Revenge for whom

After stellar reviews, jumped to test the waters. Well, this was mediocre revenge story more glamour camera for the FL since her acting is blerg.
Story: death, cheating humans, death, rebirth, angst galore, vexing grandpa, mysterious aide - nothing new in kdrama world.
Acting: FL & ML were muted angst filled humans, providing little development of character for 30+yo, supporting actors offered character & insight. Strongest actor was the SFL who portrayed a deeply troubled mental paragon. This female actor was far more compelling & interesting compared to the FL.
Music: nothing memorable
Overall: watch if you love the FL or SFL. This should have been a 12eps drama. The stretch of 4eps was another example that viewers are given mediocrity so drama overloads can make more $.

The painstaking efforts to develop the 'great' dictionary artistically told through the eyes of various people & the long term relationships required to complete said task. This movie is not for everyone yet everyone should view it to get the behind the scene efforts & time of the few to insure words are defined correctly, those same words we take for granted today each time we query on google or any dictionary - someone had to define, explain, and refine it. The true accent to this movie was the music score - well done & well placed giving the finishing touches for a artistic, well directed movie.

This is an erotic movie for adults! Content, scenes, language are not for those who find erotica disturbing or if you get embarrassed at the sight of flesh, bodily functions and PS. The storyline was not new, what was new, the PS erotica dimension which led to self-discovery and eventually love for both leads. The two best parts of movie: 1) the two leads were PERFECTLY comfortable in their own skin to make this storyline work on camera so delightfully. 2)Liked all the female characters - no whinny girl-children in designer clothes, just women maneuvering life and a little PS between! If you handled 'Forbidden Quest' erotic content or any other erotic-based flicks this might work for you. Would I watch again, Yes, this was an entertaining & fun movie. Just think, your next wrong # might open the door for...

Painfully finished this one trying to give it ample space to improve. The lead actor (same as PSMan) remained uninteresting, childish, and poor acting. The redeeming actor was the second male lead.
Why watch? Not sure - some nice scenery and deals w poachers. Sorry this was just weak and poorly acted. This is my second Tdrama - not a good track record of good drama.

An interesting drama nugget that somehow missed the flash&clapping in 2014. This Jdrama is about two women who age wise are on opposite ends of a pencil YET they both are facing the same career challenges. This drama depicts the untidy, good old boys club of the legal world. These two women are so opposite in style, demeanor,& tactics you might expect nastiness however it's the stark differences is what grows both of them, personally & professionally. This drama is short with neat storyline's and interesting side characters. There is no romance or silliness, just two women making it in the business world and not killing each other over a man or inheritance. For those who love DtrX series, I believe this should be on your PTW list - If you are looking for something that has strong, intelligent females, modern time period, no romance-silliness, give this watch, you might enjoy.

Another stellar Jdrama series I finally notched off... This detective, mystery series is cast with a rock solid actors who weave an intricate storyline of corruption, greed and murder in the police force. The story is about another outlier, intelligent, and aggressive female tasked with the impossible inside the all boys club of the police force. This series is a much see for any who love a mystery, detective, strong-female lead and some laughs along the way. The Jdrama machine is cranking out stellar mystery-detective material to give the Brits a real challenge.

Finally found this movie on my Hulu+ list thus allowing me to ride MS wave with a comparable storyline. This show is far creepier-horror-like than MS in such the most disturbing ghost never leaves but becomes part of their lives, living on their backs in some cases. The lead actress was believable as the odd, off balanced & loner much like Tae while her lead actor reminded me of KW or should I say KW reminded me of him, from the shaky hands at the and trepidation of ghosts-love and whats next. In this movie both leads see dead people, but only one can??? Overall, well done and entertained me as a comparable to the recent MS. Memorable lines paraphrased - 'why are there no love stories in horror? then it would be called melodrama not horror - since ghosts and creepy people can't fall in love.'
This is movie is a melodrama/horror-complete with a PDA in the airport in the final scene, affirming the leads had something but not the electric skin-ship of MSun. Give this a look, perfect for the upcoming Hallows Eve viewing or if you're like me, anytime. Enjoy!

Found this on my netflix recc and very pleased! A solid movie about life long friendships, life's challenges and staying true to self. This music was appropriate and well suited for each segment. For anyone looking for a realistic female adult movie this one is a winner. Thanks to all the subbers for the hardwork - it paid off. Sunny is an excellent movie-btw have some tissues ready for tears while laughing often. Well done.

