Recommend? Finished! I feel like there were like 6 different plots going on in this drama as Fuyao & Wuji go on MANY crazy adventures and gain a wholesome and loyal friends group! I really love the friendship and the love between the leads in this drama. EVERY. SINGLE. ACTOR. BROUGHT THEIR A GAME!!! Just some GREAT acting all around. I give this a 9.5/10 because I feel like towards the end the drama kind of slipped up plot-wise.

Finished! I really liked this drama, especially because of Ashile Sun. Leo Wu really took this drama to another level. I do feel like towards the end the plot was a bit lost, but the good acting made-up for it.

Dilraba did a good job, but her character was super frustrating sometimes... if it was not her playing the character I might not have endured. Zhao Lu Si was another highlight. Her and Ha Dou's progression of their relationship was just the sweetest thing. This was my 1st drama with her & she did amazing. I cannot wait to watch more stuff with her. Then, I really love She'er... I felt so sorry for him bc he has been lied to & used his whole life. He really has such a sweet and innocent heart. Last, the acting of the Emperor was so top-tier... he expresses his self so well.

Definitely recommend! 9/10

This is the best Chinese Drama I have ever seen. It has an AMAZING plot with superb acting & the right mix of humor, action & heartfelt scenes.

All royal families are ruined for me now because this show has the best emperor, empress & consort.

Although, there were some major bumps along the way, the FL, Shaoshang, has my favorite family. Last, but not least, Zisheng is probably my favorite ML from all Asian dramas. Since watching The Long Ballad, I just knew Leo Wu was a phenomenal actor & I cannot wait to watch his future shows.

The most tragic and heartbreaking drama I have ever Chinese drama I have ever watched.

Amazing but brutal & heartbreaking story. This show was purposely made to rip out the viewer's hearts and trample on it umpteenth times. My heart feels bruised after finishing this.

Everyone's acting was good, but Darren's was mesmerizing in this role. His screen presence was too strong & I felt like he had me in a trance most of the time. His character reminded me so much of Itachi, one of my favorite anime characters. I really wanted him to be happy and do something for himself... but he keep putting others 1st and just wanted to be in pain.

Never seen Xiao Zhan in a drama before, but he was an exceptional 2nd lead. He has made me a fan.
Also, I did not expect to, but I really ended up loving Yao Ji's & Bao Na's characters.

If you are thinking about watching this, just prepare your mind and soul for the therapy you are going to need afterward! Because, I think somebody hurt the writers for the emotional abuse they put the audience through with this show. I mean the pure torture my heart went through. Smh. I still loved it though & the OSTs is one of the best from a Chinese drama. 9.5/10

So, I watched this for Jeremy Tsui bc I heard he was a good actor, but I am not sure what to think of him after this drama. His make-up was not good in here and facial expressions were weird.

I usually am one of those people who believe in watching shows to form my opinion despite negative reviews, but I want to warn you guys THIS IS NOT THE SHOW FOR YOU! I love solving mysteries shows and this was exactly that and it was decent in the beginning, BUT it lost my interest quickly.

The leads had a cute chemistry, but I cannot say that they were likable characters… like I did not feel the need to root for anything they did. THEN, THE ENDING WAS TRASH! I mean I, feel as though it is not worth the time bc it is a mediocre story with a BAD ENDING!

If you came for a romance, FORGET ABOUT IT. It says slow-burn, but I want to say almost non-existent. I do not recommend. 2/10 Maybe less. 2 stars for the ML’s mom & the OST.

All I am going to say is I lost interest in the last 5 episodes. This reminded of how I felt with Love & Redemption bc they introduced characters (Xuanye & Rangqing) I loved more than ALL of the cast. At least my favorite couple got their happy ending. As for the ending, it was so rushed. I do not regret watching it bc it definitely had its good moments.

I guess I will go watch the extra 4 minute clips they added. Something to watch to pass time. 7.5-8.0

I am not sure why it took me so long to watch this, but I really liked it... The leads were so hilarious together. Xiao Tan is my favorite character. I will say those last 4 episodes were very strange. It was not bad per se, but there was much going on. I was trying to figure out what exactly was going on in the last few episodes. It goes from time traveling to wuxia to BL. Like what is going on?! ? Then, the weird ending... thank goodness there is another season because the end left a meh taste in my mouth. 8.0/10

NiNi is such an amazing actress. I never thought I would love a FL as much as I love Bai Qian, but NiNi as Ling Xi is so perfect. Lingxi is one of my favorite female leads so far. I love her spunky & naive spunky personality. Also, I love how she was gradually able to melt his cold heart.

Lingxi had such a top-tier family.  Her sister, Qingyao, is the best sister in a C-Drama because of how loyal she was to her sister. I noticed that the CDrama sisters usually betray one another but these sisters had one another's back no matter what. Her 'dad' Lebo is the best father. I love how hilarious and caring! Also, her mom is so elegant and had loved how she went out of her way to save her. 

As for the male lead, I did not think Jiuchen was handsome enough for me to keep on watching this show, but he really grew on me. & I actually really liked his character.  For the most part, I admired the way he would go all-out for his woman, Lingxi. His love for her was so pure and amazing, but I would say I could NEVER be with a guy like Jiuchen. He is amazing when he is with his girl, but he chose the world over her twice... seriously! Be selfish and let someone else do it! 

Yunfeng is so funny. I wondered how he was going to be with the one he loves because I thought he wronged her in a MAJOR way, but everything was explained of course and he & Qingyao were so adorable together!

At first, I was intrigued by Jingxiu's character, but as the drama went on he became so annoying acting as if Lingxi belonged to him! 

Shisan is the best! Although, she does deserve better than Siming.
People who need to die a slow & painful death: Yuantong & god of heavenly thunder

This drama should be called 'The Betrayed Princess" because pretty much everyone she loved betrayed her to get ahead except 3-4 people. Also, Prince Helan is such a charming devil. I cannot help but like him.

The first 18-20 were cute then it started to drag and the FL was annoying me. Fang Leng helped me power through those last 8 episodes.

This is pretty much the same story as the 1st season, but I liked it about the same because the leads had so much chemistry! The love triangle had me on edge because I wanted her to be with the modern Cheng Cheng!

This drama surprised me by being one of my favorite C-Dramas of  2023.

I love both sisters' personalities, storylines, and trust in one another. They were holding their own in the Heavenly and Void Realm. Also, I am glad they got switched because, in the end, they both got with whom they needed to get with. So, I enjoyed the development of the romances.

As soon as my favorites were announced as the leads in this drama, I was HIGHLY ANTICIPATING it because I love them in Love Is Sweet & I love any of my favorites in a good costume drama. 

Luo Yunxi + Bai Lu owe me some money for the therapy sessions because from beginning to end this drama made my emotions go on an intense rollercoaster ride. I barely caught a moment to breathe when there were happy times in here then we were back to angst. 

Let's talk about Luo Yunxi as Tantai Jin. He is the BEST character in the show and low-key saved the whole show. I always knew Luo Yunxi could act, but he showed out in this drama. He expressed his emotions so well in his eyes and voice so I always feel so deeply any emotion he is conveying. I dare say... he is the best when it comes to that. He completely won me over with this performance as all 3 characters... TOP 3 C-Drama actors. I even love him over my fave Bai Lu now.

Lie to Love, Light Chaser Rescue, One and Only, Lucky's First Love

A mostly fun drama with some dark elements that affected the ending... not in a bad way. Neo Hu was so hot + cute at the same time.  Zhou Ye was just my type of female lead and I am adding all of her dramas to my list. The leads had the most adorable chemistry and their dynamic with the supporting was hilarious but endearing. 8.5/10

What to say about this disappointing drama. I have so many expectations since my favorite actress Bai Lu is in here and I like Dylan Wang, but it did not live up to the hype in my head. I barely hung on watching this drama. I think my love for Bai Lu kept me pushing, Dylan's hotness & other couples. It had so many unnecessary stupid misunderstandings and I wanted to break everyone's phone because it kept interrupting every important moment. The last 6 episodes with them were my favorite and felt like my reward after enduring so much torture. It was mainly because the misunderstandings were resolved and the leads finally had the intense chemistry I knew they could have. This will probably be my least favorite drama with both of them.

Throughout the drama, I liked the secondary & third couples more than the main one. At one point, they were helping me get through the drama. Qin Shi Yue is the best character in this drama!!!!!!!!!!  Although everyone treated her as a child, I think she is the most mature one here.

The cast did what they could with this abysmal script, but some things cannot be saved. I will say the OST was good & the last 6 eps saved this drama from being rated any lower. 6.0/10

You Are My Glory was a light, peaceful mature drama with no unnecessary breakups or drama. The main couple communicated so well and even though their careers were POLAR OPPOSITES, they supported each other dreams to help them get to the next level.

Yang Yang + Reba was one of my dream C-Drama pairings and not only did they meet my standards... they greatly exceeded it. Their chemistry was so natural and effortless as though they were a real couple. And, of course, it would not be a Yang Yang romance drama if he did not flirt-tease his significant other... another great highlight of co-starring with Yang Yang. 

One of my favorite C-Drama 10/10.

This is the typical Heavenly Emperor who is power-hungry and it just happens to be his brother. I did love the premise of the leads undergoing multiple trials, but some of the trials were tedious to get through, especially when the misunderstandings made me want to punch the screen. But, I will say I liked the leads were so adorable together and that kept me going because the plot was alright.

One of the best CEO-type dramas I have ever seen... only Love Is Sweet surpasses it. The natural chemistry between the leads made this drama.
