I've noticed a lot of people don't like Soo-ah, which I kind of get.But honestly? She really isn't all that bad…
I initially disliked Su Ah for dumping Dong Gu so harshly and then shamelessly running back to the guesthouse after getting scammed, but after ep 10, I'm starting to warm up to her. She's rough around the edges, but she does care about the people at the guesthouse. Su Ah stood up for Doo Shik against that jerk meat restaurant owner (this was one of my favorite scenes of her); she gave advice to Dong Gu and made him carefully think about furthering his relationship with Yoon Ah, which means she also cares about Yoon Ah since she doesn't want her to get hurt again. Anyways, I love the depth of Su Ah's character. She's not the most appealing character, but I can't really hate her anymore either. She's flawed like a normal human being is.
i watched ep 1, and it was a 6/10 for me. anyone coyld give me a push to watch more?
Yeah, the show didn't appeal that much to me in the beginning, but I think starting ep 3, the characters started growing on me and I ended up loving the style of comedy. I'd suggest watching a few more eps and seeing if it starts growing on you as well.
I used to find Yoon Ah's clumsiness and endless apologies so annoying to the point where I considered dropping the drama, but for some reason now her character has grown on me and it's really funny seeing what chaos her clumsiness will cause next.
I tried. I tried to finish this, but there are way too many of the cliches that I hate. I guess it's to be expected since this is a "rich guy, poor girl" drama so cliches like jerk chaebols and evil mothers are common. I understand that this show came out a long time ago and it's a bit outdated in terms of the gender roles and power dynamics, but I just couldn't stand it. (Ra Im's depicted as a strong woman, yet she can't shake off Joo Won's hand when he grabs her by the wrist?) Guess I'm just not down for these older dramas. I will admit that I like how romantic Joo Won is to Ra Im, but he almost as much of a jerk to her as he is romantic, so that kinda kills it for me.
LMAO THIS IS SO TRUE My list is full of dramas that I rated highly because I only watch dramas that I find enjoyable and also maintain my interest. Once it gets boring, I drop it like it's hot. However, I know that if I rewatch them, I may end up rating them lower since I don't have that "first time" feeling anymore, which is why I don't rewatch. THE ETERNAL STRUGGLE
I’m on ep 4, I like it but it’s kinda boring honestly. I hope it picks up because these comments are describing…
It does pick up, but it's not very obvious, so it may appear to have picked up only slightly. That's the beauty of it though; its realistic representation of humans and their relationships is one of the best things about the show. Seeing how their relationships develop and work to slowly heal them all is simply wonderful to watch. If you watch a few more eps and still don't feel for it, it's probably not your cup of tea, which is unfortunate since it really is a lovely drama.
I am currently finishing this... and I just have one question: Happy ending yes or no? Not like Uncontrollably…
Yes, it's a happy ending. :) There's a scene that's similar to Uncontrollably Fond in the last episode but rest assured, it doesn't end the way it does in UF. ^^
Kinda left a few plot points loose1.why did gang do live separately from his sis2.what happened to Yoo Jin in…
1. The place where his sister lives is their childhood home. It holds a lot of the memories of when his mother and father were still alive. Gang Doo still misses his parents, so being in that house that contains all those memories of them is too much for him to bear, since he already has to bear the memories of their death and is still coping with it.
2. I'm not entirely sure of this one myself, but this is what I understand from it: She betrayed Joo Won by siding with the company (probably to cover up all the corruption related to the building of the S Mall and its collapse). Joo Won's own father committed suicide because of the guilt from the accident, so in his eyes, seeing his lover support the company that caused the accident hurt him deeply, which resulted in his breaking up with her. Joo Won's mother also married Yoo Jin's father, so they ended up as each other's sibling-in-law, meaning it would be incredibly difficult for them to be a couple again without raising issues of incest even though they aren't blood-related.
3. Same here. Just another one of those things we wish we saw but didn't. :(

Listening to the OSTs just trigger all the emotions again3