Bluer than Red

Story: interesting just lacked any depth or good storyline editor.
Acting: FL was the least developed, insipid cryer, and uninteresting character. Other character were mediocre at best.
Music: alright
Overall: started as interesting premise, nice. Evolved into a basket of blue cry rags stretched out 16ep. FL overacted or decided she liked being blue. Over half of drama was unnecessary, reconstituted into 3eps.or simply ended.
Finished only to see if the comments were correct. Yeppers, they’re correct. Like the writers ran out of story but long on $.
RW: please No!

Contrary to...

Story: very immature, silly and just tiresome FL with great martial arts looking for????? No emotion ML.
Acting: just can’t. The one actor as a villain-monkey like was good and had memorable qualities
Music: okay
RW: not ever again
Overall: started and had serious apprehension as to the FL ability to develop. Nope! Sped through the remain eps to say I was generous. Watch at own risk if you like strong women. This impish FL shames them all, sadly. This story felt like a storybook for an child. Thinking the child might even get tired of this story line.

Another Cdrama that hits all the marks. Getting more and more impressed with Cdrama.
Story: not new just modernized saga of 5 girls who transform into women via life's trials, happiness, sadness, MEN and sisterhood. Story focused on female sisterhood that is earned and rewarded by seeing the faults, beauty & loyalty of any relationships. Story was draggy in some eps however character development was spot-on and so-far (S1) no backbiting, hair tearing or betrayal yet lots of misunderstanding!
Acting: Stellar actors of NiF bring the fire in this drama. The men were smouldering & mature. The women were spot-on their character portrayal - thus a casting nirvana. Some characters were irritating as the writer wanted us to feel however the cast & acting was refreshingly well done!
Music: fit the drama, some was cheesy, nothing memorable except the opening music was rather primal and memorable. Well played PD & writer.
RW: maybe before S2 comes to refresh - some scenes were memorable. Not telling which one for me....

Overall, this drama is for a more mature minded viewer since it lacks the silliness factor many long dramas incorporate to extend or capture a younger viewership. If you need something to bridge that NiF gap, give this Cdrama a serious view. Be prepared for laughs, sighs and tears and its all worth it!

<<< Reminder - we all will get older; not all get wiser. >>>
Why did I watch this?
Story: not new however the writing was well done offering a realistic slice of life for folks 40+. Many drama's out there attempting to tackle this subject matter + failing or limping due to overacting, wrong actors, silly writing-story-lines. This one demonstrated the lives of three different women who were not going down life's silly path - simply the path of not comfortable in one's own skin - lack of confidence to the core.
Actors: Women actors were smart, well-matched, and well acted. Male actors perfect for their supportive roles.
Music: one OST had a bit of brain worming effect, overall nothing really special NOR bothersome.
ReWatch: Low, not drama fault.
<ISO- In search of> dramas with characters who are over 40+ who are not taking the silly path or solid acting / compelling story line.

Watched on Netflix (English)- interesting story line where poor wins against rich.- Love wins! This series is steamy and quite explicit for std kdrama but not overly to hide the story. I came to think of these scenes as pepper & salt to the storyline. Many rec I read, noted viewing the original story, then watch this version-sorry believe this version needed NO intro. Best part, story was only 4 ep, so it moved along, see dessert works when eaten first.

This was a quick, relevant and entertaining gem that depicted the clashing workforce of women & men with the backdrop the food.
STORY: not new, except the opening scene creates the catalyst for the 4-5 women who have been tossed, jostled/abused and or harassed band together to open a boutique type restaurant, going up against the odds & good old boy establishment.
ACTING - CAST: Well matched to the characters portrayed. The centerfold lead served as the fulcrum to keeping the others balanced as they attempt to right -side their worth in society and selves. This was the heart of the storyline!
Music: quirky yet catchy
RW: No... too many to catch up on...

Summary - If you are looking for completely subbed, quick 10eps, and light, no romance and not depressing yet a poignant storyline with lots of great looking food, give this drama a try - you'll might enjoy as much as I did.

Found this drama by accident and was pleasantly surprised - especially since the glut of DOCTOR dramas have flooded the screens.
Story: not new a medical drama story-line, oppressive working environments, doctors attempting to have a personal life (men & women), smexy male doctors. This series cross the path of mature subject matter, love and yearning to be better doctors. In some aspects if you like Dtr X1,2,3 you will enjoy this.

Actors: Three key coupling the main couple have serious chemistry, the kind you feel through the screen. All other couples have chemistry, not to the level of couple 1.

Music: semi-memorable and fitting
Rewatch: No - will look for other Jdramas with lead actors. Not a bad drama since there are so many to find.

Have been in search of dramas that are not full of kpop idols, kids learning to act, poor kissers. This Jdrama is a decent watch for those wanting a more mature story-line.
