I agree, office romances are my favourite along with historical dramas set in the first half of the 20th century…
Awwww, I am more Painter of the Night (2026), Nobleman Ryu's Wedding (2021), My Dearest (2023), Captivating the King (2024) era (pretty sure some were Joseon and Quing Dynasty), Kill to Love (2025), Journey with You (2026)... but something like Bittersweet Love or The Edge of Horizon (2026) are so good you don't want to miss it. I was itching to watch IFYLITA finally (or Jorney with you for that matter)... but no, i could not force it, but with The Edge of Horizon (2026) there was an instant click in chemistry :D
I will give you that it might be off putting even for me, some of it - but it spreads EVERYWHERE, at least some, so i would have to drop everything? No. I sometimes apply volume down pieces of it. Also I am shifted it seems, cause you are definitelly right about the forced comedy aspect, but not for once I read it as forced comedy, more like a slight tragedy - which is my thing, I tend to ignore things i might not like if there is something in it for me that overshines with quality over some setbacks and fuckups. Or chances are they made it here so obviously overexageratted I did not take it seriously for one second. I shall try to continue to do so until the end, for this has some very promising things in it. Anyways, ty for the different opinion!
I agree, I can totally picture her becoming a supporting fujoshi after being politely rejected, hopefully they'll…
lol - OMG, the longer i stew it in my head the more i LOVE what i have seen - i might start to warm up to the idea with obsessing with this office romance series <3 (just needed to share i find it ingenius, this lil one)
I'm loving that Japan is getting more and more of "adulter" BL characters (like 35+ or something) instead…
lol, yay! to that - and i definitelly agree, Japan hype for making for us adult couples too (mainly really, i can name like six 30+++ couples in recent series, i would not name that many from anywhere else (Asia-wise).
...mnoooouuuu, u must not see waht meets the eye, thou shall read in betwen drama's lines (evil twin... evil tw...ink... evil father... evil lookalike... evil dopple ganger... evil poltergeist... evil... and hey, he had a mask, you would not tell... in reality - and you would not tell in teality if that rapist was not even registered by your brain... huh)
The moments you list also ticked me off. Twice does Chaeha do nothing while Taesung gets roughed up. Then Taesung…
yes, indeed - after Payback is over, we are screwed... kinda (plus or minus) - but hey, this summer was/is so succesfull in highly promising BLs (and they are many) that does not happen that frequently, right?
to go all jealous ๐๐๐
in currently watching? How is season 2?
