Here you will find all you need to know, things you did not know you wanted to know and things that just may settle your curiosity about 2022's watch challenge. If you by any chance do not find the answers to your questions or just want to discuss the challenge, this is where you do it!

  • A title is anything you can watch found on the MDL database, unless stated otherwise.

  • Each title must be watched from start to finish between January 1 and December 27, 2022. WITH THE EXCEPTION of  Peppermint nr 10:   Watch a title from your “Not Interested” or “Dropped” list.  That is the ONLY exception!

  • Each title can only be used for one recipe in the challenge (tip: use custom list to keep track

  • You must watch the entire drama/movie/special for it to count WITH THE EXCEPTION of recipe 3/3 that specifies: "Watch at least 5 episodes of a title listed as a TV SHOW." That is the ONLY exception!

  • It is okay to re-watch titles you saw in previous years as long as you watch the whole title during 2022-if you started a show on December 30, 2021, and watched 2 episodes in 2021, you can ONLY use that title if you RE-WATCH those two episodes from 2021.

  • Example:  By December 27, 2022, you may have seen D.P.  in its entirety 10 times: 5 times in 2021 and 5 times in 2022. You may only use it once for any given year’s challenge (so if you used it in 2021, you can use it in 2022 but only for one category).

Peppermints/Bonuses

  • They are found at the bottom of the signup sheet.

  • They can be used as a substitute (switched out) for anything in the challenge to help you complete a block. Each one can only be used once (unless otherwise specified), and peppermints are NOT a block.

 Infogar bild...

  • Recipe-Block are groups of 5 Recipes (descriptions) for chosen Ingredients (titles).
  • The whole Recipe-Block must be completed to be counted unless stated otherwise.
  • You need to complete at least 2 Recipe-Blocks (10 titles) to complete the challenge.
  • Do not pay attention to the names of the blocks; they are just there for fun.
  • You may chose any number of the 46  Recipe-Blocks in the challenge and finish both the blocks and the recipes  in any order you you like.
  • You can move around ingredients (tittles) as much as you want on the worksheet  while you are working  on it.

Genres;  We have made this tutorial but also included a link to the requested genre in the recipe.

Tags;  We have made this tutorial but also included a link to the requested tag in the recipe.

Main focus: The main focus will be found both in the keywords as well as the description of the title and among its tags. We have also made voting lists where people can add recommendations for the recipes that include the words “Main focus.”

Titles that focus on: To find a title that focuses on something without it being the main theme can be a little bit tricky. It may be included among the tags or in the description, but it is not a requirement from us that it be tagged unless we state to find a certain tag. While watching a title you are sure to notice if there are one or two scenes that focus on... We have therefore made voting lists where people can add recommendations for the recipes that include the words "focus on." We highly recommend you add yours to the list as you find them, and if something is important in the story and has a tag relevant to it, under "Edit this page->Genres" you can add the tag (you'll want to leave a brief explanation at the bottom for why the tag applies).

Titles that feature...  or where significant scene... As with titles that focus on, this can be a little bit tricky-it may be included among the tags or in the description, but being tagged or in a synopsis is, again, not required for this. While watching a title you are sure to notice if the title features what we are asking for or a significant scene shows what we've asked for. These, too, have voting lists where people can add recommendations for the recipes that include the word “features" or "significant scene..."

Awards: We have a list with awards here, you are free to use any award including a spelling award from 1st grade, just add a link.

Films that are 3-hours long?  Here is a list we compiled.

Old movies with English subtitles? You can use THIS or the lists our amazing challengers helped create in the discussion thread.

To  all of those participating in this years challenge!

People have started turning in their forms, so here is  a small update that we may not have been clear about .

We kindly ask all participants to wait until they have completed the challenge before they post their turn-in forum and/or delete and repost the turn in forum in case of changing the levels. As we keep updating the hall of fame  as people turn in their forms, some of these turn in forums can be easily missed.

  • Peppermint: 5." Watch a title featuring Non-Consensual Sex Acts" seems to have confused some participants.  This  is an umbrella term we used to cover any acts sexual nature  where full consent from all the people involved can not be fully guaranteed
To be clear:  Any mention of it will be okay it does not  have to feature actual scenes of the behavior.

  • We do not condone these acts but want to make way for the stories about the people affected by them.

We hope everyone have fun and be safe watching!

  • There was a small error with Recipe Block number 1  when we transferred the sign up sheet from the source to the forum, but it should be fixed by now, and should look like this:
