So sad to hear this - the East Asian entertainment industry, whether music or acting, MUST start reviewing their tactics because another innocent soul just could not keep up. Just so sad to hear this...... my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fans at this sad and terrible time.

Usually, so long as you don't see the person die, then that's an excuse for them to be brought back. But if he is definitely dead, then at least Jang Hyuk should return. I haven't seen the last episode yet - I've been saving it.....

I must admit that's why I always watch all the variations on a drama each time it's done. She Was Pretty, Kimi wa Petto and of course InK were some I've done this with. Like you I like to see the different takes on dramas due to cultural differences. As you say we can experience the globe's tv without having to be in that country and for someone like me, who loves to see other cultures but can't afford to travel, it's BRILLIANT. :)

Yup, completely agree. Without the leads (or at least the second lead and first lead as a fallback) then I have to bail.....

I can't give it a 10 because Cha Yoo Jin is just such an evil moron that I wanted to kill him SO often......I would LITERALLY have just looked for a shovel if I'd been Seoul.....What's more is, unlike Irie Naoki in Mischievous Kiss, Yoo Jin has NOT got Asperger's - he's just horrible. So it got a 9 from me.

I always watch the first episode - even if I want to wait and binge it, I always watch the first one to see if I'm going to like it. If not I don't bother with it again.

Agreed, totally. My aunt and uncle were VERY happy. I've seen other couples, some with the woman being that much and more older, who are blissfully happy. It's up to the individual.

I'd forgotten the Korean dramas had the dreaded lip bump too.....I really don't get why - I mean if they're close enough to want to kiss, then make it a KISS. I mean sure SOME instances it's meant to be 'accidental' (though the contortions they have to go through would make a gymnastic flinch) but yeah lip bumps there are sort of okay.

But the real romance moments, some are heart rending/passionate too and then they just bump lips.....I understand about skinship, but surely if they're going to lip bump then they're at the kissing stage too?!! Ok I am now stepping away from my soapbox! XD

It could just be no one's uploaded it anywhere even raw yet, though usually they appear on youtube pretty quickly. But no problem - if I hear anything or see it pop up, I'll let you know. :)

This is a beautiful, touching......SOB fest - go in with plenty of water and chocolate......you WILL need it....AND a crate of tissues! I sat through the 2004 version, not sure I could do it again. I had a headache I cried so much....

I just don't think the new one will have the same chemistry. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. These three actors just worked so well together - you really BELIEVED the story.
