I finally got around to watching The Story of Ming Lan and I enjoyed it immensely. Crash Landing Into You was a good watch too. Outside of those two, there's been a few entertaining but forgettable dramas. I really did not expect to still be in this rabbit hole after a year either, but here I am. Glad to be in good company!

Chinese people have clearly infiltrated MDL to make The Untamed the highest rated show and left 300+ reviews along with those high ratings. Clearly, making that sort of effort in this little corner of the Internet that caters to English speaking fans of Asian dramas is an excellent use of resources. That totally. Makes. Sense.

I’m glad you got that all off your chest since it continues to disturb you so very much. I totally spent a whole .0003 nanoseconds reconsidering my view of this drama thanks to what you’ve written. Sadly, I’ve just started a rewatch of the drama (which will likely lead me down the rest of the rabbit hole that includes the donhua, manhua, and OMG there is going to be a Chibi series!??!! *dies of cuteness overload*) and I am still enchanted by all the things. Judge away with all the moral superiority you believe you have. The heart wants what the heart wants. I have no regrets.
Three months. Its been three whole months since I finished watching this drama and I still can't freaking get…
Nobody warned me. I just tripped and fell into the whole MDZS/CQL/The Untamed fandom on accident in July. While I've been able to mimic living a normal life (after a few months of intense MDZS fever which prevented me from even enjoying any new dramas) I am still hopelessly addicted. I've learned to accept it. Tis my lot in life to be a Suibian. Welcome to the Cult-ivation Sect. There is no escape. Mwahahaha!

Netflix tends to simplify subs more than Viki does which is annoying to me at times, but may not bug someone else.
