I think opposite at your opinnion. It may have fallen into some clichés, but in scenes where a worn-out resource…
MisatoKatsuragi -- I don't worry about spoilers, I quite like them and you had the hide spoiler button clicked anyway. No harm no foul.

I've watched WAAY too many Kdramas, but honestly they're so much better than stuff we have here in the UK (though a Discovery of Witches has been good) which ALWAYS end up down the soap opera path in the end.

But I will indeed think of you when I get to the final episode. :)

Well, that's at least made my suffering worthwhile - it's why I wrote the review in the first place. I NEVER wanted…
I had a blog for a while back when I thought what I thought was interesting - actually it was just mental. Maybe I will - have one post a day that says something like - "a prawn's heart is in it's head" or something....lol! You'd be one more follower than I have right now!

This made me laugh - thank you. I still can't watch Boys over Flowers because I become a rage filled monster wanting to find a shovel to deal with Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di. I want Joo Ji Hoon to find love with someone else because Jan Di doesn't deserve him.....see, this is why I can't ever watch it again! XD

I understand your opinion. But for me, if I was to put into account every drama that has many cliche moments,…
TaemonRebel -- Thank you for the article; I think it's succinct and to the point for what is a very good, entertaining and engaging drama with (for once) lovable leads and NO Second Lead Syndrome (at least for me). I was SO happy to see a male lead that was also a chaebol that was NOT a total jerk and arrogant nightmare who still got the girl....one cliche that does drive me to insane levels of rage. :)

MisatoKatsuragi -- I have to say I completely agree with you. I've found Devilish Joy really enjoyable and not full of the usual tropes to the point where I want to rip my hair from head. Sure there are some cliches but the ones that would normally have me hurling abuse at my laptop because the resolution is obvious but not taken, don't follow that path here. A cliche often happens and finds instead the proper resolution we also see. Others may not, but they're not the obvious ones that usually drive viewers to the point of foaming rage and bad language.

I admit I haven't finished it yet, but I'm not expecting it to disappoint me. Though your description of a musical final episode does fill me with a little concern. lol!

Kim Yung Ok's Liftime Achievement Award was well deserved - but the rest of them is a bit 'm'eh'......I only really watched Secretary Kim out of all these......

You won't be saying that when I tell you no one can lick their own elbow (and on hearing that everyone immediately tries...I've had a whole hospital ward, including doctors and nurses, trying before now)..... (´∀`)

LOL, no problem! If I can save someone else wasting time they won't get back watching rubbish, then it's fine. I suffer any others I'll be sure to let you know. I also have noticed no one ever tells us about the crappy ones to avoid!

(yeah this site doesn't like emojis......I usually use kaomojis!

I was planning on watching it, but seeing your review, may be I wont. I dont have time for such epic disappointments
Well, that's at least made my suffering worthwhile - it's why I wrote the review in the first place. I NEVER wanted someone to suffer as I did. As a thank you I will give you another title to avoid like the plague itself ---- Song of Cotton. It makes this one look like an oscar contender.

https://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x63o2fI subbed it. ;)
THANK YOU for subbing it. I love to be able to thank subbers like yourself because you NEVER get enough credit (or thanks) for all you do for those of us who don't speak the languages of our favourite dramas.

I genuinely appreciate all your hard work. Arigatou gozaimashita! (I hope I got that right.)

It's Godt.....I'm glad he's still acting but so sad he won't be in 2 Moons 2...... Really looking forward to this - it's looks good. (and yes, I know it's similar to 'Are you Human Too?' and 'I'm Not a Robot' but let's just enjoy it.

I just hope this is as good as The Guest....I'm currently stockpiling episodes so I can binge them on Halloween. lol! (plus they scare the hell out of me, so I hope I can watch them whilst my husband is still awake rather than later at night - he's asleep, my daughter's asleep and I'm the only alone watching a scary drama and trying not to jump! XD

Completely agree - he's such a good actor. Have you seen Bangkok Traffic Love Story? He was EXCELLENT in that.…
Ah yeah, I didn't like NNS either. He was really good in it, but she was pretty dire.

Why does Ken do so few dramas!!! Grrr
Completely agree - he's such a good actor. Have you seen Bangkok Traffic Love Story? He was EXCELLENT in that. But my overall favourite of all of them I've seen, and I've seen most of his work, is Ra Rerng Fai. :)

Well, in the young wife's shoes I would drug him to keep him still whilst I made sure he 'lost' a certain part of his anatomy and then send him off to his mistress whilst filming it; before loading it on ALL social media platforms, so the WORLD knows what cheaters they both are.

But, knowing Lakorns that probably won't happen......sadly.
