I'm with you. I feel like the dragging wasn't so much the flirting itself, but the lack of clarity about what…
I think you're right about the Mil thing. I also think you're right about the show not giving us enough history as to why this is happening. I just think that when you see violence like this in BL dramas (or any teen/youth dramas for that matter), and a specific type of person or group is targeted, I think that show is definitely sending the wrong message.
After reading all the comments here, I was expecting a horrible episode. I thought it was just fine.We finally…
I agree with Synchonicity about the episode being better than I thought. I just hated that the series had to drop back into the same old trope, "your family doesn't want you to be gay, so I'm going to break up with you to please them, but not tell you about it." LMAO! I would've just liked to have seen Tutor tell Fighter what his dad did, and then take the story line from that point. I think it would've made a much better show.
P.S. I just hope that Fighter doesn't rape Tutor or something crazy like that, such as was alluded to in next week's episode. That would really take this show down trope lane.
Please don't be a hater. I did like this episode. However, I'm not sure how this stage of their "relationship" is going according to the novel. But, this series is starting to drag the flirting/I like you/I'm not sure I like you, etc. thing between Tine and Sarawat just a bit much for me.
Also, I really don't like the violence stuff with Sarawat continually getting beat up because his fangirls like his IG posts. I know it's just a tv show, and I realize it may also be a social-cultural issue. But, when I see characters (especially the gay character) continuously getting beat-up on tv (AND NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT), that makes me very, very nervous. This should not be, and I hope that it isn't something people enjoy seeing as part of a tv drama.
Okay. I have to agree with most of the other posts. This ep. was all over the place. It didn't seem to flow at all during the first part. Now, the last scene, where Tine finally figures things out and Sarawat finally confesses his true feeling -- that was a good scene. But, I'm not sure it took all of the back-and-forth "high school high-jinx" to get to this point. Gladly, we're finally at this point, and I truly hope the series will continue to get better from here.
Stupidthinker is right. If television programming is similar in Thailand, as in the West or the US, local stations/networks…
You're absolutely right! Sorry. I wasn't suggesting that anything should be done while we're in this horrible pandemic. I was suggesting that once all of this over (which I pray will be soon) and people again begin to feel safe, the production company may still have options.
Just my opinion: due to the restrictions with COVID-19, I would rather the series go on hold indefinitely, rather…
Stupidthinker is right. If television programming is similar in Thailand, as in the West or the US, local stations/networks (compared to national or international networks, including social media) have vastly different standards when it comes to programming, airing, and producing shows. However, in these days and times, there are many other avenues for airing productions (web series, streaming, Youtube, Facebook, etc.), once you've figured out all of the contractual and legal obligations. Yes, it can be difficult, and even costly, but not impossible. I guess it would depend on how the production company for Why RU wants to truly end this project.
so, my brain might just be stupid or I missed something, but I'm a bit confused...was fighter really under the…
Well, i think you may be on to something. It was my understanding that they were there to sort out their relationship (and to boink to get it out of their systems)...LOL Remember, the eps leading up to this ep set it up that they were getting horny for one another. At least, that's the way I saw it. Was I wrong?
Now, I'm not sure if P'Fight and Tutor were virgins. But, P'Fight really went all out to make the vacation romantic and sweep Tutor off his feet. Possibly because he wanted they're first time to be special. It would be hard for any couple NOT to be caught up in the romantic vibes. I was getting the vibe just watching it...lmao I believe Tutor WAS swept off his feet, and you add that to the intensive feelings developing between the two young men...then BOOM, you've got boinking all over the place...
