The acting is typical Asian comedy acting, over the top but not bad. Yamamoto Yusuke is his same crazy self we know and love! I hadn't seen Nishiuchi Mariya in much else other than GTO, but she is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
I could defiantly watch this again. Who doesn't love a drama thats funny, over the top, cute and silly, yet still makes you feel alot of emotions!

The acting is a bit over exaggerated...but if you've watched other Japanese dramas before you probably wont mind it as much.
There really isn't much to say about it, I enjoyed it and it's worth the watch if you need something to put you into a good mood because it's very simple and happy.
Don't let my lower ratings make you not want to watch it, for all you know this could be just what you're looking for!

And I'm going to be honest. The manga is better.
That being said, this live adaptation is still ultimately worth checking out, especially since it doesn't require a huge investment of time and emotional energy.
Story: The drama begins by following the story of the manga pretty closely, and the first few episodes are thoroughly enjoyable. As the episodes go on, though, don't be surprised when things start to deviate from the original story. I'm usually pretty forgiving of book-to-movie, or in this case manga-to-drama, alterations, since you just can't fit everything, but unfortunately, I found things to fall a little flat here. I won't give away why.
The drama is directed in a very manga-esque style, which maintains the light-hearted, zaniness of the original. Though the appearance of some of the characters has changed (like Ito), Shiraishi looks like she stepped right off the page. Some of the characters' personalities and background stories are changed, too, and though they're not as fleshed-out as in the manga, the changes fit the adaptation (though I personally think Noa's character suffered a lot -- this is my biggest complaint).
Acting/Cast: My biggest round of applause for the whole show goes to Nishiuchi Mariya as Shiraishi, but more importantly as Yamada. As Shiraishi, her character was the most faithful to the manga. As Yamada, she was simply brilliant. She and Yamamoto Yusuke (Yamada) worked together excellently to mimic each other's movements and personalities during the body swap sequences. I enjoyed Yamamoto's performance as Yamada, but I admit I felt refreshed to go back to the real Yamada when catching up on the newest manga releases. I'll also give shout-outs to Ide Takuya (Miyamura), Triendl Reina (Ito) and Yukie Kawamura (Saionji) for brightening the show up with their talents. The rest of the cast was good, just not AS good.
Music: The music fit the liveliness of the show very well and was fairly catchy (I think I had it stuck in my head on an occasion or two), but I wouldn't buy the soundtrack.
Rewatch value: If I were one to rewatch dramas, I might rewatch this one. Keep it on hand for a good pick-me-up on a gloomy day, especially since, as I mentioned earlier, it doesn't take that long to watch.
Overall: I'm going to agree with a lot of the other reviews and say that this is definitely worth checking out as a quick, light-hearted comedy/romance with a lot of silliness, kissing and fantasy. Don't expect to relive the wonder that is the manga, and don't expect to find your new favorite drama, and I think it could be rather enjoyable for you. Not overwhelmingly satisfying, not heart-warmingly emotional, not the manga, but a romp worth taking.

It's set in a school and based mainly on friendship,so people who have Ouran Host Club or Yukan Club may enjoy it.There is also a little romance (Yay!).
The main leads are really cute and good at acting.
It's my first review, so not totally sure about the reviewing thing yet but I hope it helped.

Acting: Kudos to all of the actors and actresses for pulling off a live-action without it being too ridiculous and overly exxagerated. I really enjoyed the various facial expressions and renditions of "imaginations"; but I think this credit goes to the director, screen writer and producer as well. Job well done!
Music: To be honest, not my cup of tea, but the selection of songs itself is appropriate for this drama. Cute, sweet and funny - which suited the theme of the drama.
Rewatch value: High rewatch value, especially during this holiday season. With only 8 episodes, it is short, straight to the point and downright funny... which helped with its rewatch value. Certainly a drama you'd want to enjoy with your feet up, snuggled in comfy blankets while in your PJs with popcorn, chips and coke by your side.
Overall: Wonderful entertainment for those of us looking for a good laugh and a ligh hearted spirit for this coming holiday season. Works well too for those of us who wants a break from all those melo or mediocre romance dramas that are on offer at the moment. Great stress reliever too! In short, highly recommended! :)

The casts are great. They portray their characters very well especially the two main leads, Yamamoto Yusuke and Nishiuchi Mariya.
I'd only seen Yamamoto Yusuke in Hana Kimi and Paradise Kiss before watching this so I still didn't know much about his acting skills (because he didn't have much appearance in both which I could use to assert if I like him or not). He didn't disappoint me, though. I believe he did a good job in portraying Yamada Ryu. There are scenes when I couldn't help but think that, "WHOA THERE! HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO FILM THAT?" Such scenes became the reason why I'm looking forward to see more of his shows. He is really admirable for me in this one.
Meanwhile, I've seen Nishiuchi Mariya in Seigi no Mikata and Switch Girl! so I have a pretty good impression of her. I believe she's at her best in this show whenever she's acting as Yamada Ryu.
As for others, I believe they did their job well. There are no other ones who I deemed so memorable except Ide Takuya and Kobayashi Ryoko, though.
The ending songs an upbeat one so it gives the feels for the show. In my opinion, though, it's not so outstanding. The music played on specific parts just fits the scenes.
For me, this is good to re-watch especially when stressed over academic stuff. HAHA! I truly enjoyed watching each and every episode. I'll definitely re-watch this someday.
I would recommend this to those stressed over work or school stuff. Or this can also be a break for those who want to pause watching melodrama shows. Or this can also be a show to watch for bonding time with friends.

8 Episodes are enough, it just made this drama crisp and to the point. Not dragging at all. Every character had a serious role to play and no unwanted or extra characters in this drama.
If you are a drama fanatic and looking for something different than your usual romcom, then this is for you. It has high-school romance, supernatural stuff, comedy and a bit of action too.
In my opinion this drama has it all and it is worth your time. I have not watched the anime version of this. Hence, I kind of am not able to compare how good or bad this drama is compared to the anime.
But I can tell you one thing, this drama is worth your time. Go give this a try!

Story: 8.5/10
I went into this drama not knowing anything except something about switching bodies tbh. The only reason why I watched this drama in the first place was because people have said the anime was really funny but instead of watching the anime version first, I watched the real life adaptation. I have to say this one was actually funny in some ways and I didn't really expect anything from this drama to have it but you can actually relate to the characters in some way with their story.
Acting/Cast: 8.0/10
Tbvh some of the characters are very cringey. Like when they try to act very mysterious, they kind of fail. Beware, some actions the characters make are very overdramatic but it did't bother me that much. It's my second time seeing Nishiuchi Mariya (my first time was from switch girl). Her acting didn't really stand out that much as it did in switch girl. Yamamoto Yusuke who plays Yamada did stand out a lot and even though he exaggerates a lot, he was good overall. The rest were pretty good but surprisingly I really liked the person that played miyamura. Idk why?
Music:5.0/10
Music didn't really stand out in this but theres always this piano playing when they were being deep and all and I liked that. I always skipped the ending song so I don't really know what it sounds like.
Rematch Value:9.5/10
This is a surprise to me since I'm not the type of person to rewatch and it's very rare for me but considering on how many episodes it has and how long each episode was, It's very easy to just watch it again.
Overall:8.0/10
I give it this overall score because it was enjoyable. The reason why I didn't give it a score higher or lower than that was because it did not keep me off the edge of my seat and all it did was keep me very entertained.
