Sadly its likely that it would continue like that,bc the side couples actually didnt happen in that timeline in…
Ughh knowing that, it got me thinking...maybe it would have been better if Drake and Frank were given "bonus" time at the end of the episodes, like how in SOTUS S they did all their product placements at the end as a little side piece lol. Or just give them their own show if the character's have their own book. (Or just write them in more seamlessly lol).
Exactly!! Also there is one more couple which will come next week. Imo one side couple was enough,
What?? Another side couple!? I'm usually all for them but in this series, not so much! haha Maybe they'll only get a little amount of time like in other series, which usually leaves me disappointed but is something I'd be totally okay with here lol
One of the things I love about Win's portrayal of Tine is that he has this sweet, innocent, naive look about him sometimes when interacting with Sarawat. Like when he's telling Sarawat how much he loves the band Scrubb and is asking Sarawat to play his favorite song for him (ok yeah the motive is questionable but the genuineness is there haha). Or just looking at Sarawat being his amazing self. I don't know how to explain it, but he just emotes so well!! It's a really good juxtaposition to Bright/Sarawat's bad boy broody vibe <3
I feel like a lot of the BL community (who’s probably be most interested in watching this haha) doesn’t really…
Yeah, I feel like as is (whether current format or movie, since it’s basically a movie anyway lol) it would have been better to just focus on the main couple and half-brother storyline, so that both could have been properly developed. What they tried to give us would have been better as a longer drama with more time devoted to building and elaborating everything. I think they tried to cram too much here and it didn’t work due to the time constraints.
Storyline was simple, nothing revolutionary (pupil falls for tutor, but relationship is frowned upon by parental figure), but it was cute. Dew was really adorable as Tone (his face and the pure joy in his voice when he saw the Charlie Brown figure....come on, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t melt haha), but in general the acting was a bit stiff. Plot was rather slow and not a whole lot happened within those 25 minutes. Overall, it’s what I’d expect from a low-budget short film. 5.5/10.

Yes I agree about lack of promotion and probably due to funding as you said (which if true is a shame because I feel this could have been so much better if they had the funds to really develop into a proper drama).
And haha sounds like we had the same mindset on UWMA; glad to know I’m not alone!
This is the least active BL comment section I've ever seen.....But it's understandable.
I feel like a lot of the BL community (who’s probably be most interested in watching this haha) doesn’t really know about this show? I kind of stumbled upon it somehow (can’t quite remember how), and shows like 2gether (brilliant) and Why R U (meh) are the current obsession over there, and Until We Meet Again (snoozefest) before that, so people may just not know about this one?
* General disclaimer: I know UWMA is well-loved by many but it is one of the most boring, overhyped dramas I’ve seen so I can’t hide my feelings when talking about it. Please no one come for me lol
Well first ep took a direction I was not expecting. But yeah, good acting (natural, and with some real kisses too!), decent writing, and interesting plot. (Also, I just gotta say that the acting coach is soooo pretty).
Loved this just as much as part 1. Just wish we didn't have to wait what's probably another year for part 3. :(
Maybe we’ll get lucky. I watch another Netflix drama, Elite, and although there was a year between seasons 1 and 2, there was only like 6 months between Season 2 and 3, which surprised me. So maybe they’ll surprise us with Kingdom like that haha
So I'm re-watching DBK and who's photo do I see just casually hanging on a wall in the background during one scene? Why, it's none other than our favorite brooding, love-struck guitarist hahahahaha. Not really surprised because it is GMM after all, but had to share because it definitely was not something I caught the first time I watched. XD
