Overall this was a great other half and from now on I shall quit breaking/merging the episodes up. So moving on.
I thought Shin Hye Sun did a wonderful job at being blind. She is a lovely prima ballerina. Her arms are lovely. Though I think they picked that dress because she doesn't quite have the feet. Though only a dancer—especially a ballet dancer—would pick that up. Either way her arms and hands hit beautifully. So I was right. It's not that her dancing has hindered her in being a ballerina. It's simply that she is still grieving. She's in the anger/hate stage. She cursed everyone and everything. Hating her existence.
It's moving seeing her history with Jo Seung Hwan. The instance I saw their past I knew that if she does get her eyesight back it will be Jo Seung Hwan eyes. Likely of them being a match is ridiculously low in reality, but this is dramaland! Not to mention the cruel things that she said to him in the back of the car. Especially after Kim Dan mentioned before that she will regret everything she has said to Jo Seung Hwan. It's easy to let your rage out on those you love when you're suffering. It would only make Lee Yeon Seo's story more tragic to recieve the eyes of her "second" father.
Ni Na isn't really developed. But she is a stereotype at this point. She's the second to Lee Yeon Seo. I beautiful soul. A person who hit a cat and wants to stop to save it. If what her dad said is true she probably did mourn Lee Yeon Seo's tragedy. Though if they keep with this trope eventually she will turn into a villian becuase she no longer can take other's cruelties or she'll just let it happen even knowing. You know the kind. I hope—because of the writer—she'll be more complex!
Anywho. Tragedy is gearing up for Lee Yeon Seo! Though I believe she will get her eyes back! To be honest I did like the idea of a blind leading lady. We'll see what happens. Especially to Kim Dan. As flashbacks show Kim Dan and Yeon SEo must have had a past. Looks like young Yeon Seo saved young Kim Dan from suicide? Or at least from dying. Goodness. Even this drama can not escape the tragic setup of knowing each other as children. Or at least the whole paths crossing.
(I can't believe it! I ramble just as much with 30 min episodes as the full 1 hour ones!)
