Very good article!
And this physical abuse or violence is not only in Asian dramas, also Western series and movies are almost glorifing violence - action movie: main lead who is bad ass fight and kill people, but it's ok, he did it for humanity good. So it seems that regardless of Asian or Western media we see more less same and indeed it bothers me :S
I totally agree to points 1 and 2, tho I still prefer to stick to my fav genres (sageuks) and country (Korea), but sometimes I'm picking up something different (or at least a little bit different) to change the mood / theme :)
And about rewatvching, I also agree - even during watching few final episodes of "Warrior Baek Dong Soo" I already rewatched previous fav scenes to feel emotions again and to cure my fangirling/soon-broken heart :D
I would pay for drama streaming immediately, because it is my hobby and I want to support the actors and writers...but…
I'd love to support drama sites as well and pay for VIP, but again EU here and these sites are blocked for us... Only solution would be some IP chancing programs... >.>
I try to use sites like Viki and Dramafever, but I have the luxury of being able to do so because I'm in US. For…
Yes, problem with these sites are: 1) not so big drama base 2) geographical limitations... I'd gladly pay VIP account, but allow me to watch from EU :(
After the loss of Dramacrazy and D-addicts torrent page, I'm not even surprised anymore.:( While I understand…
We can try using VPNs... I have on my smartphone app for some drama sites and I recently found VPN app for smartphones - worked. Not sure how to unblock them on comp.
And yes, they only have new dramas, I want to watch older dramas as well! :(
I didn't know I'd enjoyed it so much (not really into sport theme), but I wasn't bored even for a moment.
An awesome movie about sportsmen, who were unified thanks to theirs passion, love for sport and dream to give joy and proud to all Korean people. Seeing them being apart due to political situation was really sad... Hope, one day we will be able to say "Korea" without any adjective.
PS. I really like how they sneak in some humorous scenes ;)
I had it not so long time ago on my phone, but recently it stopped working for me - I saw new episodes but then I clicked on them, I saw no video... :/ Dramania used to be on google store but now it's gone.
It is still updated? It is really working for you? Can you help me/us to find working version? ;)
