Nagase is one of those actors, who are pleasant to watch. I don't get tired watching him, to think that I am easily turned off by some of my fav actors( for example Yang Geun Seuk or Lee Min Hoo......why I'm not into them anymore, even I don't know.)
I watched Yan Papa and I think he did a great work even in that mediocre drama.
As you mentioned in your article, he knows his limits and thus takes on the roles fitting to him.
Some of his drama are just built on his cuteness and the chemistry with the female lead, but still you can't get enough of him.

SMAPxSMAP was a great show and I love how they treat their guests.
Though I started watching KimuTaku with his awesome and priceless drama PRICELESS, I was already a fan of Shingo and Kusanagi-san.
