stories well
so i think this drama was too childish for adults
and the plot was weak

too much quarreling , too much yelling and too much childish actions

the last 10 min. in this drama was nearly the best
and the only heart warming moments when they talked seriously and calmly
i have never seen that much of selfishness, filthy and hustler
like those who called themselvese friends in this drama

the story was draggy almost no side stories
just the same repetative scenes for the both leads yelling and quarreling
really it could be much more amazing than that
i thought the ML's family will take a good space in the story but it' doesn't happen

the Fl's taste in fashion and hair style was the worst

thank God i watched it because
i had it on my watching list for too long
this drama is for watching once

The characters were horrible

Was this drama entertaining? Yes. Was it good? No. Did the characters make me want to throw my phone across the room every five seconds? Absolutely.
I have to get this off my chest because it made me so heated every single episode, THE MALE LEAD WAS THE LOWEST OF TRASH!! He was a manipulative, lazy, mean, lying person whose word meant nothing. It felt like every single episode he would make a promise to her and then immediately say that it meant nothing and he’s not gonna keep it anymore. He made me so mad with the way he would treat her and be mad as to why she would pack up and leave. Also he would like play with her emotions like they meant nothing and he would do it so much that I just stopped rooting for them to be together after 5 episode. All I know is that he needs to get a therapist to learn how to manage his emotions.
Im just gonna say it…the female lead was stupid. Well not completely stupid but she tolerated too much and was way too forgiving. The ML would constantly be screaming and berating her and she would STILL be nice to him and always always take him into consideration. Every time he stood her up or said the meanest things ever she would time and time again still forgive him and still like him. Idk I just think that she’s way too good for him and shouldn’t have married him( his proposal was also ass).
I’m not even gonna talk about her “friends” they make me too mad.
The only redeemable character imo is Hye Won. Obviously at first I hated her because she never wanted the ML until her first choice rejected her, but after giving it some thought I understood her. They were childhood best friends and she didn’t realize how precious he was to her until she was losing him. I think her pursuing Young Jae was the normal thing to do after finding out he was in a fake marriage. She never treated the FL terribly and only ever aimed to make the ML hers. I had so much respect for her especially when she let him go to the FL despite her feelings for him, she was really strong for letting him go even when she still loved him so much. And she STILL became friends with the FL by the end of the show, she was 100% the best character with the best character development.
Story wise it was pretty entertaining ig but still very annoying.
