It felt like they were leaving the door open for Squid Games in different countries. Three seasons had already watered down the storytelling although I would argue 2 and 3 were the same season. I’m hoping they let it end here. But if someone thinks there is a buck to be made there might still end up being different versions or movies.
I’m not sure what people were expecting. I thought the ending stayed true to S1 and their world building. This is not a genre I’m a big fan of though I’ve seen movies going back to the 80’s with similar tropes.
Noem has pitched the idea of having immigrants compete in a reality show for citizenship. I hope she hasn’t watched Squid Games, she doesn’t need any more inhumane ideas.

I love learning about other cultures and cuisines. I’m pretty easy to entertain. It’s easier to watch international films and television shows now. Used to if it wasn’t available at Blockbuster you were out of luck. Then streaming came along and opened up a whole new world!

There is no cooking like mama’s cooking regardless of country. ❤️ Much of the cooking segments dealt with the history of Filipino cooking and how it’s been adapted to various impacts on their society. How sauces and dips are made with local ingredients. I’m always interested in how people cook and use what they have.

The jailing and torturing of the doctors and professors were short-sighted at best. Youthful enthusiasm and political idealism are not terribly practical at stopping loss of blood or curing diseases. It took a special tenacity for this family to make the decision "to live" in the face of so much tragedy and heartache.

I thought without the cliffhangers S1 was complete. S3’s ending didn’t really add anything to it.
You would need to watch S2 to understand the new players that continued into S3. There was also something that occurred that had ramifications in S3.
