I think trying to accumulate good kharma for your future self, especially when it will be you benefitting, is not going to work as it's clearly not selfless. ....unless her soul now stays in her past self, which makes me wonder what happens to her body in the present day....and now I have a headache because time paradoxes, even with apparently mobile souls, ALWAYS do that......T-T
Yes it is and I cried a river of tears - I went through almost a whole box of tissues and two bars of chocolate…
No problem - I recall being surrounded by soggy tissues and still crying....my husband came home from work and asked in alarm "who died?!" So yeah, not high on my rewatch list - my Irish granddad said tearjerkers were good if you "wanted to wash your eyeballs", but there's just too many out there now. lol!
I would just love a shaver that didn't make look like I'd fought with Rurouni Kenshin for an hour.......and lost. The blades are either too sharp or too blunt, there's never any damn mid-ground! ????
Is this drama based off the book "Flowers for Algernon?" Like the one I read in Highschool ages ago…
Yes it is and I cried a river of tears - I went through almost a whole box of tissues and two bars of chocolate by the end. The only drama that made me cry more was Grey Rainbow.
Anyone know how many episodes this will be because I'd rather TRY and wait for it to finish and then binge it - but if it's a lot I'll just dive in now.....lol!
lol replying to myself as a spoiler, but I'm halfway through s2 now and I think I *am* wrong, which is a really…
Thanks Kitty - I can't find s2 and I thought I would succumb to SLS again too when I finally tracked it down. Your heads up makes me happy as I was rooting for YL all along.
I sort of do anyway, as does my daughter - we wear guys clothing because, basically we like roomy, baggy clothes. They're just more comfortable, plus for us - because we like skulls, wolves, DC and Marvel stuff - we find more styles that we like. We've never liked tight and/or revealing clothing (even 'skinny fit' is out of our comfort zone) and prefer flat shoes and boots (so converses, etc are our go-to footwear anyway).
However, obviously we wear women's underwear and, though, no make up and stuff too often, we do have our hair longer than most of the 'oppas'. Mine is shoulder length and my daughter can sit on hers. When we go out it's 'suited and booted' all the way - though a little make up is nice.
Even though family and friends have bought me dresses and skirts over the years (and I still own some of them!) the last time I wore dress/skirt was my wedding day. My daughter said she'll probably be the same - after all, sometimes traditional is just the way we roll. lol! The dresses she also owns are, quite literally, gathering dust in the back of her wardrobe.
So some of us are not 'gender benders', trans, bi or anything else - we're just...........different and that's what I love about all of us who dare to be true to ourselves without the need to be labelled!
Thanks for your comments b/c this is *exactly* what I wanted to hear. Purely through coincidence I recently finished…
I know - so many BL stories do a 'fan service' which just irritates me if the country (ie China) openly discriminates against their LGBT community. I don't care whether the actors are gay or straight - just let them tell the truth; even if they're gay and together. So for me I tend to take a lot of the 'couple' stuff that appears with a pinch of salt.....but the chemistry in the drama is definitely MORE than 'bromance'.
I read between the lines for the Chinese stuff too - I get it though; 'bromance' is the only way to get the 'happy ending' and not the Armageddon the censors usually insist on. Though it is a bit silly when, like Advance Bravely and Beloved Enemy, it's CLEARLY been BL (even straying into Yaoi with BE) and then the ending is all "we such close friends and brothers!" :D
