I voted 'Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu' as often as it came up in different sections because it was so good. Likewise I voted for Saito Takumi because he's such an under-rated and under-used actor.
I think it's cheating to put 'Miracle Man' in the 'Family Drama' vote TWICE - it's under it's English name ('Miracle Man') AND it's Japanese name ('Kiseki no Hito').
I LOVE Jung Kyung Ho and usually watch the dramas he makes (though my favourite was 'Falling for Innocence') - BUT if this is the Korean version of 'LOST' I am dropping it faster than I drop broccoli! I wasted 6 YEARS watching that cop-out waiting for the ending we were promised that NEVER happened....I have TRUST issues because of LOST damn it! ;)
ANYTHING with Ji Sung in I automatically watch - he is such a BRILLIANT actor that I refuse to miss ANYTHING, even if he was just reading a phone book. lol! I STILL root for Shin Se-gi EVERY time I watch 'Kill Me, Heal Me'.
I think what we need to accept though is even immortals need love and yet there's not many other immortals around, so what to do? Remain alone for eternity or fall in love with a mortal? Personally I'd choose love every time.....
I'm up for it - I've watched ALL the versions so far, including the anime, and I've read the manga. I can't stop now - even the worst one, the current Taiwanese reboot, I'm slowly wading through wincing as I go. THIS reboot has got to be better than that one!
Does he die in the end? I ask because the description says 'after a successful surgery' - but I've been caught like that before.....I rwally need a break from sad endings, so a heads up on if this is a sad ending movie would be genuinely appreciated....
There's about three different people translating it at the moment on Wattpad - I'd recommend Anne Noh's overall as she really explains things as she translates if she can't find an equivalent English word.
I'll give the same advice here that I did on the Korean poll - You can seem to pick two - so be heartless and remember which ones you sobbed at (and how many boxes of tissues, bottles of water and blocks of chocolate were consumed), which ones you laughed until you cried at (and obviously ALL in the RIGHT places), remember which ones you've watched over and over and over........then....HAVE AT THOSE TICK BOXES!

Okay so I've watched the first four episodes now and I have to admit this new Taiwanese version is horrible…
I agree with everything you've said about this reboot of the Taiwanese version - BUT for me the Thai one was actually my second overall favourite (the original Taiwanese version being first mainly because of season 2).
I liked that the Thai story was slightly different in that the second lead was a GENUINE threat to TenTen for Taliw and that, although they followed the giste of the original story, it was clear TenTen had feelings for Taliw from the get-go and his actions were based around his struggle to accept what his heart WANTED and what his head was telling him he SHOULD want. I'm certainly looking forward to the second Thai series - but we all have our own favourites of this wonderful story and that's what I've loved about the franchise......until now.
I think what's really crucified this version is the story has been badly written AND the actors are all rubbish (with the exception of the actor portraying Ah Jin). In the Korean version the story is still awful, BUT the actors were REALLY good - hence we now have them losing the 'worst adaptation of ItaKiss' title so early on.
However, it seems that we fans can rest easy that the classics - the Japanese and Taiwanese (original) versions - will clearly NEVER be bettered; and the 'new kids on the block' - the Thai and Korean versions - will now NEVER fall to the bottom. For me the list of preference goes (with 1 being the best and 5 the worst) - 1. Taiwanese version; 2. Thai version; 3. Japanese version; 4. Korean version (which seems almost sweet and loving in comparison to this new one!) and 5. (Reboot) Taiwanese version.......
However, as a long time fan of these franchise (read mangas and watched anime too; as I'm sure most of us have). I do feel somewhat betrayed by the makers of this reboot because, as you so rightly said, they've just made it obvious they're there to exploit we fans and our love for this franchise and NOTHING more. }:'(
Finished the first 3 eps and hmm... First impression, not sure if this adaption will bring anything new to the…
The male lead already seems to have 'phoned in' his own role as he comes across as just UTTERLY BORED. Why take the role if you really didn't want it that much? It's just a kick in teeth of the fans who genuinely love it. Even the Korean ACTORS did the best with THEIR version, even though the writing was HORRIBLE.
