There's a guy in Love Sick who's surname is 'Adultkittiporn'........I will leave you to digest that. ;) (apparently a Thai friend said that many of them hate their Thai names and that's why they have another single name they use like Captain or Karn.....)

Likewise - I LOVED 'Falling for Innocence' so much I bought the dvd. It was nowhere near that long, but hopefully the makers of this drama won't let it drag too much.

I know - some people really went to extremes, it was utterly nuts; I read on the net that one of the writer's was accosted on the street by a fan and was spat at. I mean sure. I was mad too, like I said I ranted to both my tv AND my family after the last episode and it's made me VERY wary of dramas these days, but to go that far is ridiculous. It's a TV SHOW not a war on children for God's sake!

But some people get way too invested in dramas - they hate the bad guys and shout insults at the actors if they see them in the street; I read about one old lady that, on seeing an actress at the opening of a movie with her ACTUAL husband, accused her of 'cheating' on her tv show 'husband'.....daft, but that's how some people are. To be honest I find that level of fan love very creepy. I might laugh and cry with a drama; love the characters, etc - but I'd NEVER go that far.

I must admit though that the whole 'LOST' debacle is one of the (many) reasons I prefer Asian dramas is because, aside from the few 'open ended' dramas and movies, most have a plot they follow and/or a story arc that is thought out at the beginning of a drama. :)

Oh they were angry alright - I just ranted to my tv and family for a while, but others sent hate mail to the writers, death threats, they were even verbally abused in the street......lol! But they had promised that if people stuck with it they would tie everything up in the end and everything would make sense - they lied. So people's rage, having given six years of their viewing life to 'LOST', was kind of understandable - even if a few did go a teensy bit bonkers. ;)

This sounds incredibly similar to the Taiwanese drama 'Murphy's Law of Love '.......

Agreed - Master Kim is hotness personified especially when he's Angry Master Kim and whaling on someone nasty like the doctor who really killed the patient. Actually his dramas are pretty good on the whole - but this is his best so far. :)

Wu Vanness made me hitch my wagon to this pony and say 'giddy-up'!! Last saw him in 'Autumn Concerto' and he was really good in it - even though the main characters (including his) were so annoying I truly want to punch them in the face.......with a brick....many times. ;)

I think that Kim Jae Wook is a truly gifted actor and he'd be good in evil roles; but, for me at least, I would LOVE to see him play the romantic lead - I think he would completely blow us away. I wouldn't mind a dark romance where he is perhaps an anti-hero type or a romantic comedy. Having seen him and his excellent comic timing in 'Antique Bakery' I think he could totally steal the show in a romantic comedy.

@Haru ---- Thank you thank you! But it's so true - I think 'oooh, he's so CUTE...oh he's 27....oooh what about him? oh, he's 30.....this one? Oh, he 29...." So then I'm all " nope nope nope nope!!" I mean there's being a cougar then there's being a straight up Jaguar!! I think I'm blessed if they hit 37!! XD So Master Kim is my safe place to lust........ ;)

I'm thrilled - FINALLY a main male character I can lust over without feeling like I'm robbing a cradle!! XD XD

It may well be subbed once subbers see how well 'When a Snail Falls......' is being received....well, that's what I'm hoping anyway. lol!

Yup, if I ever suddenly inherit billions I am so bringing Dominion back! XD

As to the subbed version of the third novel - like you I'm waiting and hoping it happens. The current two adaptations are just so good I can't imagine the third being awful. As for the books - try Wattpad - translated versions of most Chinese novels are on there.

Oh I hear you on the cancellation. I used to ADORE 'Dominion' - cancelled. 'Almost Human' - cancelled. a myriad of others too.

I understand what you mean about Taiwan and China. I prefer Taiwanese to Chinese. I find the Chinese dramas VERY pro-Chinese authorities; whereas Taiwan, Korea and Japan are a lot more free about the overall structure and interaction with government agencies. However I did like 'Love me if you Dare' and 'When a Snail falls in Love' - both from China. I agree about 'When a Snail Falls...'; 'Love Me if You Dare' is from the same writer (he wrote three novels in all) and the same studio and scriptwriters have done both adaptations. I'm like you and prefer romance in dramas - but with 'When a Snail Falls...' (and 'Love Me....') it is there, but, as you say, very much secondary to the main story. They're both so good for that - the mysteries really draw you in. :)

Oh agreed - I rarely watch much tv in my own country (UK) now. I watch 'Humans', 'Killjoys', 'Dr Who', 'Librarians' and 'The Strain' - that's it. Everything else is online and Asian and East Asian. I predominantly like Korean and Japanese dramas/movies the most. I also like the Taiwanese and Thai, but I'm leaning away from Chinese stuff as apart from 'Cruel Romance' it's mostly sad endings for BL dramas; and a few happy ones would be better.

Not only that I think really that Kdramas and in fact most East Asian and Asian dramas have much better writers than LOST did. It was two guys writing as they went with no real end in mind. Yup, you dodged a bullet with that show that's for sure! lol! Nice that this will have romance as it's main plot or at least a main plot point. Thanks for the info. :D

I watched it recently and was so surprised at how different he was in the role - especially when you see a lot of the BTS of 'Falling for Innocence', he's so funny and goofy. But in Cruel City he was really hardcore...and HOT. Oh I've also seen him in a horror film called 'Manhole' on Netflix UK - dear God he scared me to death in that. He's certainly versatile as an actor. :)
