Its gotten worse, they have no CC button from episode 9 on... So now the last 4 episodes are without english subs.

I sulk about that since months now....  ;( I really wanted to finish it.

It got traditional culture (Vietnamese opera), 20th century Saigon aesthetics, 2 handsome men, and great cinematography. The only downside is the romance is not explicit, and there's a kill ur gay trope... But it's worth a watch for the culture alone.

Another highly recommended BL is Lost in Paradise, which is considered as Vietnam's first genuine BL, and the 1st piece of work that triggered the BL craze for the past 10 years. It also has a sequel but not many people like it. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5i5xoh

I'm Vietnamese so I watched it in a Vietnamese site without English sub, sorry... But I'm sure many pirated sites have it. And Amazon has it as well.

Don't know how i like this idea...i would prefer a logical ending over an fan choosen one. And who in the world would choose a sad ending?

somehow this reminds of an taiwan-BL with a tragical ending out of nowhere ( I don't want to spoil so Ì don't name it here...) but maybe  that ending was fan choosen too... ;)

BtW: Stage of Love was very boring in the first episode, don't know if i drop or continue

I watched the whole thing. It was average. If you keep watching it takes on one if those weird turns. I really liked the special/extra episodes the best though. You could always speed through the episodes if you are that unsure.
