I wanted to try something fun this year. I came across this genre challenge first here - http://kp-invasion.blogspot.ca/2012/12/2013-drama-watching-challenge-genre.html

I decided to tweak it a little to include all asian countries.

1) Atleast one title for each genre
    ->  Level 1 (Drama Hoobae)- 10+ genres
    ->  Level 2 (Drama Sunbae) - 20+ genres
    ->  Level 3 (Drama Addict) - 30+ genres
2) It could be a J/K/TW/Thai/C/HK drama
3) If there's no drama in a particular genre, we can also watch a movie. For example, there's no kdrama in the animal genre.

Genres include (but are not limited to)

Action - Adventure - Business - Comedy - Crime - Detective - Drama - Family - Fantasy - Friendship - Historical - Investigation - Law - Life - Manga - Medical - Melodrama - Music - Mystery - Psychological - Revenge - Romance -  School - Sitcom - Supernatural - Suspense - Thriller - Time Travel - Tragedy -  Vampire

My goal is to expand my comfort zone and discover the best dramas in different genres :D
I plan to watch atleast two titles in each genre. Preferably, one jdrama and one kdrama.

I would categorise Horse Doctor as "Animal" ??

And as far as the challenge goes I think i have seen something from every category :D
I recommend Roosevelt Game for "Business"
@Rosie, I didn't know Horse Doctor can be categoried under animal genre. It's listed as historical and medical both in MDL and dramawiki. Thanks for the info. :) Is it good? The comments made me think it'll be long and boring.

@lily_b, I was also thinking of Hanzawa Naoki. I'm not really into business type of dramas, so I don't know which one I'll like..For kdrama, I plan to watch Misaeng.
I  never completed the challenge... I think. Lol
Yay, I managed to complete the challenge! Finished it last week actually. Watched atleast one (mostly two) drama in each.
