I watched the first episode of “The Untamed” and there were a lot of people that were turned into or taken over by “monsters/zombie-like characters.” Do the remaining episodes follow this theme? Otherwise, I was really interested in watching this. Thanks.

I have logged in three times and keep getting kicked out by Mydramalist (I’m guessing because of all the annoying ads). So here ismy short review...
“The Longest Day In Chang’an” is a must-watch. Best drama ever! All aspects are excellent, realistic and intriguing. Good ending (not a cliff-hanger). I can’t wait to see the sequel. I finished this on Amazon because they had the remaining episodes with subs.

Be careful of spoilers for other people. Just knowing those two are alive at the end can give away quite a bit of the story

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I absolutely felt that she deserved him.

I am really enjoying this drama. Everything about it is excellent--the plot, cinematography, acting--everything so far (except for the continual interruptions of advertisements for the translators quite often throughout the scenes by Viki.com. This is very annoying and they are still doing it! Although I really appreciate the translators, the company should just pay them what they deserve and stop advertising their team name as "compensation" while people are trying to focus on the show.)
I have just finished the action-packed episode 16 which is a cliff hanger like all the rest. But my question is what happened between the ending of 16 and the beginning of episode 17? I thought I accidentally skipped something. There were two major events that occurred at the end of episode 16 and the beginning of the next episode just seems to skip right over those. It's almost like we are missing a half episode--or an entire one. Why would they cut out so much--especially since it was a big part of the story? I suppose it might be a style of writing, but it doesn't seem that way.
Otherwise this is an amazing drama so far and I highly recommend watching it. (I like it as much as Tribes and Empires so far and love that one of my same favorite characters is in this --Zhou Yi Wei, not to mention that the lead character is also really amazing!)

Really cute drama. I thought it would be too long, but it wasn't. The actors were all adorable, but the chemistry between the main leads was questionable sometimes. I never did quite understand Bu Wai's character in the entire drama--I kept waiting but he never did anything. You should watch this drama.

Really good movie although pretty violent/bloody since, after all, it is about the battle. Good story line and actors (Jo In Sung was excellent but needed more time to further develop his character). The female lead (not the sister, but the ex-relationship), was of little interest. They probably could have taken her out of the story completely. The plot was a bit predictable at one point but there were some good surprises. I think it would have been a lot better if it had been a drama with more episodes. I recommend watching this (and also my favorite movie, "Red Cliff"--parts 1 and 2--amazing!!

This drama was really sooo good! In fact, nearly perfect in my eyes. The storyline included everything--romance, suspense, friendships, family, humor, "fandom," love, sensitivity, appreciation of the arts--I could go on. (Also, it was nice to watch a drama that was so interesting without having mean, vicious or violent scenes.) Usually I watch period/historical dramas the most, although I try to watch all the amazing current-day dramas too (one that stands out in my mind right now is "Defendant," and I could list several more). Anyway, I rated this drama 9 out of 10 stars and I will watch it again, and with my friends. "Her Private Life" has the perfect ending to me--the entire last episode, which left me with good feelings and satisfied to have watched 16 episodes. It wasn't rushed and didn't leave you feeling like you needed more answers. One last thing--I also thought the background music was very well done. I enjoyed almost all of it, although I didn't care for the lyrics in the main song which kept emphasizing "precious LITTLE girl." Every time I heard it, I kept feeling that it was very condescending to every woman alive. The lead character was not like that at all. They were not singing about a young child! That was the only negative in the entire drama to me. Of course, it could have been the translation, but I kind of doubt it. Anyway, watch it! I think you will really enjoy it. (: Take care!

In the end you come to realize how the death of their child had such a dramatic and strong impact on their lives. You may learn as life goes by that there are no simple explanations for many things. Don't be so quick to judge others.

Pretentious grandmother? I don't know when she arrives in this drama, but all the other players are pretty pretentious as of right now, and I am only half way through the first episode! Sorry, but so far this is about the most boring drama I have started in a long time. I can't imagine that I will be able to handle this attitude to the end.

I don’t know what all the hype is about. I haven’t seen her on a talk show or know anything about her personal life. I just know that so far in the dramas that I have seen her in, I like her. I haven’t seen anything to dislike her. So hang in there Yang Mi—Fighting! and Good luck!

Hi. Thanks for the recommendation--especially for a drama that is historical. I haven't watched Kingdom, but I'm not really into horror/zombies. I even tried to watch a couple of vampire dramas because I liked some of the actors, but it just didn't work for me. I have watched a couple of horror types before--who know I might give it a try if I keep hearing good reviews. Thanks again!

I really enjoyed this drama. The actors were perfect together and the storyline was good. I loved the OST and my next step is to find it on iTunes, hopefully the sheet music also somewhere! I rated this 9.5 instead of 10 only because it was a little slow in the middle (one part of an episode) and some of the scenes were a little dark visually (I personally hate that). Otherwise, I could watch this again. Oh yes, I will also mention that I thought the ending was perfect!

I probably won't watch this. It's surprising that the ratings seem decent, but there are a lot of very negative comments so far.
I also love strong female characters the best! Have you watched "Princess Agents?" I have seen it several times (also with friends). I have anxiously been waiting for the sequel to "Princess Agents II" but I'm seriously worried that it isn't going to happen (:
