Wow, that was a rollercoaster of emotions. I'm going to miss this show so much; the characters are truly what make the show so great. Thank you to everyone who made this drama possible! You guys produced such a gem :)
I'm on the last ten episodes of this show and I haven't stopped crying all day. I need to stop binge-watching this because my eyes can't take all this crying.
On a lighter note than most of the recent comments, can you guys believe that Kim Kang Hyun (the man who plays Sang Man) is 40?!?! He's so youthful in the show; I thought he was in his early to mid-30s!
I think it's worth it. The story is refreshingly realistic with the way it depicts its characters and their struggles. The main focus of the drama is healing. We can see how the characters slowly heal each other through the relationships they build with one another. I'd say to at least watch the first 4 episodes before deciding whether or not to continue. Hopefully it captures your interest, because it really is a lovely drama. :)
Can someone explain why she was trying to leave at the end of episode of 14. When Gang Doo hugged her and told…
I'm not exactly sure myself, but I don't think she was necessarily mad at him. I think when she saw the old phone, she was reminded of her first love and how she still blames herself for his death. There was also that incident where Gang Doo is almost crushed by the falling debris from the truck he was trying to stop for Moon Soo. She blames herself for his getting hurt, so she's afraid that she'll hurt him even more by staying with him. She knows that Gang Doo is still affected by her first love's death, so she blames herself for making Gang Doo feel trapped by the accident still. When Gang Doo told her he loved her, he was trying to prevent her from leaving him, since he sensed that she might end up avoiding him out of fear that she'll hurt him even more.
No matter how talented she is a kid is just a kid what's so hard about finding an actress who fits the character…
Even though she's legally an adult, she's still within the age range for school dramas, so if she were to be recruited into a drama with characters around her age, it'd most likely be another school drama. Perhaps she wants to expand her horizons and try taking on more adult roles. She's legally an adult, so she's perfectly capable of doing that. I'm not a big fan of the age gap either, but I'm willing to be open-minded about it and give this drama a chance first.
I finally picked this drama back up and finished the last 2 eps. To be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Sure there were some questionable choices made, but I guess that goes to show the complexity of human nature. I thoroughly enjoyed this drama and I'm going to miss it and well as its OST :')
The first 10-15 eps are relatively slow as they're setting the stage for the good stuff, but after that, it goes as quick and wild as a rollercoaster ride. For those who are intimidated by the episode count, give it a try because it's a really wonderful drama.
I'm so excited for the next episode since OUR SHIP IS FINALLY SAILING but I'm also afraid to watch it because I can't bear to see them all in pain again :'(
