Is it an olderman/young woman a trend in japan?
In general you'll find a lot of age difference media in Japan. Most are probably old man/young woman but theres some occasional old woman/young man ones too. I think it might be a longterm thing since even older dramas did this sort of stuff.

I never started Mr Sunshine because of the warnings of watchers that its slowpaced/boring but I do see many people loving it as well. So really unsure if I'll ever end up watching that one.
Goblin is just pure nostalgia though as it was one of my first kdramas. I think most people will always have a bias for their first few dramas they enjoyed and I still enjoy rewatching some of the scenes. Didn't watch the rest of the series.

Yeah it is the way it is. To be honest its not like most Western people know more about Japan than just samurai, Oda Nobunaga and ninjas either. If this exact series was done with a reverse theme where samurai and Japanese citizens visited a European bar it'd have tons of inaccuracies as well. Not to mention it would be weird to see Europeans cosplaying as ancient Japanese people xD

They really just tend to use the standard old-time Europe aesthetic with knights, bandits, blacksmiths and princesses because that's something cool and foreign. You can see there was some effort put into it though and I like it for that. The occasional blue contacts and coloured hair shows they do want to have that old German town-vibe (making that assumption based on the names and the language).

It's been a while since I watched this but the ending made me think he values the two robots as good friends and…
True, it really would depend on what the characters identify themselves as and since its China they'd probably never go into that topic. I do agree that Ah Zhai does treat them more like friends at the end but since the love triangle is never really resolved I would assume a poly relationship myself. I also assume this from the way the girl robot still clings to the guy robot at the end, usually older friends from different genders who are sexually compatible wouldn't be that close as just friends. Of course they are robots but they are very human-like. As for Ah Zhai, in my view he's either in a poly-relationship or just a third wheel of the robots relationship. I'm not sure the guy robot would do that to Ah Zhai though.
Its definitely not sexual though from what we see and I agree with that 100%. Anyway I agree that all possibilities are open.

I love the dynamic of the group but the female lead alone with Feng Cheng Jun
is kinda boring to me at this point. Its all about becoming government officials together and friendzoning each other every time. I guess I just miss seeing some more emotions on ML and the philosophical talks don't really get to me.
Meanwhile I love Lei Ze Xin and Yu Le Xuan for their own storylines and morals. I think they carry their scenes extremely well. Probably just my own preference.

End of episode 7 has a really cool female character at the end of the episode and if she were in Game of Thrones for example I can already tell she would've been my favourite character.

Anyway, from the use of the rapier sword I'm going to guess this is supposed to be 16th-17th century Europe and specifically Germany (the text they use). Hope that the cooks business will survive when another disease hits town. In real life what the cook is doing would be a little messed up considering he could be out saving lives with modern medical knowledge but luckily this is a drama. Don't get me wrong though, good food is important as well.
Also, no guys showing off their calves? No flamboyant military clothing? This isn't the historical Europe I know xD

I was amused to see the 18th century hair styles in episode 3. Well, Western, right? King Louis XIV in the Crusades.…
Yeah I think you just gotta watch this series while keeping in mind that they mostly use the Japanese RolePlaying game view of medieval Europe. I would say its sorta like the Fire Emblem games characters except no fantasy stuff.
Don't get me wrong, that won't stop me from commenting on the historical inaccuracies either because I like history xD

It's been a while since I watched this but the ending made me think he values the two robots as good friends and…
Y'know, it's complicated but I still think it's a poly-relationship considering the feelings they had and the actions they've done. In a poly-relationship not all involved persons have to love each other. The set up of the story was that male lead loves female robot, female robot loves male robot and male robot loved male lead.

They are clearly more than just friends and also don't have a family-dynamic like brother/sister or parent/child (a family-dynamic would make what happened in certain episodes very creepy). I don't think the feelings they had for their respective loves ever disappeared. If I saw three people who weren't family living together like the characters do in this drama I would probably assume they were polyamorous after a while.
However, it is open for interpretation of course since they don't show much of their life at the end. Considering the amount of things they've done to win each others love I still see it as a poly-relationship.

That Bowser (from Mario games) laugh at the beginning though.
Really recommend people to watch this, not particularly for the romance (although it is cute in some parts) but for the comedy. I think the rating is a bit low because you really don't want to focus on the romance here as a viewer.
Basically a scammer guy tries to earn money for his wedding but ends up getting a gay guy he tried to scam killed. The scammer gets possessed during his wedding and a priest has to try and exorcise him while also confronting his own demons.

I definitely felt the effect of dragging with some lakorns but still lakorns can have very interesting stories to tell. And yeah the Popcorn-struggle is real, have dealt with that one recently. I started out with Thai series but also like watching lakorns and have done so for a while now, discovered them thanks to following some tags.

Seems like a very interesting plot, looking into human identity and all that. I hope they handle it well.

Well, if I ever can watch this movie somewhere I will because it has Jun Ho in it. Its from Japan though so I don't have high expectations of seeing a Eng sub anytime soon.

It was fun but a bit too much filler in my opinion. Lots of comedic scenes and slow romance. I personally watched it to see the misunderstandings resolved and for the comedy. Romance of the first couple turned out pretty wholesome though, wasn't as big of a fan of the second couple but it was ok.
