This drama is going to _kill me_ first episode and I'm already dead. I think this one is gonna be a little bit more action ninja-y political than the Chinese one, and that's fine by me. I'm impressed with IU, gotta say. She reminds me a lot of the original main. EVERY ONE IS SO PRETTY TOO. I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

This drama is crapping all over my emotions. In a good way.

Also, Lee Jong Suk is so freaking beautiful. If I were HHJ's character I'd literally ditch everything and just live a happy cute life with him for the rest of time. Not even joking.

Just to avoid confusion for some people- this is currently on Netflix, and has more episodes than the 24 it lists here. The episodes are shorter than an hour and a half, however.

I've seen Im Joo Hwan in quite a few things before now, but this is the first time that I'm actually really digging him.

I have a feeling that if you've never seen the Japanese one, you'd think this is great. But for anybody who HAS seen the Japanese version, and loved it for all it's craziness, this one is really rather lack-luster. The biggest shame is that this one is rated higher than that one, which leads me to believe that there's a general disparity between the standards of each respective dramas' audiences...

I didn't think Heirs was unwatchable- it was just INCREDIBLY boring. BoF was a unique case in which it's ridiculously cringey nowadays, but for somebody who's an OG drama watcher, it holds a special place in my heart. I remember how much I loved Hana Yori Dango and a lot of that passion still lingers.

Now- for dramas that were painful for me to watch? Honestly, I'm a nice person when it comes to dramas- I never stop watching because they're bad, I just lose interest really easily. But these two dramas were trainwrecks, absolutely horrible. I dreaded every episode. (yet interestingly enough, I watched both of them all the way through)

Thousandth Man- EASILY the most atrocious drama I've ever seen, ever. It wasn't the fault of the cast though, or the main story idea. It was the execution. For the first time I saw what a drama could be like without a technical crew/writers/editors that knew what in the seven hells they were doing. Every questionable choice, every awkward transition, every energetic music choice over what should be a tragic scene, and vice versa... It was horrible. The word trainwreck has never fit a drama better.

Kill Me, Heal Me- I will fight to the death to defend my opinion of this drama. It's trash. Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum had fire-hot chemistry and stellar acting in their previous project, Secret, but this drama demolished any residual positive feelings I had about that drama with the absolute nonsensical bore of this drama. It's an aspect of the drama genre, that kind of portrayal of mental illness, I know. But when Hyde, Jekyll, and I was airing at the exact same time and had such a better realistic character with a mental illness, it really put KMHM in to perspective. Also, if I ever have to hear Hwang Jung Eum over-act again, I'm going to set myself on fire.

Based on how much I adore Hana Kimi, and how much I DON'T adore Minho, it's definitely for the best that I've never watched To The Beautiful You. It'd probably induce a fair amount of rage in me. (One of the best things about the original story is the humour- Korean shows rarely do comedic tones well in comparison to Japanese dramas)

If this was all-encompassing dramas, rather than just kdramas, I'd have to include Lee Hong Ki's Muscle Girl. Lol. Such a horrible drama. Marathoned all 10 episodes and had the time of my life, make no mistake about it, but it was baddddd.

Personally I would add to the list : Birth of a Beauty and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho those are the worse drama…
I'll agree that Birth of a Beauty wasn't great- the concept was really interesting but the episodes just dragged on horrendously around the middle, so it's probably for the best you dropped it there. But I'd say that My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is really a good one. Someday you should give it another chance, when you've lost any residual bad feelings for it. Go in with a fresh state of mind.

The amount of excitement I have for this... holy shit, it makes me want to vomit. Lee Jun Ki is the epitome of perfection, in what will probably be my favourite role of his since Iljimae. I just hope the rest of the cast does a good job. If it is even half as good as the original, it will be one of my personal top K-dramas.

Can't believe this drama is 10 years old. One of the very first I ever watched. The nostalgia for it is incredible. I highly recommend this drama if you just want something to melt every inch of your soul into an ooey gooey pure cinnamon roll

Does anyone know any dramas that are paced similarly to this with the same kind of suspenseful feel? I am dying…
Other people have said it, but I'm reiterating it. Queen In Hyun's man. Has the same feel as W- a sweet romance with deeper underlying sinister things going on, and the worry when the two main leads get split apart is the same. I highly recommend watching it~

For all it's faults, I'm at a scene where the main couple are dancing together and the entire thing is just so ridiculously beautiful. Looking past the bad SFX, this drama is sooo pretty. Feng Shao Feng's beauty helps. It's sort of like a video game- it doesn't look realistic, but if you look past some of the minor faults you can appreciate what it's trying to do.

Pretty decent. Not life-changing, not too impactful, but a decent way to spend two hours. Also Song Joong Ki is complete eye candy, so there's that.

Is it just me or does Victoria's voice sound different?
Her voice is probably dubbed by a different actor, as are most of the other ones.

LOVING this so far. Been watching a lot of currently airing/recently aired dramas lately, and this one has me hooked the most. Uncontrollably Fond is a decently close second, but this drama is just SO my style. Supernatural mystery romance, with a ridiculously rich and good looking male lead that isn't unbelievable because he's a gosh-darned *spoiler*! So good. Doctors is boring the ever-loving crap out of me in comparison.
