So far, so good. This drama is phenomenal and I finished the first 4 episodes in one sitting. If I could describe this drama in one sentence, it would be, "A Tim Burton K-drama collaboration" with not only the drawings being very Tim Burton-esque, but the overall feeling of the drama as well. The drama is dark, but still light-hearted and is not your typical rich boy falls in love with poor girl story. The female lead is strong, but still has her flaws and the male lead portrays himself strong but also has his own flaws. I love the addition in storytelling of psychiatry and psychiatric patients. Everything from the storytelling, the title sequences, script, scene transitions, etc., so far have been on point, and I so far don't or can't see any flaws in the drama. As of 4 episodes, there is tension between our two leading characters, but no telling yet of any romance. This could definitely be the next top Netflix K-drama hit, if not the next top K-drama. Netflix is killing it recently with their releases.
Usually almost all of Filipino Drama is very long.
I mean, they're definitly not as long as Indian dramas, but they are pretty long if you're used to only watching East Asian dramas that only last about 20 episodes or so max. I understand that Pinoy dramas are very long, but the plot was just dragged out too long afterwards that it just kept circling back around. I'm fine with it being long if it's justified, but this was not.
I hope they don't choose a too beautiful actress after all she should TRANSFORM not just look same with or without…
I wholeheartedly agree, unless they're going to do some hardcore makeup effects to make her look "ugly". At the very least, I hope they don't do what Phillipines movie Diary ng Panget did and just give her red spots for acne. But even then, it's still obvious the actress is pretty underneath the makeup because sometimes you just can't hide beautiful features in my opinion. But then again, if they get an "ugly" talented girl, they'd have to do work to make her "pretty". So I guess, there's no in-between unless you get an average looking girl.
Wait, are those new pics official press conference pics or just rumored actors/fan casting?
Seems to me that most of those are fan casting choices. As it seems we only have here listed Cha Eunwoo as Suho for now and nobody else is actually listed.
For anyone curious as to why Tokui is visibly absent from the panel for part 3, he is taking time to reflect due to him not reporting income tax for 2019 because of some side business he had. Though it was not intentional, he is taking time to reflect and therefore not appearing on any programs for now. No word on when he will be back, especially due to the COVID-19 issue.
Ok, I said that, but next ep's preview (ep10) is about the Nth Room - trigger warning for all those who will watch.Pls…
I personally think Nth Room case makes sense to talk about considering sex and relationships and, of course, grooming and consent. It's really important to talk about, especially in a country like South Korea that doesn't have strict laws for sexual predators and digital sex crimes.
Wow, this would have made my post a lot easier if I saw this first LMAO. Anyways, I made a post w/ everyone's…
I don't think Joakim. and Saad (who is a temporary member) have social media. I have tried as well for Joakim. Some people just prefer to stay off social media.
As a finnish person same for me when I react to what Julia is saying :D for example, most of the "sauna traditions"…
I think it's kinda odd that they got a bi-racial South African but got a Caucasian American to represent America. Not that he's not right, the guy does a lot of research and is overall funny. The current cast is great and they bring a lot of different perspectives to the table.

I also wanted to come to that conclusion as well. Personally, to me, Mormons and other extreme religions have a whole nother and see things differently. But then again, we view things differently. ??♀️
Eh, not really. The South African guy and the Colombian guy look pretty tan to me. Especially considering East…
If you weren't paying attention, he himself revealed that he is a biracial South African. I think you're forgetting whites and blacks live in South Africa. Not to mention, we have no control over how much melanin he gets from his genes. Personally, I think him being a biracial South African is a perfect fit for him to represent both sides of the conversation.
And wow the format is so similar too. I've missed Abnormal Summit so damn much so I'm glad this at least is similar
The reason I said MNC was because they do talk about couples and they did have quite a few share of foreigners who married Koreans and vice versa on the show.

My Neighbor Charles was a show that focused on international citizens living long term in Korea and focusing on their daily lives and struggles. The show also had it's fair share of Korean national and foreigner couples and families as well as families that were straight up foreigners and other types of foreigner families. It's a great show, with full clips on YouTube, but I don't know if it's still currently airing new episodes.
Angelina is also a singer and has a YouTube channel. She posts vlogs and song covers and has an original song performed in Korean and English.
