So glad that Kimi Wa Petto made the list as it's one of my favorite jdramas still. I was pleasantly surprised how well they remade it too. Both drama versions are very watchable though 2003 is my personal favorite. MatsuJun owed that role, imo.

I think it's adorably nerdy how he googles, well baidus, everything. He could definitely be on this list. I liked how he was very smart and confident in his abilities but not arrogant about it. She often took the lead in their relationship, but he just rolled with it.

My Netflix only shows 32 episodes as well with each episode approx 44 to 45 minutes long. So either the YT & Viki versions have more filler in terms of recaps or the NF version has cut out quite a bit.

Viki has the license for this show. At least in the US.

18 and 17 which usually means no smooches in these type of Asian drama. Probably for the best anyway given the fact that this is the lead actor's first drama so that type of scene would probably be super awkward anyway.

The editing in C dramas it's still so bad sometimes. It can make it really confusing to follow what's going on.

That would make sense. That's the one thing I miss about watching on Netflix. No viewer or subber comments to explain cultural things.

Favorite things about 20 and a question. I liked the story with the grandmother and how they all worked together in the end to create that model home. Also appreciated the advice from the flighty fashion design teacher about Miao Miao following her own dreams and not just revolving her life around a guy. I'm glad she finally decided to change her major. Now for the question. Why did You Nian react that way when Miao Miao asked him if he liked vinegar? What meaning does it have in Chinese that I don't know about.?

Thoughts on 17-18. Though Kai Tuo and He Xin still don't really interest me, I'm glad Kai Tuo finally told her up front he doesn't like her that way. At least the drama threw in the childhood memory scene to give their relationship a little more depth. Seeing how close they were in the past makes He Xin's attachment more understandable though I still wish she'd just move on. I'm also glad the issue with Miao Miao thinking You Nian and his classmate were together was resolved. All that moping was getting tiresome.

Or maybe not all all given the age of the actors.

I rewatch scenes fron Boss and Me whenever I need a pick me up. While the side characters are boring and skippable, the main romance and the lead up to it is adorable.

Really. It said 45 on this page for months, but now it's changed. I'm surprised they spent so much time on the first half of the story if they were going to end it at 32. Did they cut it or has it always been 32

I'm reading through the comments, and some people are saying this ends with 32 episodes? I thought it had 45. Anyone know about this?

All cdramas should have spoiler warnings before the beginning or ending credits. I've learned to never watch them unless I want the whole storyline in 2 minutes.

I might be alone in this, but I have almost zero interest in the secondary couple's storyline. I wish they had spent a little more time explaining the backstory between He Xin and Lin Kai Tuo. Without context to understand why He Xin is so interested in Kai Tuo, she just comes across as someone pointlessly clinging to a guy who has made it more than clear he's not into her, and I can't understand why she likes him so much since he's always treats her with contempt. That fstfrd button comes in handy whenever they're onscreen together.

Hey, Liang You Nian if Miao Miao is someone you only see as a little sister, what's with the little displays of jealousy whenever you see her and Lin Kai Tao together? Will the real You Nian please stand up. LOL

At least they're both still alive and together for the moment, which is better than most historical cdrama endings. LOL
