Again, I'm right there with ya! But, remember, the "age-thing" seems to be a dominant theme in this series.. lol…
True, true, true. It is interesting why they cast such a young actor for the role of Blu. Again, hmmmm! lmao

Well, to put it simply, Sarawat is feeling down and horny, and manipulates Tine into allowing Sarawat to "relieve" himself (on Tine). And, for lack of a better way to put it, Sarawat "really" does a number on Tine's backside, causing injury, pain etc. But, as in traditional BL fashion, AFTER "relieving" himself, then Sarawat feels guilty, loving, and caring.. Yada, yada, yada. . I think the novel portrays that side of Sarawat as a horny, selfish, manipulative sadist in those chapters, unlike how he is portrayed by GMMTV.

I kind of like the way GMMTV has taken this story and turned it into a series. I'm also very glad they've chosen to vary from the novel. BL novels tend to have a great many tropes, stereotypes, and behaviors that do not bode well for the LGBTQ community, such as violence and rape. This series still has a few tropes and stereotypes, as well as some violence directed towards the gay characters (Sarawat, and Greene) that is treated lightly in the series. However, the show does attempt to address these within the storyline. Now, if GMMTV chooses to follow the novel regarding the infamous ch. 21 scene that is in the novel, I think that would go against the relationship they've established between the characters thus far in the series. DON'T DO IT GMMTV!!

Dew/Blue is kind of odd. The story went from Dew behaving like a total ass, to suddenly acting sweet and like…
Again, I'm right there with ya! But, remember, the "age-thing" seems to be a dominant theme in this series.. lol Zee is 6 years older than Saint; Tommy (Zon) is 5 years older than Jimmy (Saifah); Max (dew) is nearly 10 years older than Nat (Blu); Park (Japan) is 7 years older than Seng (Tanthai), etc., etc. I'm not sure this was intentional on the part of the director or producers. But, it does deserve a hmmmm! lol

Ugh.... After seeing episode 12 I realized that Tutor is so annoying and unlikable... There I said it... Like…
Remember, what Tutor did was probably not cool. But, what Fighter did was much, much worse. Had Tutor not said something to get Fighter to stop himself, would Fighter have gone ahead and raped him? You never do that to someone you say you love, never! I didn't read the novel, so I don't know if it was in the original plot. However, rape seems to be a common theme in alot of the BL's unfortunately.

It's true that in terms of acting and cinematography and yes, even plot and characterisation, this is better than…
I agree with your assessment of the treatment of the gay character in this series.
Unfortunately, this series started out with the same old tropish , stereotyped behavior that appears to be common in many BL's. Mark is drunk and Vee takes advantage of him -- culture not withstanding, this is still sexual assault (rape for those that don't understand). Also, the same old "sick" idea that "you fall in love with your rapist," is also in this series. I also agree that the acting and pairing of the characters in Tossara was not nearly as interesting as the current couple. But, at least their love story did not start out from a rape trope storyline like this one.

I mostly agree with you. The only problem I have is all the violence in this series; and it seems that violence…
P.S. I apologize. I have a personal pet peeve when these BL shows go to extreme with the all of stereotypes, tropes, and violence directed toward the LGBT character(s) etc., because I think it really does the LGBT community a disservice.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I'm BL trash, and will watch just about anything in the genre. What usually pisses…
I mostly agree with you. The only problem I have is all the violence in this series; and it seems that violence is either centered around or directed (and maybe unintentionally) only towards the LGBT character(s). Hmmm!

OK! Although I LUV'D this episode, I want to first make it clear that what Fighter did in the first scene was NOT okay, even though he stopped himself. Yeah, Tutor didn't really need to do something that he knew would make Fighter jealous. But, you never, never, never assault the person you say you love, even if you're feeling heart broken. I'm glad the story didn't go down the old "rape" trope. THAT IS NEVER OK!
Now, that that comment is done. Let's get back to the story. I thought it was also good to get somewhat of a catch-up with the other couples. We kinda had forgotten about them. LOL Although it is also NOT cool to go through people's phone, it was good to see that Fighter found out the truth and confronted his dad.
Finally, I thought that Zee's character (Fighter) really did a good job with his character in this ep. He sounded and appeared so believable, so much so that even I wanted to shed a tear a couple of times! Lmao!

RIGHT! By jove you've got it! (My Fair Lady reference, lol) The series set it up that Tutor's character was that of a very wise youth. And, breaking up with Fighter may have been the eventual outcome anyway. However, it was a little out of Tutor's character NOT to tell Fighter why... That's all I was saying.

You are absolutely right. And, actually, I did read your comment -- and it was pretty insightful. Also, I definitely agree with your synopsis -- the piling obstacles, the dealing with everything alone, and being overwhelmed. I would also agree that all of that would be definitely enough for Tutor initiate the breakup with Fighter (no doubt). I was just merely saying had the director or producer thrown in just the little of Tutor telling Fighter why their breaking up, it could've added a nice different dimension to the storyline and made it a lot less trope-like (i.e., I love you. But, I'm breaking up with you, and I'm not going to tell you why). Hmmm. Sounds just like a great many, many, many dramas eps., and not just BL dramas. But, I could be totally wrong -- would not be the first time... lol

I'm not sure that ppl are hating on Tutor. I think most folks wanted to see more than just the same old trope-like scene (at least I did). In my opinion, the way the show setup Tutor's initial character, it portrayed him as strong-willed, confident, and wise, with a deep down need to be held, loved, and accepted. As Fighter stated (and gave him the necklace), "he's a fighter." Tutor apparently had the courage to tell his sister and mother about his life, and was really was wanting to tell HwaHwa about his relationship with Fighter. Finally, Tutor was constantly getting on Fighter to be honest about his feelings. With all of this said, I can kind of see where many folks would say that it is out of character for Tutor to behave this way after the scene with Fighter's dad. Where was all that "fighter" in Tutor that Fighter said was in Tutor? Where was the being honest with Fighter like he wanted Fighter to be honest with him? Where was all the confidence shown in Tutor leading up to this episode? And, why did we see only the emotional side of Tutor is this ep? Granted, love can always wreck havoc with our emotions and life (if we let it). But, even in a BL drama, such as this one, the director/producers can always give us a good story without always going back down the trope/stereotype lane.

I think this ep probably would have been just fine (and probably wouldn't have gotten all the hater responses), if they had let Tutor be honest with Fighter and tell him what his dad had said to him, and then pick up the rest of scene from that point. I think that would've been more in line with the character established for Tutor.
